"Xue’er, thank you for your hard work!" Mu Qiancheng felt relieved after hearing Jiang Xue’s words. As long as his parents were safe, he could focus on training the soldiers here.
"It’s nothing!" Jiang Xue smiled and rested her head on Mu Qiancheng’s shoulder.
The two sat quietly for a while, chatted a bit more, and seeing that it was getting late, Jiang Xue planned to say goodbye and head ho.
When Mu Qiancheng heard Jiang Xue was going to leave, he naturally didn’t feel comfortable letting her go alone, so he asked for leave, intending to take her ho.

"It’s fine, I’ll be careful. But you all have to be careful, too, those wild boar groups can be hard to handle." Jiang Xue wasn’t concerned and gave Mu Qiancheng so advice before heading back to the village alone.
As it got later, the mountains beca deserted, but Jiang Xue wasn’t scared and walked alone back to the village.
When she returned to the village, it was still not dark yet. Seeing her back, the elderly at ho were imdiately relieved.
After briefly asking Jiang Xue about her eting with Mu Qiancheng, they went about their respective tasks.
As for Jiang Xue, she had missed her son all afternoon, so she took him from Mrs. Jiang and brought him into the room.

Jiang Xue agreed verbally, but she didn’t go back to her room, instead, she followed Mu Siwu, heading together to the courtyard gate.
