Watching Pei Baoshan riding the tricycle and bringing Wang Cuilan back, Jiang Ran started to laugh.

Wang Cuilan nodded along, "It’s nice, much better than just slapping so red paint on a random wooden board."
But the price must be higher too.
However, Wang Cuilan didn’t say this out loud.
The price doesn’t matter; what matters is the quality.
As long as it’s good, a higher price is understandable.
Despite growing up through tough tis, Wang Cuilan understands the concept of getting what you pay for.
For such a courtyard house, the gate is one of the most important elents.
If the gate isn’t secure, wouldn’t outsiders easily break in?

After Wang Cuilan and Pei Baoshan had admired the gate enough, Jiang Ran shared her idea with them.

This explanation was even more heartwarming than waiting by the phone.
"Really? Are you saying this just to make happy?"
"Of course not, it’s like we’re on the sa wavelength."
Though it sounded like a cheesy line, at that mont, both the speaker and the listener found it delightful, prompting a smile.
That’s probably what it’s like to be in love.
What might sound terribly cheesy to others, to them, sounds like the most ordinary conversation.
