"Alright!" Niu replied with a smile, then washed her hands and got to work. Jiang Xue glanced at her, noting her agile movents and the pretty buns she wrapped. She felt reassured, chatting as she worked.
Together, they quickly wrapped thirty-so small buns and set them over the steam. In another pot, porridge was simring.
Jiang Xue was cooking plain porridge, the kind with nothing added. Niu looked at it and said with a smile, "Madam, when I cook porridge in the future, I’ll add so ingredients. You all wouldn’t mind, right?"
