If it were a typical day at this ti, Pei Jing would have already tidied up and gone to kindergarten with Pei Huai.
At kindergarten, there would be many other kids his age to play with, and teachers to lead them in gas and tell them stories. The days were interesting and fun.
Unlike now, which was quite boring.

Jiang Ran opened the book and started with the first story.
The first story was "The Ugly Duckling."

This was the first ti the train had stopped since they woke up that morning.
Pei Jing’s bright eyes imdiately looked outside, "Mom, the train stopped. Are we there yet?"
Jiang Ran shook her head, "No, it just stopped to let other people get on the train."
Hearing that they hadn’t arrived, Pei Jing was a bit disappointed and just said oh, but his eyes still gazed outside.
There were quite a few people standing on the platform, starting to board the train at that mont.
Soon, a few people ca into their small compartnt as well.
Jiang Ran knew that the three bunks opposite them would eventually have soone sleeping in them.

Jiang Ran looked at the newcors and found that there were three of them.
Two young n, around Pei Huai’s age, she guessed.
The other was an older man, looking to be in his sixties, with partially white hair and a wrinkled face, but his back was still straight.
After the three entered, the older man sat directly on a bunk, while the other two were arranging their luggage.
Once they situated their luggage, the two simultaneously turned to look at Jiang Ran and Pei Jing.
When they saw Pei Jing, they frowned slightly.
Seeing this reaction, Jiang Ran raised an eyebrow.

But since they said nothing, Jiang Ran also kept her silence.
Soon enough, the train started again with its rhythmic clanking.
Pei Jing withdrew his gaze and looked at Jiang Ran, "Mom, continue with the story?"
Of course, Jiang Ran wouldn’t refuse Pei Jing’s request.
