Luo Weiwei was initially dismissive, but by the end, she was nodding repeatedly. This was indeed a good plan—if successful, Jiang Xue would probably have no face to stay at Nan University.
"Senior, what do you think of my idea?" Liu ii asked with a smile after she finished speaking.
"Not bad, if this succeeds, I will definitely reward you well." Luo Weiwei smiled, clearly in a good mood.
It was evident that Liu ii’s idea was very appealing to her.
"Then thank you in advance, Senior. I also wish you every success." Liu ii also smiled and pretended to offer congratulations.
Luo Weiwei was extrely pleased, patted Liu ii’s shoulder, and then turned to leave. Watching her back, Liu ii felt quite smug.
She thought to herself: Jiang Xue, you’re going to be in big trouble soon.
After eating, Jiang Xue returned to the classroom, completely unaware of Liu ii and Luo Weiwei’s sche against her. When she returned to the classroom and saw that no one was there, Jiang Xue took out her phone and called Mu Qiancheng.
Truth be told, ever since Mu Qiancheng went to Beijing, he rarely called. Even when he did, he kept it brief, always sounding very busy.
Although Jiang Xue was not pleased about this, she could understand. After all, Mu Qiancheng went there to study, not to have fun.
With a heavy study load and tight schedule, she understood. Still, even so, she wanted to hear more of Mu Qiancheng’s voice. So whenever she had ti, she would call him, even if it was just to say one sentence—it made her happy.
The call connected, and Mu Qiancheng’s voice ca through: "Xue’er, have you had lunch?"
"Yes, I have. How about you?" Jiang Xue nodded and asked.
"I have too, and I’m about to take a nap. This afternoon, I have a field exercise that will take about ten days. I might not have ti to call you while I’m out, so don’t worry."
The two shared updates about their lives, reluctantly ending the call. After hanging up, classmates returned, bringing back the classroom’s liveliness.
Jiang Xue found the classroom a bit noisy, so she didn’t stay long. She grabbed her books and left. After she left, Liu ii approached Liu Yiming and said, "Class monitor, can I discuss sothing with you?"
"What is it?" Liu Yiming asked flatly. He didn’t like Liu ii, so he never treated her warmly. For so reason, Liu ii seed oblivious to this and always found excuses to approach him.
"Have we submitted our class’s program for next Friday’s school anniversary?" Liu ii was used to Liu Yiming’s indifference, so she pretended not to notice.
Moreover, she had a legitimate reason for approaching Liu Yiming today—she planned to register Jiang Xue for the anniversary program and team up with Luo Weiwei to embarrass Jiang Xue in front of the entire school.
"Not yet. Why, do you want to perform?" Liu Yiming glanced at Liu ii and asked flatly. Every class was required to have a program for next Friday’s anniversary, and Class 983 already had volunteers, but Liu ii wasn’t among them.
He had asked before, and Liu ii had said she wasn’t going to participate—so why inquire about it today?
"I’m thinking about it." Liu ii replied calmly, then added, "Class monitor, can you show the program list? Don’t worry, I’ll give it back after I look at it. If you’re busy, I can handle the registration and submit it to the student council."
