Speaking of which, Housekeeper Lin had not been ho for decades just to accompany him.
Whenever he thought about this, he felt sorry for Housekeeper Lin.
"Did you co alone?" Jiang Xue asked again, feeling uneasy about Mr. Mu coming alone at his old age.
"No, a security officer accompanied . But I let him find his own place to stay, so don’t worry."
Jiang Xue felt relieved to hear that Mr. Mu had soone to escort him here.
After chatting for a while, seeing that Mr. Mu seed tired, Jiang Xue arranged for him to rest.
Once Mr. Mu went to rest, Mu Siwu finally ca out of the room. Jiang Xue looked at him apologetically and said, "Dad, I’m sorry!"
"You didn’t do anything wrong!" Mu Siwu knew what Jiang Xue wanted to say and waved it off. He didn’t bla Jiang Xue for keeping Mr. Mu there, though he resented him, Mr. Mu was still his father.
Seeing that Mu Siwu wasn’t blaming her, Jiang Xue said, "Thank you, Dad!"
Even though she hadn’t done anything wrong, Jiang Xue was still quite worried that Mu Siwu would bla her. After all, he was her elder, and so decisions were not hers to make.
However, given the relationship between Mu Siwu and Mr. Mu, Jiang Xue had no choice but to decide on her own.
"It’s fine, your mom and I will go for a walk." Mu Siwu waved his hand again and then went out with Bai Yuhua.
He was in low spirits and needed so fresh air. Besides, he didn’t want to live under the sa roof with Mr. Mu at all.
So after going out, he directly told Bai Yuhua, "Old lady, let’s tell Xue’er that we’re moving back to our own house."
The house Jiang Xue had bought for them had everything they needed, and it had been cleaned just a few days ago. They could move in right away.
Now that Mr. Mu staying had beco a fact, he had to face him every day. But the less they t, the better.
During the day it was fine, he could go out to avoid him. But at night? So, after so thought, he decided it was better to live in his house, which was more convenient.
"Alright, I’ll listen to you." Bai Yuhua didn’t oppose because, given her understanding of Mu Siwu, there might be a day when they’d clash with Mr. Mu, so keeping so distance would be best.
"Then it’s decided, we’ll tell Xue’er when we get back."
The couple walked around the neighborhood for a bit and then returned. Upon returning ho, Mu Siwu shared his thoughts with Jiang Xue, who was montarily stunned but eventually agreed.
Even though she felt there was no need, her in-laws had their considerations, so she didn’t insist.
So, that afternoon, Mu Siwu and Bai Yuhua simply packed their things and moved to their house next door.
When Mr. Mu woke up from his nap, he saw Mu Siwu and Bai Yuhua carrying their belongings and leaving, feeling instantly heartbroken. He stepped forward to block them, saying, "Siwu, if you don’t want to see , I can leave. Why do you have to go?"
As he spoke, Mr. Mu tried to leave before them, but Jiang Xue held him back, saying, "Grandpa, you’ve misunderstood."
"Xue’er, there’s no need to lie to . He is my son; I know what he thinks. Oh well, it’s my fault, I shouldn’t have co."
With a regretful look, Mr. Mu then turned to Mu Siwu and said, "I shouldn’t have co to disturb you. You stay, and I’ll leave right away."
Hearing Mr. Mu’s words, Bai Yuhua imdiately panicked and said, "Dad, you really misunderstood us. We have no intention of leaving."
