With a bang, the assassin crashed hard onto the ground, then spat out a mouthful of blood. Looking up, the assassin stared at Jiang Xue, his gaze filled with hatred.
He never expected Jiang Xue to be so formidable, even more formidable than Mu Qiancheng. At this mont, he was filled with regret. Had he known this, he would never have taken the job.

Watching Mu Qiancheng’s actions, a smile appeared on Jiang Xue’s face. She knew Mu Qiancheng was worried the assassin might be faking his injuries. Now with his arm dislocated, even if the assassin wanted to do sothing, he couldn’t.
The assassin glared hatefully at Mu Qiancheng’s back, seething with rage, yet helpless. Jiang Xue had already beaten him severely, and now that Mu Qiancheng had dislocated his arm, he couldn’t even move.
Jiang Xue saw the assassin’s expression and let out a cold laugh, saying, "Of all the things you could do, you chose to be an assassin. Now that you’ve fallen into my hands, you have only yourself to bla."

"So what? If I can catch you, I can catch others too. Besides, your employer is currently lying in the hospital," Jiang Xue said carelessly, infuriating the assassin to the point of wanting to spit blood.
Originally, he thought even if he couldn’t kill Jiang Xue, at least he could scare her. However, he hadn’t expected her to react this way. Moreover, from Jiang Xue’s words, his employer seed to have ended up in the hospital.

The police station had soone on duty, and after receiving the call, they arrived quickly. As they ca, they also saw the rope hanging from Jiang Xue’s window down the building. This made them more convinced of Mu Qiancheng and Jiang Xue’s account.
When the police took the assassin away, Mu Qiancheng specifically told them, "He is an assassin with many cases on him. Make sure to investigate thoroughly after you bring him back."
The arriving police officer happened to know Mu Qiancheng and naturally didn’t doubt his words. So after taking the assassin back to the police station, they locked him in a rather special room.
Gazing at the small room where he was confined, the assassin was filled with fury. Initially, he thought that with his skills, even if he got to the police station, getting out would be easy.
Unexpectedly, the police put him in a black room. This room had no windows, only a door, and it was locked from the outside, making it impossible for him to open it from the inside.
The more he thought about it, the more frustrated the assassin beca, cursing out loud. After a long while, he finally stopped and began thinking of ways to escape.
