Although she was kicked out by Lan Chen last Friday, she still wanted to create an illusion that their relationship was going well.
She didn’t want to lose Lan Chen as a boyfriend, and she didn’t dare to lose him. Her gaze swept across the room, and she quickly spotted Lan Chen, so she carried her al and walked toward him.
Initially, a few guys were sitting with Lan Chen, but when they saw Luo Weiwei approaching, they all left one by one.
Seeing Luo Weiwei sit down across from him, Lan Chen slightly frowned and then said, "Weiwei, let’s eat separately from now on, okay?"
He still wanted to pursue Jiang Xue. If Jiang Xue found out that Luo Weiwei was his girlfriend and spent ti with him every day, she definitely wouldn’t agree.
So, in order to win over Jiang Xue, he could only temporarily wrong Luo Weiwei.
Hearing this, Luo Weiwei’s face imdiately changed. She looked at Lan Chen with a sorrowful expression and asked, "Why? We have classes during the day and only have ti to be together during als. Are you not willing to even give that ti? Are we still a couple?"
"Weiwei, be good, don’t throw a tantrum, okay? Of course we’re still a couple. I’m just a bit stressed lately and afraid we might argue, so I thought so space might help. Don’t overthink it," Lan Chen found an excuse to comfort Luo Weiwei.
Although he wasn’t interested in Luo Weiwei anymore, it hadn’t reached the point of breaking up. Who knows, maybe one day, on a whim, he’d still want to be with her.
"Am I throwing a tantrum?" Luo Weiwei beca more and more upset and said to Lan Chen, "Do you know how long it’s been since we’ve been together? Lan Chen, do you think our relationship still feels like we’re a couple?"
"How could it not be? Ask anyone, who doesn’t know you’re my girlfriend?" Lan Chen frowned, feeling that Luo Weiwei was being unreasonable.
Their relationship was known throughout the school. Before he officially called it off, they were definitely still a couple, and that wouldn’t change.
"But we..." Luo Weiwei wanted to say more, but Lan Chen didn’t give her the chance. He stood up with his al and said, "That’s it. I’m full. I’m leaving first."
After speaking, he really left. Luo Weiwei opened her mouth, wanting to call him back, but didn’t know what she could say once he returned.
In the end, she closed her mouth, lowered her head, and ate her al alone. But the food was tasteless as if she were chewing wax.
She knew that there was a problem between her and Lan Chen, and it was on Lan Chen’s side, but she had no way to resolve it. Every ti she took the initiative to find him, he showed an impatient look.
What should I do? What can I do?
Luo Weiwei ate her al while pondering this question. Unfortunately, even after she was full, she still hadn’t thought of a solution.
So, she glanced at the still mostly uneaten al and gave a bitter smile.
Jiang Xue was also eating in the cafeteria and was completely unaware of Luo Weiwei’s unpleasant encounter with Lan Chen earlier. She was eating while thinking about what the teacher taught in the morning.
Even though her mory was good, she often reviewed material the teacher had covered to rember it more firmly and deeply.
Once she had gone over what the teacher said, she happened to finish her al. So, she picked up her bowl to wash it, only to run into the person she least wanted to see.
