"Sister Ye’er, here’s a newspaper for you to sit on." Reaching the shade of the trees, Wen Nan pulled out a newspaper from his bag and handed it to Luo Ye, then plopped himself down on the ground.
"Little Pumpkin, you’re really thoughtful." Luo Ye praised.
"Sister Ye’er, he’s only thoughtful towards you. Little Pumpkin totally admires you, he’s always whispering about you near my ear, I’ve almost got calluses." Lu Lu said as he exaggeratedly dug at his ear.
"You haven’t seen my sister’s skills; aside from Brother Yan, we’ve all been defeated by Sister Ye’er, and I’m not just bragging."
"Luoluo, introduce us!" Xing Nong, pulling Yaoguang along, ran over with a grin.
"Little Pumpkin, this is Yan Xing Nong, and this is Mo Yaoguang." Luo Ye then pointed at two boys and introduced them: "This is my cousin Wen Nan, nicknad Little Pumpkin, and Little Pumpkin’s classmate, Lu Lu."
"Ladies, please make do and sit down." Lu Lu dug out a few 16K colorful magazines from his bag and handed them to Xing Nong and Yaoguang. "Little brother, really observant!" Xing Nong said with a giggle as she pinched Lu Lu’s pale cheeks.
"Sister Xing Nong, you can call Lu Lu." Lu Lu slightly tilted his head, his cheeks blushing a bit.
Luo Ye rubbed her forehead, she had guessed that this girl would make a move on Lu Lu, but hadn’t expected her to be so quick about it. Glancing at Yaoguang, her lips twitched with amusent.
"Lu Lu, how old are you this year?" Xing Nong affectionately tugged on Lu Lu’s ear.
Luo Ye ’coughed’ seriously and swiftly changed the topic: "Little Pumpkin, do your grandpa and the others know you’re here?" She truly worried that Xing Nong’s flirting would beco too overt. Speaking of which, both Lu Lu and Wen Nan should be around fourteen or fifteen years old, only a few years younger than Xing Nong; their faces were as red as shrimp, probably never having dealt with such a fiery girl.
Wen Nan looked discontent: "You still have the nerve to say, having promised to co to Sha City a few days earlier, agreeing all nicely then disappearing without a trace. If I hadn’t randomly decided to call Aunt, I wouldn’t even know you were coming today. No one else at ho knew, because I called from outside, worried that we might not be able to find you if sothing happened."
"Little Pumpkin was considerate." Luo Ye affectionately ruffled Wen Nan’s hair. "As for not coming earlier this sumr break, you should understand. The military school rules are strict; can only go ho during the winter break. Even then, when I left, both Aunt and my Mom were crying."
"You wouldn’t stop Aunt from crying even if you left a month later!" Wen Nan pouted. "When you, Uncle, and Brother Feng left early the last ti, Aunt missed you all so much she secretly wiped her tears, thought we didn’t notice."
"Alright, don’t be upset. In the future, on the days I can go out, I’ll stay at ho. I have to be here for four years anyway, so don’t make such a face."
Once Luo Ye said this, Wen Nan’s face grew even longer: "Sister Ye’er, you love to deceive! Last ti you said you’d co stay at ho on Sundays, kept happy for a long ti, only recently found out that in GF [university], eight people share a dorm with only two allowed out each week, only exception in special circumstances. This ans one can only get out once a month, how boring!"
Luo Ye twisted Wen Nan’s ear, "I’m cooped up and not complaining, what’s with all your grumbling, I might just head back to the car."
Wen Nan smiled appeasingly: "Okay okay, Sister Ye’er, don’t be mad. You never keep your word and still not allowed to grumble?"
"Xing Nong, stop it, look how uncomfortable you’re making the kid." Luo Ye leaned on her forehead, exasperated. While she and Little Pumpkin were talking, that girl had turned Lu Lu from a shrimp into a tomato.
"I didn’t pinch him, though?" Xing Nong looked innocent.
Luo Ye rolled her eyes: "Hmm, didn’t pinch his face, but pinched his waist secretly, think I didn’t see?"
"It’s nothing, actually I’m just hot." Lu Lu chuckled and vigorously fanned himself.
"Tangtang?" Mo Yaoguang, who had been looking around, suddenly called out. Luo Ye and Xing Nong followed his gaze, and indeed, Tang Luo and Fu Mo were searching around.
Xing Nong smacked her lips: "The power of love is indeed strong, Fu Mo, having passed the exam at B University, still ca here first."
"Xing Nong, don’t make fun of Tangtang. Getting into this school, she already gave up a lot, you should understand which direction her family leans towards in terms of developnt. Plus, she did this to lessen her Aunt’s burden. From any aspect, we should support her." Luo Ye cautioned Xing Nong before standing up and waving to Tang Luo and Fu Mo.
