After breakfast the next day, Luo Ye and Yu Wenze took a short break and were accompanied by several staff mbers from the Security Departnt and the Information Center to climb the Great Wall.
They had been to the Great Wall countless tis, but because of its symbolic significance, they naturally couldn’t decline the chief’s kind gesture.
Luo Ye and Yu Wenze’s physical strength was evident, and they quickly left the accompanying personnel behind. Yu Wenze glanced back and couldn’t help but mutter in a low voice, "With this ti, I might as well go back to do research." He nodded backwards with his chin, "And look at them, their eyes aren’t right."
Having known each other for a while, Luo Ye and Yu Wenze shared a relationship that was both teacher-student and friendly, so she joked with a laugh, "Professor Yu Wen, they’re just envious of us. You should be satisfied."

Luo Ye knew he was referring to Yue Lingqin’s matter, so she waved her hand, "That’s only natural. Senior Sister is actually a good person, having encountered sothing like this...I hope she can slowly recover."
After Yue Lingqin’s incident, she couldn’t take the blow and attempted suicide. Fortunately, she was found early and saved, but since then she had locked herself in her room, unwilling to see anyone.

Luo Ye shook her head helplessly. She couldn’t have imagined that Professor Yu Wen, who seed unemotional to others, was quite sentintal. She quickly caught up with Yu Wenze, "You an, even if he signed an agreent with the Yodani Family before coming to you, you’ll still help him?"

As Luo Ye and Yu Wenze were about to reach Director Lei’s office, they bumped into Feng Xian coming their way, "Little Ye’er, rushing to see ? Are things progressing well with my brother?" As Feng Xian spoke, she reached out to pinch Luo Ye’s cheek, and Luo Ye dodged while helplessly saying, "Big sister, I’m begging you, please stop teasing , okay?"
"I’m the second in the family, so I’m Second Sister. Little Ye’er, don’t call wrong again." Saying this, she pushed Luo Ye towards Director Lei’s office, "Go quickly, I’ll wait for you outside."

Feng Xian had sharp ears and bounded next to Yu Wenze in just a few steps, "Sir, you’re onto sothing. My brother is Little Ye’er’s suitor, and I’m helping him."
"Oh, oh..." Yu Wenze replied chanically, at a loss for words.
"Go on." Feng Xian waved her hand and sat back down.
Yu Wenze suddenly patted his head, "She’s Captain Feng Tianzhi’s sister?"
Luo Ye nodded, "You guessed right. Don’t you think they have similar personalities?"
"Indeed, they even look a bit alike."
As they talked, they reached Director Lei’s office. After knocking and entering, following a brief small talk, Director Lei had soone take Yu Wenze to see Yang Miao.
"Director Lei, if you’re keeping to discuss matters of the Security Departnt and Information Center, skip it. I never intended to consider that." As soon as Yu Wenze left, seeing Director Lei’s intention for a long talk, Luo Ye imdiately raised her hand to state.
"You!" Director Lei pointed at her with a smile and got up to take out an exquisite tea canister from the cabinet, "Here, reward yourself with so good tea."
Luo Ye quickly took the canister and sniffed it, "I’ll brew it, I can’t let the chief serve . Hmm, this tea slls so nice, I like it."
"Knock, knock, knock..."
After the knock, Director Lei’s secretary ca to report, "Commander, Lieutenant Feng Xian is requesting to see you."
"Let her in." Director Lei shook his head with a smile, "That girl, she’s like a bloodhound, drawn to the scent."
"Uncle Lei, you scold , I’ll tell on you to Auntie!" Feng Xian joked with Director Lei as she playfully pinched Luo Ye’s cheek, "Little girl, thought you could hide here?"
Luo Ye pouted, "Second Sister, I’m not hiding from you. It’s just that Director Lei has sothing to discuss with ."
Director Lei laughed along, "Yes, I asked Little Ye’er for a chat. Xiao Xian, I understand your intentions. Listen to Uncle’s advice, better to dismantle ten temples than to ruin one marriage."
"If their feelings are genuine, how could I ruin their marriage? If it gets ruined, it just ans they’re not suitable." Feng Xian retorted confidently.
"You child..." Director Lei pointed helplessly at her, "I wonder who can reign you in."
Feng Xian spread her hands, "Don’t say, I do have soone in mind. Unfortunately, the Ye Family snatched it away again. I’ve realized the Ye siblings are our nesis." Suddenly moving closer to Luo Ye, "Little Ye’er, do you know what my brother did for you?"
Luo Ye shook her head while brewing tea, "I don’t know, and I don’t want to know."
Feng Xian feigned a sigh, "You ungrateful thing, my poor brother is so attentive to you, and you’re so oblivious. Ah, I truly feel for my brother."
"Have so tea." Luo Ye put a cup in front of her to silence her.
Feng Xian leaned her head closer to Luo Ye’s face, staring intently, "I say, does Little Ye’er really not want to know what my brother did?"
"If you’re talking about Ye Xuan appealing to return, I already know. I’ll thank him face-to-face when I see him."
Feng Xian waved her hands with a smile, "Not that, there’s sothing else too. Honestly, my brother is so amazing, my idol!"
Director Lei frowned, "Xiao Xian, listen to Uncle’s advice, don’t ddle in their affairs. I’m saying this not to protect Ye Xuan intentionally, but for the sake of addressing matters realistically.
There are too many obstacles between Feng Tianzhi and Ye’er. Prolonging this entanglent will only make it difficult for everyone. If you truly care for your brother, you should advise him, not blindly ss around, stirring trouble."
