“I think it’s better to have a look for peace of mind.” Shangguan Furong took the gift box and began to open the packaging.
Zhao Yashu didn’t mind.
As the wrapping came off, a triumphant light shone in Shangguan Furong’s eyes.
“I told you this was a fake!”
“We haven’t even checked it out yet, how do you know it’s a fake?” Zhao Yashu curiously queried.
Shangguan Furong continued, “Auntie, I also went to the Ice Crystal Skin Care store this morning. I wasn’t that lucky, I didn’t get the newly-launched product. But my best friend who came with me did. Although these two gift boxes have the same exterior, their contents are pletely different. Look at this rose essential oil. My friend’s outer packaging is green, but this one is red! Same with the seaweed facial mask. The real mask es in a white package, but you have a gold one.”
Shangguan Furong observed very carefully!
This gift box was poles apart from the ones sold in the store.
Zhao Yashu said, “Maybe they changed the packaging. Furong, you can’t declare something is fake just because the packaging is different. Check for a security label first.”
Zhao Yashu is quite fond of Ice Crystal Skin Care. She didn’t manage to get their latest product this morning and had been feeling bummed. Suddenly a surprise gift appeared, but now it was alleged to be a fake. It was quite a rollercoaster for her.
What a joke this was!
Shangguan Furong picked up the rose essential oil — the most expensive item in the gift box — and held its packaging under the light for a closer look.
After a while, she could see the letters ‘NY’ gradually appear under the light and start to brighten.
This was the unique security label of Ice Crystal Skin Care. The technology used was so advanced that no one could currently replicate it on the market.
The grin on Shangguan Furong’s face froze.
It was real!
The Ice Crystal Skin Care product was genuine!

Why then did its packaging differ from the others?
Zhao Yashu cried out in surprise, “This, this is the Supreme Edition!”
“Supreme Edition? What does that mean?” Shangguan Furong asked, ing out of her shock.
Zhao Yashu explained, “Supreme Edition means it’s a luxury version! The Ice Crystal Skin Care membership card explains in detail. The Supreme Edition is even rarer than the Limited Edition. If there are 30 units of the Limited Edition, there will only be 3 of the Supreme Edition!”
Shangguan Furong had never read the membership card details carefully before, nor had she ever bought a Supreme Edition product, so she had no clue about this.
“Auntie, how did you know it’s a Supreme Edition?” she challenged.
“Look here!” Zhao Yashu pointed to the front of the security label, “The label has ‘Supreme’ printed on it! Who on earth is Daya to get hold of cosmetic products of the Supreme Edition! I’ve wanted to buy it for a long time but never managed to!”
Beauty lover Zhao Yashu was absolutely ecstatic!

The elderly Madam Shangguan was a bit lost, “So, is this real or fake?”
Zhao Yashu laughed, “Of course it’s real! Moreover, it’s the most difficult kind to find! Besides, who would give fake goods as gifts? That’s like shooting oneself in the foot.”
The elderly Madam Shangguan nodded repeatedly, “I told you, Daya is not that kind of person!”
“Sister-in-law, who exactly is Daya?” Zhao Yashu was bursting with curiosity!
How e this person can give away something she herself, who is from a wealthy family, can’t even buy? And two boxes at that!
