If Jiang Xue is gone, as the Guardian God within the space, it would also disappear. And it doesn’t want to die so soon — it hasn’t lived enough yet.
With this in mind, Little Fox couldn’t help but shout to Jiang Xue: "Woman, watch out!"
Little Fox’s shout echoed in her mind. Jiang Xue finally ca to her senses, and seeing the Big Tiger pouncing toward her, she slipped into the space.
The Big Tiger lost its target and was extrely angry. Turning its head, it saw Little Fox still standing nearby, and imdiately redirected its attention towards it.
Little Fox never expected that the Big Tiger would charge at it. After being slightly startled, it quickly reacted, leaping to avoid it.
Dare to dodge?
The Big Tiger was furious. One had vanished, and another dared to dodge, which infuriated it. Hence, it roared again and lunged at Little Fox.
Seeing the Big Tiger looking like it wouldn’t give up until it devoured him, Little Fox regretted it greatly. Had it known, it wouldn’t have given Big Tiger the idea just to teach Jiang Xue a lesson.
Regret aside, it had to get through this hurdle now. Its body was agile; it’s not easy for the Big Tiger to catch or eat it.
However, dodging continuously was not a solution. Moreover, seeing Little Fox dodge its attacks again and again, the Big Tiger’s anger grew stronger,
Then it bared its teeth, glared with its eyes, swung its tail, and with a push of its hind legs leaped at Little Fox.
Little Fox stood still, no longer dodging. It didn’t want to dodge anymore and had decided to take this chance to subdue Big Tiger lest it turns feral and starts thinking about eating people.
Seeing that Little Fox wasn’t dodging, the Big Tiger was secretly pleased, thinking it could catch and eat it now.
However, it rejoiced too soon. Just as it was about to pounce on Little Fox, Little Fox made its move. With a raise and flick of its paw, a gust of wind swept in, surprising the Big Tiger. Its action of pouncing on Little Fox halted abruptly, and then it stepped back, watching it warily.
The Big Tiger could hardly believe that Little Fox had such strength that just a flick of its paw forced it to retreat.
"Roar, roar, roar!" The Big Tiger roared at Little Fox. The tiger’s roar was clearly heard even by Jiang Xue within the space.
Hearing the roar, Jiang Xue felt the Big Tiger’s reluctance, irritation, and anger. She knew it might be that Little Fox and the Big Tiger were confronting each other. She wanted to go out and enjoy the spectacle, but didn’t dare, fearing she would beco collateral damage.
Even though she didn’t go out, Jiang Xue was equally tense. She was afraid Little Fox might not be able to beat the Big Tiger, and also worried Little Fox might thrash the Big Tiger too harshly.
Neither the Big Tiger nor Little Fox knew about Jiang Xue’s worries. At this mont, the tiger and the fox were confronting each other, wide eyes staring into wide eyes.
"Cunning thing!" The Big Tiger looked at Little Fox angrily, saying hatefully.
"Brother Tiger, if you say that about Little Brother, it makes sad. You should know, it was you who attacked Little Brother first; otherwise, how would Little Brother retaliate?"
"Hmph, sweet talk. You and that woman are in cahoots." The Big Tiger snorted coldly and lunged at Little Fox once more.
This ti, Little Fox didn’t wait in place. It turned slightly, then, as the Big Tiger lunged forward, raised its paw again.
