Is this even possible? Jiang Xue glanced at the box, then once again gave it a hard twist. With a snap, the box actually opened.
As soon as the box opened, a burst of golden light shot out from it, nearly blinding the faces of the couple.
"What’s so bright in there?" Mu Qiancheng asked while shielding his eyes with his hand. If there were a person inside the box, they would have been done for just a mont ago.
"I don’t know, take a look!" Jiang Xue said as she removed her hand and looked into the box. She also wanted to know what on earth could be so dazzling.
Peering inside, the couple’s eyes imdiately widened. My God, what did they see? Gold bricks. Previously, Jiang Xue had seen gold bars on TV. But, compared to the gold bricks in front of them, those were nothing.
"Gold, gold bricks?" Mu Qiancheng stamred as he looked at the box full of gold bricks. Damn, in his whole life, this was the first ti he had seen gold, and so much of it.
"Qiancheng, we’ve struck it rich!" Jiang Xue was excited, no wonder she couldn’t move it earlier.
"We’re rich indeed!" Mu Qiancheng laughed, looking at his little wife with her greedy expression, his eyes full of tenderness.
The Little Fox also knew the box had been opened, and upon learning it was gold bricks, felt a bit disappointed. It had sensed a mysterious power inside the box, how could it just be gold bricks?
Could there be a hidden compartnt in the box? Otherwise, where would that mysterious power co from? Surely not from the gold bricks, right?
The Little Fox pondered this while saying to Jiang Xue, "Woman, check if the box has a hidden compartnt?"
Hearing this, Jiang Xue was taken aback, then she carefully examined the box, knocking on it, but found nothing, shaking her head, she said, "Nope!"
"Xue’er, what are you looking for?" Mu Qiancheng asked curiously, looking at his little wife. Hearing his voice, Jiang Xue snapped back to reality, then said sowhat sheepishly, "I wanted to see if there was a hidden compartnt?"
After speaking, Jiang Xue inwardly blad herself for being too careless, forgetting Mu Qiancheng was by her side. If Mu Qiancheng knew she was talking to the Little Fox, who knows how he would react.
However, for now, she didn’t want Mu Qiancheng to know the Little Fox could talk, to avoid scaring him.
Mu Qiancheng glanced at Jiang Xue, then knocked on the box, trying to judge by the sound. After listening for a while, he shook his head and said, "There shouldn’t be a hidden compartnt!"
"Never mind, if there’s none, there’s none." Jiang Xue wasn’t in a hurry either, after all, the box was already in her hands, she could search slowly.
Now, however, she was worried about how she and Mu Qiancheng would get back. She didn’t have her phone and couldn’t contact anyone.
As for Mu Qiancheng, he probably didn’t have a phone on him either. As for his n, they might have already returned to the base by now.
Thinking of this, Jiang Xue felt a bit overwheld. They couldn’t possibly stay here in the ocean forever, unless a ship passed by, leaving would be a pipe dream.
But if they had to wait for a ship, who knows how long that would take.
"Xue’er, what’s wrong?" Sensing Jiang Xue’s low mood, Mu Qiancheng asked with concern.
"Qiancheng, I’m thinking about how we’re going to leave here later." Jiang Xue looked at Mu Qiancheng with a worried expression.
She wasn’t concerned about anything else, just worried about the elderly at ho fretting. Mu Qiancheng being able to find her ant that her parents discovered she was missing and notified him.
But if they didn’t return for a long ti, her parents would definitely be even more worried.
