Jiang Xue was taken aback, turned to look at Manager Yang, and only after a while did she say, "Manager Yang, are you serious about wanting to help sell my calligraphy?"
"Couldn’t ask for more!" Manager Yang laughed. He understood the value of Jiang Xue’s calligraphy more than anyone else, so he believed that as long as Jiang Xue was willing, with his connections, they would definitely be able to sell them.
"Alright then, I’ve just written so pieces recently. I’ll bring them over to you tomorrow to see if they can be sold. As for the price, you can decide."
"You want to set the price?" Manager Yang was taken aback, never expecting Jiang Xue to leave the pricing decision to him.
It was only logical that since Jiang Xue wrote the calligraphy, she should set the price. But unexpectedly, Jiang Xue trusted him so much that she entrusted such an important matter to him, making him feel both flattered and surprised.
"That’s right, you set the price. I trust you!"
The words ’I trust you’ shook Manager Yang, and his gaze towards Jiang Xue changed instantly. How did he deserve such trust from her?
As the saying goes, ’a gentleman will die for soone who understands him.’ At that mont, Manager Yang felt that he wouldn’t have any regrets even if he had to die for Jiang Xue.
"Alright then, since you trust so much, I definitely won’t let you suffer a loss." Manager Yang imdiately promised. Jiang Xue looked up to him even more.
Manager Yang chatted with Jiang Xue while driving, and they soon arrived at the mall. He led Jiang Xue straight to the third floor, where they specialized in selling electronics.
Since mobile phones were still a new thing, they were relatively expensive, and the selling areas weren’t very large, not like in later years when phones were sold everywhere.
There weren’t many types of mobile phones, and they were mostly black in color. Jiang Xue took quite a while before she settled on a silver one, then paid for it and also bought a SIM card.
Luckily, with Manager Yang as a familiar face, the phone was three hundred bucks cheaper.
With the phone, Jiang Xue imdiately saved the number of Manager Yang’s office into it for easy contact. Once all the paper work was done, it was almost seven o’clock by the ti they left the mall.
Seeing how late it was, Manager Yang wasn’t comfortable letting Jiang Xue go back alone, so he drove her directly to the entrance of her residential area.
As for the bicycle, it was fine to leave it at Manager Yang’s workplace, she could pick it up the next day.
When Jiang Xue got ho, Mu Qiancheng was already back, and they had already had dinner.
Seeing Jiang Xue return, Mu Qiancheng imdiately stood up and asked with concern, "Xue’er, why are you back so late today? Are you alright?"
"I’m fine!" Jiang Xue smiled and shook her head, reaching out to hold Little Reunion.
"You haven’t eaten yet, right? Let heat up the food." Mrs. Jiang saw Jiang Xue holding Little Reunion and stood up to help warm up the dishes.
"Son, co over to Dad’s side, let your mom have a good al." Mu Qiancheng reached out to take Little Reunion, holding him as he sat next to Jiang Xue, keeping her company as she ate.
Little Reunion was quite well-behaved, not making any fuss while being held by Mu Qiancheng.
After eating, Jiang Xue cleaned up the dishes, then she and Mu Qiancheng took Little Reunion back to their ho. Once ho, Jiang Xue originally planned to have so close ti with her son. But thinking that Mu Qiancheng would be leaving in a few days, she didn’t compete with him, trying to let him spend as much ti as possible with their son.
Mu Qiancheng sensed Jiang Xue’s intentions and tried to spend as much ti as possible with his son, playing with him. It wasn’t until Little Reunion seed sleepy that he took him for a bath.
