As soon as Jiang Mingzhu entered the room, without saying a word, she grabbed Cheng Li and pulled her up, then asked, "Bitch, is it done yet?"
"No, no!" Cheng Li was startled and stamred as she looked at Jiang Mingzhu. She never expected Jiang Mingzhu to co into her room in the middle of the night.
She thought that even if there was an inquiry, it would happen the next morning.
"No?" Jiang Mingzhu’s mood, already foul, worsened upon hearing this. She raised her hand and slapped Cheng Li, saying, "Worthless! You can’t even handle a bit of business. How did you promise before, saying you could lure the other party out?"
"And now? Did you lure them out? You talk a good ga, bitch, bitch." Jiang Mingzhu cursed as she dealt Cheng Li a few more slaps.
Cheng Li was dazed from the beating, not reacting for quite a while. It wasn’t until Jiang Mingzhu had vented her anger and left that she ca to her senses.
Reaching out, she touched her swollen face, her heart filled with hatred. She hated Jiang Xue, and she hated Jiang Mingzhu too.
Jiang Xue, Jiang Mingzhu, just you wait, one day I’ll make your lives worse than death.
Enduring the pain, Cheng Li lay back down on the mat. The pain in her face kept her awake for a long ti.
In a daze, the sky gradually brightened. A knocking on the door finally roused Cheng Li from bed.
She got up to open it, and when Ah Yong saw Cheng Li’s face, swollen beyond recognition, he was greatly shocked.
"You, how did you end up like this?" Ah Yong asked, puzzled. Last night when Cheng Li returned, her face was fine.
Ah Yong hadn’t realized that Cheng Li’s face had been beaten by Jiang Mingzhu. Last night Cheng Li’s face had already been swollen, and she didn’t apply any dicine. After a night’s ti, it had only gotten more swollen.
Cheng Li’s expression darkened, and she gave Ah Yong a fierce glare, asking irritably, "What do you want?"

At the ntion of Jiang Mingzhu wanting her, Cheng Li’s expression turned ugly for a mont. She knew Jiang Mingzhu contacting her was definitely not for her benefit, but if she went to see Jiang Xue with her face like this, she felt she would lose face.
However, since Jiang Mingzhu was calling her, there was no choice but to go. Cheng Li took a deep breath, stifled the resentnt within her, and left the room to find Jiang Mingzhu.
When Cheng Li arrived, Jiang Mingzhu was having breakfast. It was Saturday, so she didn’t need to go to work, allowing her to have breakfast a little later.
Additionally, she wanted to handle the Jiang Xue matter quickly, so she planned to stay ho and supervise Cheng Li. She suspected Cheng Li hadn’t even gone to see Jiang Xue the day before.
Seeing Cheng Li arrive, and especially noting her face, swollen like a pig’s head, a look of disgust flickered in Jiang Mingzhu’s eyes.
However, she quickly masked it and said blandly, "You’re here, sit down and have breakfast."
