Qian Er listened to the pleas of his n, his face looking grim. After all, they were his subordinates, and he couldn’t just sit back and do nothing.

"What, so soon?" Wang Jun was taken aback. He thought the assassin wouldn’t act for at least a couple of days, but unexpectedly, they made a move last night.
"How are you? Were you hurt?" Wang Jun asked with concern. After all, he now considered himself one of Jiang Xue’s people, so it made sense to be concerned for her.
"I’m fine. My husband was ho, so they didn’t gain any advantage."
"Glad you’re okay. I get what you’re saying; I won’t entertain any more pleas from anyone."
"Alright, if that’s the case, I won’t say more."
Jiang Xue finished her words and hung up the call. After hanging up, Wang Jun’s face was slightly grim. He initially thought the old n in those families would escalate their illness, prompting them to do sothing, such as canceling orders, but unexpectedly, they did nothing.
