Mu Qiancheng, ard with a gun, drove towards the location of the Water Monster.
At this mont, the car parked by the roadside was being shaken back and forth by the Water Monster, scaring pedestrians into taking a detour. The driver had also kept a safe distance, not daring to get close, fearing that the car might collapse at any mont.

Thus, the Water Monster, unwilling to be trapped, continued to bash the cage. It had no idea that this wasn’t actually a cage but the car itself.
At first, the Water Monster circled the car, trying to find a weak spot to break through. However, after a full look around, it found nothing.
So, it stopped searching, deciding to hit each side of the car to test the effect.
First, it ramd the side near the car’s front, with no reaction. Then it moved to the left side and ramd again.
The impact made the car body start to sway. Seeing this, the Water Monster felt encouraged and ramd again, making the car shake even more violently. Because it hit consecutively, the car seed as if it would topple over.
The driver, who had been keeping an eye on the car’s movents, was startled by this scene. Quickly realizing the creature might have broken out of the cage, he hurriedly called the person in charge.
The person in charge received the call while en route. Hearing that the monster’s cage might have been broken, he imdiately tensed up, asking, "What’s the situation now? Has the creature already escaped?"
At this point, the person in charge was very concerned that if the monster escaped again, it could injure soone, which would be a huge problem. He was already carrying the weight of three lost lives and didn’t wish to bear anymore, as it would end his career.

At this mont, Mu Qiancheng was just two traffic lights away from the Water Monster’s location, about five minutes from arriving.
