Mu Qiancheng felt the gaze falling on him and Jiang Xue, and his whole deanor turned cold. Yet unknowingly, his icy aura drew even more attention from those around.
As the eyes upon them grew in number, Mu Qiancheng’s expression grew increasingly grim. And at this mont, soone lacking awareness stepped forward to chat.
"Handso guy, which class are you in?"
"Pretty girl, how about making friends?"
A man and a woman respectively approached the couple, one wanting to et Mu Qiancheng, the other Jiang Xue.
Upon hearing this, the air around Mu Qiancheng beca even colder, and his knife-like gaze fell on the two, with a low growl: "Get lost!"
The single word "get lost" frightened off the two attempting to chat, and successfully deterred others who wished to approach. Jiang Xue felt a bit awkward seeing Mu Qiancheng angry, and quickly pulled him towards her own class.
Business Administration Departnt, Class 3 of Level 98, was the class the school had assigned to Jiang Xue. Yesterday, the two had roughly figured out the direction, so they quickly found the building and the class Jiang Xue was supposed to join.
Since it was breakfast ti, there weren’t many people in the classroom. Upon seeing Jiang Xue and Mu Qiancheng, the few in the class were first stunned by their looks before stepping forward to ask: "Classmates, who are you looking for?"
Jiang Xue looked at the boy who spoke, smiled, and said: "I’m Jiang Xue, a student of this class."
"Jiang Xue?" The boy was startled and said: "You’re new, aren’t you?"
"Yes, do you know where there’s an empty seat?"
The male classmate pointed to the last row and said: "The back row is empty, sit wherever you like."
"Thank you!" Jiang Xue thanked him and walked to the last row. Mu Qiancheng, holding the books, followed her. After seeing her choose a seat and sit down, he said to her: "I’ll co and pick you up in the afternoon."
"Alright, my classes end at five-thirty in the afternoon, don’t co too early," Jiang Xue reminded him, worried that Mu Qiancheng would arrive early and have to wait outside.
"Alright, I got it!" Mu Qiancheng replied, then gave a warning glance at the male classmates in Jiang Xue’s class, before leaving.
Once Mu Qiancheng left, the male classmates in the class finally felt alive again, and walked over to Jiang Xue to greet her.
"Hey beautiful classmate, why are you starting school so late? We’ve already had our midterm exams."
"Yeah, beautiful, are you a transfer student? We’ve never seen you before, which school were you attending before?"
"Classmate, if you need any help feel free to ask, I’m class president Liu Yiming."
"Hi, classmate, I’m Wang Qingsheng."
"Hi, classmate, I’m Qian Wei."
A few boys gathered around Jiang Xue, chatting non-stop, leaving Jiang Xue speechless, until more classmates ca in and it got a little better.
However, the incoming classmates also noticed Jiang Xue, leading to another round of questions. Jiang Xue briefly introduced herself and then took out her textbook.
Seeing her action, everyone dispersed, though their gaze occasionally turned back to her, accompanied by quiet discussions.
"The new pretty classmate is truly beautiful, even prettier than the school beauty. I’ve decided she’ll be my goddess from now on."
"With Jiang Xue here, Liu ii won’t be the class flower anymore."
"That’s for sure, both the departnt flower and school flower might need replacents. Not to ntion, her noble aura makes her look like a refined lady."
