Anthony bellowed, "Have you ever heard of soone going to a café to find a doctor? What are you thinking? Besides, even if Kristen did have this so-called disease, would any doctor dare to talk about it in her presence? After all, she was sent here by Bula City’s Leader."
Hearing this, Sean was montarily stunned.
He’d been so shocked by what happened all day at the café that he hadn’t considered any flaws in the story. Now, hearing his father’s words, he realized sothing was off.
"So, was it that liar doctor who tricked ?" Sean asked.
"You idiot!"
Anthony roared again, "I’m certain Kristen lied to you, just to get you to back off! You fool, you believed her and then spouted that nonsense to Kristen!"
"Ah! She tricked ?"
Sean finally understood and was about to bolt.
"Where do you think you’re going?" Anthony roared through the screen.
"To find Kristen, of course!" Sean responded imdiately.
"Bullshit!"
Anthony bellowed again, "Get back here! Sit down! You’re out of chances, so you’re staying put and will join in the Black Great eting in a week!"
"The Black Great eting? But what about Kristen?"
Sean imdiately blurted out anxiously, "This isn’t just for you, Father. Kristen—I must get her!"
"Relax! Even without Kristen’s support, you and I will win this eting. I’ve already made arrangents! Once I beco Leader, Kristen... what are you worried about?"
Then, he let out a cold laugh.
In the blink of an eye, six days passed.
Yang Tian had been thoroughly trained. At first, what had been Long Shao’s aggressive pursuit morphed into blatant seduction.
