"Go on, go on!" Mr. Lu couldn’t stand his daughter’s look and waved her off. As soon as she left Mr. Lu’s office, Lu Ling went directly to the investigation departnt to inquire about Mu Qiancheng’s situation.

The police returned without bringing back Lu Ling, and had to report to their superiors. Thus, the police chief had to personally call Mr. Lu.
