Fine, fine, since he wants to feed, let him feed.

Seeing Jiang Xue open her mouth, Mu Qiancheng was delighted, his ears a bit flushed. It was his first ti doing this, feeling both novel and excited.

Jiang Xue took the food from Mu Qiancheng’s hand and finished eating. Then, seeing him going to pick up more, she quickly said, "No need, I can do it myself."

Mu Qiancheng hesitated with his hand outstretched, watching Jiang Xue take a skewer herself and start eating. Imdiately, a sense of loss flooded his heart.

However, this feeling of loss didn’t last long as Jiang Xue took a skewer and placed it in Mu Qiancheng’s hand, saying, "Don’t just sit there watching, eat up!"

"Alright, let’s eat together!" Mu Qiancheng’s face broke into a smile again, and he started eating the skewer in his hand.

The couple ordered quite a bit, but Jiang Xue could eat, and Mu Qiancheng ate quite a lot too. Patting her overly full stomach, Jiang Xue said, "After eating so much now, I guess there’s no need for breakfast tomorrow."

"No worries, eat whenever you’re hungry," Mu Qiancheng smiled indulgently. It was rare for Jiang Xue to enjoy herself, so she should indulge if she wanted to eat.

After eating their fill, they didn’t forget about Mrs. Jiang. They packed a portion to take back to the hospital. Fortunately, the night market was not too far from the hospital, and they walked back, treating it as a way to digest.

Back at the hospital, Father Jiang had not woken up yet. The doctor had inford them it would take about four or five hours for him to wake, by which ti it would nearly be dawn.

Jiang Xue handed the food to Mrs. Jiang, saying, "Mom, go have sothing to eat. Qiancheng and I will watch over Dad."

"You child, didn’t you go back to rest? Why did you buy food?" Mrs. Jiang slightly scolded her daughter for spending money, but she also understood it was her gesture of care, so she didn’t say much more and went to eat aside.

Although she had never eaten late at night, staying up all night made her hungry. If Jiang Xue hadn’t bought anything, she’d have endured it.

But since it was bought, it couldn’t go to waste, could it? Besides, she was hungry.

Seeing Mrs. Jiang sitting to the side eating, Jiang Xue glanced up at Mu Qiancheng, a faint smile spreading across her face.

The three stayed in the ward guarding Father Jiang, none of them sleeping. However, Mu Qiancheng, feeling sorry for Jiang Xue, let her lean on him to nap for a while.

Father Jiang slept until just after five before waking up. Opening his eyes to see his wife and daughter, and his son-in-law keeping vigil by his side, he felt warmth in his heart, and his eyes grew a bit moist.

"Xiuhua!" Father Jiang called out to Mrs. Jiang. It had been a long ti since he’d called her that. Usually, he called her his old partner or the old woman.

But today, upon opening his eyes and seeing her, he couldn’t help but call her by her na. Liu Xiuhua, Mrs. Jiang’s na.

Hearing the call, Mrs. Jiang was startled, then realizing it was Father Jiang, she beca excited and said, "Old man, you’re awake?"

Mrs. Jiang’s voice was a bit loud, and her call woke up Jiang Xue, who had been dozing. She opened her eyes, saw Father Jiang was awake, shrugged off her sleepiness, stood up, and asked, "Dad, how are you feeling? Is there any discomfort?"

As soon as Mu Qiancheng saw Father Jiang was awake, he imdiately went to find the doctor on duty.
