Cannot?
Is the elder Ji teaching Haowu?
When they heard this, the eyes of those wealthy families lit up.
After all, Haowu’s actions had already crossed their bottom line. If they could punish Haowu, they naturally wanted to see it happen.
But before their joyful smiles could unfold, the elder laughed and spread his hands: "But now, Haowu is a disciple of the Xuantian Sect. He has not been mine for so ti, so whatever he does, I cannot stop him!"
"You..."
When the steward heard this, he was furious, but he was at a loss for words.
Wu Hao, seeing everyone speechless and helpless, imdiately let out a rampant laugh aid at Lin Shan.
The Xuantian Sect was his reliance and his strongest card.
With this card, who could act against him?
"You still haven’t answered my question!"
Just then, a chilling voice suddenly sounded, and Wu Hao’s laughter abruptly stopped.
He had forgotten that while all these people feared the Xuantian Sect—and by extension feared him—one person was an exception.
That was Yang Tian, seated in the chair.
As Yang Tian gestured with one hand, Wu Hao couldn’t help but be drawn toward him, his neck gripped tightly.
"You... What do you want?"
Haowu stamred in terror, "Let tell you! I possess a rare Five Elents power. Deng Bingqiu is nothing compared to the Emperor and his disciples who withdrew alongside him! The Xuantian Sect is far stronger than them. You had better release , or else..."
Swish!
Haowu didn’t finish his sentence before Yang Tian moved his hand slightly. One of Haowu’s legs fell to the ground, yet strangely, there was no trace of blood.
Yang Tian’s faint smile remained, as if what just occurred was an insignificant matter.
Ah!!!
A horrific scream instantly rang through the Emperor Dragon Villa. Everyone stared at Haowu, struggling in Yang Tian’s grasp, and at the strange severed leg lying on the ground—without a single trace of blood. Their skin crawled.
Though many of them ca from prestigious families of the secular world, even when handling disputes, they would usually delegate such matters to their staff.
Who had ever witnessed anything like Yang Tian, dealing with Haowu himself, dismbering a leg with his bare hands?
Even so of the won present, terrified by the grisly scene, scread aloud.
Only Lin Shan watched Haowu without blinking, her eyes filled with hatred.
"You... How dare you?! How dare you? I am a disciple of the Xuantian Sect! Under the heavens... The Xuantian Sect is a leader among ancient martial schools! You... How dare you do this to ?" Wu Hao stamred, looking at Yang Tian incredulously.
He never imagined Yang Tian’s strength would be so overwhelming—surpassing even the Divine Level might of elder Deng Bingqiu—yet Yang Tian’s slap had sent him flying.
Still, Wu Hao wasn’t truly scared. After all, he had the backing of the Xuantian Sect, a formidable force.
After witnessing the existence of countless powerful figures within the Xuantian Sect, Wu Hao naturally believed that no matter how strong Yang Tian might be, he wouldn’t dare offend the Xuantian Sect overly much. The Xuantian Sect, a mystical and ancient martial school hidden from the secular world, stood unchallengeable.
But he didn’t know Yang Tian.
Yang Tian cultivated the ways of the Devil and followed his own rules.
And on this day, such a place could never incite fear in Yang Tian. Absolutely not.
Thus, Wu Hao’s threats that worked for others held absolutely no power over Yang Tian.
Yang Tian heard Haowu’s words but did not respond. With another movent, Haowu’s other leg fell to the ground.
Through his actions, Yang Tian demonstrated his audacity. He utterly dismissed the Xuantian Sect.
As another scream rang out, Wu Hao’s eyes filled with hatred.
Without both legs, Haowu had basically lost the possibility of advancing in martial arts.
To him, this was no different from Yang Tian destroying his entire Hao Family. Haowu felt a deep resentnt.
Before he could say another word, Yang Tian struck again, severing his arm. The severed limb fell to the ground.
