"What, not welco?" Mr. Mu looked at Mu Qiancheng with a beaming smile, clearly happy to see him return.
His face was practically blossoming with joy.
"Of course not," Mu Qiancheng replied with a smile. Although his smile was faint, it was enough to make Mr. Mu happy for quite a while.
He had always worried that Mu Qiancheng would be like Mu Siwu, but to his surprise, Mu Qiancheng still had so feelings for him.
Even though these feelings were quite faint, for Mr. Mu, it was already quite good. The hardest part is always the beginning, and now with such a good start, Mr. Mu believed things would continue to get better.
"Did you co back today because there’s a holiday tomorrow?" Mr. Mu thought for a mont and asked. Today was Friday, and the military had weekends off. In the past, Mu Qiancheng was too far away to co ho.

"She’s in the kitchen cooking."

Seeing this, Mr. Mu didn’t hold Little Reunion back any longer and let Mu Qiancheng take him.
Mu Qiancheng, holding his son, headed towards the kitchen.
"Son, let’s go find Mommy!" Mu Qiancheng said as he quickened his pace. Upon entering the kitchen, he saw Jiang Xue and Mrs. Jiang busy cooking.
The kitchen was a bit small, so Mu Qiancheng didn’t go inside. Instead, he stood at the doorway, looking at Jiang Xue with a gentle expression in his eyes.
Jiang Xue hadn’t noticed Mu Qiancheng at all, focused on stirring the dish. On the other hand, Mrs. Jiang noticed him imdiately and smiled, saying, "Qiancheng, you’re back?"
"Yes!" Mu Qiancheng nodded, then fixed his gaze on Jiang Xue, not disturbing her.
But Little Reunion, not content with being ignored by Mommy, made so noise.
Hearing Little Reunion’s voice, Jiang Xue paused and turned her head. Just in ti, she t Mu Qiancheng’s eyes. Their eyes t, and Jiang Xue froze for a mont, her face turning slightly red.
She turned the stove down a bit and then walked over to Mu Qiancheng, asking, "How do you have ti to co back?"
"Ca back to see you all," Mu Qiancheng smiled, then noticed a strand of hair falling on Jiang Xue’s face and lifted his hand to tuck it behind her ear.
When Mu Qiancheng touched Jiang Xue’s ear, her face instantly turned red.
Seeing there was nothing for her to do, and not wanting to disturb the young couple, Mrs. Jiang quietly slipped out. Of course, what she thought was a quiet exit was completely noticed by Mu Qiancheng.
Once Mrs. Jiang left, the kitchen only had Jiang Xue and Mu Qiancheng. Without others around, Mu Qiancheng’s gaze beca more intense, causing Jiang Xue’s face to grow even redder.
She kept her head slightly lowered, not daring to look at Mu Qiancheng or say a word. It wasn’t until she slled sothing burning that her expression changed.
