As soon as Jiang Xue entered the space, the Little Fox and the Big Tiger circled around her. They hadn’t seen Jiang Xue for several days, and really missed her, as well as Little Reunion.
So when it saw her, the Little Fox couldn’t help but say sourly, "Woman, you finally deign to co in?"
"What, you missed ?" Jiang Xue asked with a squinty smile. Counting it up, she hadn’t entered the space for about seven days.
"What do you think?" The Little Fox rolled its eyes at Jiang Xue and said, "We’re not like so people, who forget their friends when they have a man, having such a blast outside they don’t even want to co back."
Hearing that line from the Little Fox, Jiang Xue laughed even harder, then reached out and picked the Little Fox up, saying, "Listen to yourself—is that sothing a Little Fox should be saying?"
"Why isn’t it sothing I should be saying?" The Little Fox rolled its eyes at Jiang Xue and said, "I know your Spiritual Power has already reached Level 10, so you’ve gotten lazy and don’t want to co in to do Cultivation anymore. But I’m telling you, Cultivation is just like studying, it’s like rowing upstream—if you’re not moving forward, you’re going backward. You think it over yourself."
With that, the Little Fox broke free of Jiang Xue’s hand, then flickered away into the distance. Watching its retreating figure, Jiang Xue couldn’t help but shake her head, thinking to herself, "I just didn’t co in for a few days, is it really that serious?"
Thinking this, Jiang Xue lifted her feet and headed toward the study. She had to go to the study and take out that book on refining elixirs to have a look, then see if she could make a few kinds for Mu Qiancheng to take with him.
After she found the book she needed, Jiang Xue started reading it carefully. By the ti she finished one book, an hour had already passed.
Seeing that it was getting late, she finally closed the book, then flashed out of the space. As soon as she ca out, she saw Mu Qiancheng and Little Reunion already in the room. Little Reunion had just taken a bath and was playing on the bed, while Mu Qiancheng was beside him keeping him company.
Seeing Jiang Xue appear, Mu Qiancheng was already used to it and asked with a smile, "You done with your stuff?"
Jiang Xue nodded, then asked, "Have you taken a shower yet?"
"Not yet, I was waiting for you." Mu Qiancheng smiled, then pointed at Little Reunion and said, "And with our son not asleep, I can’t relax either."
"I’ll watch him, you go shower first." Jiang Xue glanced at Mu Qiancheng, then sat down by the bed. Little Reunion saw Jiang Xue, his face lit up with a smile. He grabbed her hand and pointed at the toys on the bed, indicating that he wanted to play with her.
Seeing his son’s little hand movents, Mu Qiancheng, who had been about to refuse, could only quietly get off the bed and go find clothes to take a shower.
After his shower, he ca back to the bed, then said to his son, who was playing with Jiang Xue, "Son, let Mom go take a shower, she’ll play with you again in a bit."
Little Reunion looked at Jiang Xue and nodded. Jiang Xue smiled, got up, and went to take a shower. After she finished showering, the couple played with Little Reunion for a while longer before finally coaxing him to sleep.
Once Little Reunion fell asleep, a smile tugged at the corners of Mu Qiancheng’s lips. Then he flipped over in one smooth motion and pressed Jiang Xue beneath him, saying, "Xue’er, let’s get so exercise?"
At those words, Jiang Xue’s face instantly flushed red. She glanced at their sleeping son beside them and said, "Our son is right there."
"It’s fine, we’ll be careful and not wake him up. Or... do you want to try a different place?"
"A different place?" Jiang Xue glared at Mu Qiancheng. No way. Other than the bathroom, it’d be the sofa. Those two places are fun once in a while for the sake of romance, but doing it all the ti is just having sothing wrong with your brain.