With three consecutive strikes, Haowu lost both his legs and both his arms. The ruthless, inhumane spirit of Yuan Yu—a precursor to his Evil Spirit cultivation—was fully on display here.
Witnessing Yang Tian’s silent determination, Haowu finally feared for his life. As Yang Tian lifted his arm once again, Haowu was terrified.
Faced with the unbearable, systematic dismbernt of his body, against a force he could not resist, Haowu finally understood true fear.
"You... What do you want?"
Wu Hao stamred in utter terror, staring at Yang Tian.
Yang Tian did not answer, his hand still slowly rising.
"You... Release ! I’ll give you anything you want. I am a disciple of the Xuantian Sect, a mber of the Five Elents group..."
Yang Tian paid him no mind. His palm moved decisively.
"Please! Please, stop! I beg you!"
Tears stread down Wu Hao’s face as he pleaded pitifully.
Yang Tian remained unshaken. His palm moved closer to Haowu’s only remaining arm.
Realizing his final arm might soon be severed, Haowu’s eyes were filled with terror. He shouted loudly: "Ji Yanran! I know where Ji Yanran is!"
Hearing this, Yang Tian’s palm, just about to touch Haowu’s arm, finally paused. His cold gaze fell on him as he asked icily, "Where is she?"
"She’s..."
Wu Hao’s eyes t Yang Tian’s emotionless stare, and he couldn’t help but shudder. Hesitating slightly, he soon blurted out: "You... If you release first, I’ll tell you! I swear it’s true. If I die, Ji Yanran dies!"
Shaless!
Upon hearing Haowu’s words, several warriors couldn’t help but spit on the ground in disgust.
Using a woman as a bargaining chip was considered the most despicable act among martial artists.
Moreover, this woman was supposed to be Haowu’s fiancée!
Coupling this with Wu Hao’s past treatnt of Lin Wenxiang, the warriors collectively regarded him as the ultimate scum among them!
But no matter their opinions, Wu Hao ignored them entirely. Instead, he sneered coldly at Yang Tian, saying: "I know you care for Ji Yanran. But right now, Ji Yanran is in my hands. Do you have what it takes to kill ?"
"I do!"
Yang Tian replied, sending out a flicker of black sword light that directly pierced Haowu’s chest, leaving a massive bloody hole.
"You... How could you..."
Wu Hao stared at the bloody cavity in his chest, his face filled with pure disbelief.
Did Yang Tian not care about Ji Yanran? He had actually killed him? Did he not fear for Ji Yanran’s safety? Did he not want to know where Ji Yanran was?
With these frantic thoughts swirling inside him, Wu Hao clung on desperately to life, staring at Yang Tian as he shouted, "Why? Why did you dare kill ? Don’t you care if Ji Yanran dies? Don’t you care about her at all?"
"Care about her?" Who told you that I, her father, care about Ji Yanran?"
Yang Tian cast a cold glance at the dying Haowu on the ground and faintly replied, "Ji Yanran is a friend. What matters is ensuring she isn’t coerced. That is the purpose of what I’ve done here!"
"But... But if she’s your friend, shouldn’t you want to know where she is?" Wu Hao gasped weakly, confused.
Yang Tian chuckled faintly at his words, "Isn’t it obvious? She’s in the hands of the Southern Poison God. And judging by your so-called Five Elents power, it’s undoubtedly linked to that Poison God’s thods."
Poison God?
Upon hearing this, many of those present looked confused for a long ti, clearly having no idea who that referred to.
But Wu Hao couldn’t hide his enormous shock. He stared at Yang Tian, utterly unable to believe that Yang Tian had uncovered his deepest secret.
"When... When did you find out?" Wu Hao asked in reluctant disbelief.
"When?"
Yang Tian laughed contemptuously, "From the very beginning, of course. How could I not know about Lin Wenxiang’s affliction by toxic manipulation? You dared touch Lin Wenxiang without fear of poison, which naturally brought certain events from the past to mind."
