"Dad, how is he?" Luo Lan asked imdiately when she saw Luo Feng release Mu Qiancheng’s hand.
Before, she had felt his pulse and knew Mu Qiancheng’s condition wasn’t good. She just wasn’t sure if carrying him back had worsened his internal injuries.
"He’s okay, his heart vein isn’t damaged," Luo Feng said as he ordered Luo Lan, "Bring the needles!"
Luo Lan quickly handed the silver needles from the dicine box to Luo Feng, who took them and started pricking Mu Qiancheng’s body directly.
After finishing with a hundred and eight silver needles, Luo Feng had sweat beads forming on his forehead.
"Dad, you’ve worked hard!" Luo Lan said as she brought over a towel to personally wipe Luo Feng’s sweat. After wiping, Luo Feng moved aside, wrote a prescription, and handed it to Luo Lan, saying, "Grab so dicine and brew it to bring over."
"Okay!" Luo Lan took the prescription and went to fetch the dicine. anwhile, Luo Feng started removing the silver needles from Mu Qiancheng’s body and bandaged his wounds.
An hour later, Luo Lan had brewed the dicine, and together with her father, they made Mu Qiancheng take it.
"Lan’er, we’ve done our best. Whether he wakes up depends on his fate," Luo Feng said, looking at Mu Qiancheng.
Honestly, Mu Qiancheng’s internal injuries were severe, and he didn’t hold much hope for him waking up. He thought Mu Qiancheng becoming a ’Living Dead’ was more likely.
Of course, he didn’t share this thought with Luo Lan, fearing she might do sothing reckless.
"Dad, I understand." Luo Lan nodded, then left the room with her father.
At this mont, in the forest, Jiang Xue noticed the sky was getting darker, and her stomach was grumbling with hunger. She began bargaining with the Big Tiger again, saying, "Brother Tiger, it’s getting dark. Aren’t you hungry? How about I go out and find you sothing to eat?"
The Big Tiger opened its eyes and glanced at Jiang Xue. At this late hour, it wouldn’t go out to hunt; what food could a human like Jiang Xue find?
Seeing the Big Tiger unmoved, Jiang Xue continued, "Brother Tiger, aren’t you hungry? I’m starving."
At this point, the Big Tiger slowly stood up and walked towards Jiang Xue. Seeing it approach, Jiang Xue’s heart was on edge, secretly wondering if it was going to eat her.
Just as she was thinking this, the Big Tiger had arrived in front of Jiang Xue, raising its head. At this mont, Jiang Xue had already channeled spiritual power into her hands, ready to confront the Big Tiger at any mont.
Unexpectedly, the Big Tiger made no move; instead, it looked her over from head to toe, glanced at her grumbling stomach, then cast her a ’follow ’ look.
However, Jiang Xue didn’t understand the Big Tiger’s look, so she stood there in a daze.
After giving Jiang Xue a look, the Big Tiger headed deeper into the cave. After a few steps, seeing Jiang Xue hadn’t followed, it turned back to look at her, shook its head as if signaling her to follow.
Seeing the Big Tiger shake its head and move forward again, Jiang Xue finally understood a bit and asked, "Brother Tiger, are you asking to follow you?"
The Big Tiger couldn’t speak, nor did it answer Jiang Xue; it simply snorted lightly and continued walking forward.
Jiang Xue watched and followed. Indeed, hearing her footsteps, the Big Tiger didn’t stop again. The cave wasn’t very deep, and one tiger and one human soon reached the end.
