However, Mu Qiancheng had one condition, and that was that they had to act as guides.
The five siblings imdiately agreed to be guides upon hearing that Mu Qiancheng was willing to help them rescue their parents. They had grown up in these mountains and were very familiar with every plant and tree in the area.
If it weren’t for their previous good deed of saving soone, which led to bringing the wolf into the house, they would still be living well in the forest.
"Then you lead the way!" Mu Qiancheng said to the eldest of the five siblings. Although he was sowhat doubtful of their words, Mu Qiancheng decided to take a gamble.
"Zero One, could this be too risky?" Watching the wild man walking at the forefront, Chen Ming asked worriedly.
"If we can quickly find the hideout of those terrorists, the risk is worth it. However, just to be safe, you stay at the rear with so people, and don’t follow too closely. If anything cos up, I’ll signal you."
"This?" Chen Ming hesitated for a mont and said, "Why don’t I take so people to follow them, and you stay at the rear?"
"No need, that’s the decision. I’ll follow, you take so people and stay back. But be cautious."
"Alright, you be careful too." Chen Ming knew Mu Qiancheng had made up his mind, so he said no more. Instead, he picked eight or nine brothers to follow him.
Mu Qiancheng watched as his group split into two teams, nodded slightly at Chen Ming, and led the remaining people to follow the five wild people into the depths of the forest.
The ones left behind looked at each other in confusion. Only after Mu Qiancheng’s group had gone far did they ask Chen Ming, "Zero Two, what are we staying here for?"
"Don’t ask so much, check your weapons properly. We’ll be setting out soon." Chen Ming said flatly. After instructing them, he waited until Mu Qiancheng’s group had disappeared completely, then said to his brothers, "Let’s go!"
The brothers asked no more questions, following the path Mu Qiancheng’s group had taken.
The wild people moved quickly, and Mu Qiancheng’s group could barely keep up. Eventually, they managed to catch up, but everyone was panting heavily.
"How much longer until we get there?" Seeing his brothers quite exhausted, Mu Qiancheng asked.
"Almost there, we’ve walked about half the distance." The wild leader said, but it made Mu Qiancheng frown. "Are we going the wrong way? If we keep going, we’ll pass through the core area."
"Don’t worry, Boss, we won’t deceive you." The wild woman, who had been silent all this ti, spoke up. For so reason, her heart raced every ti she saw Mu Qiancheng. She used to think her brothers were the most handso, but eting Mu Qiancheng made her realize they paled in comparison.
"Is that so?" Mu Qiancheng responded indifferently, but in his heart, he was secretly vigilant. He worried that these wild people were spies for the terrorists, deliberately luring them in.
If that were the case, he wouldn’t hesitate to kill them right away.
Perhaps sensing the murderous intent emanating from Mu Qiancheng, the wild woman beca fearful. The little affection she had developed for Mu Qiancheng vanished without a trace.
At this mont, she realized that Mu Qiancheng and his group were not naïve rabbits. Their ruthlessness might surpass those who captured her parents.
The others also sensed Mu Qiancheng’s murderous intent, and fear crept into their hearts, silencing them all.
