Boom!
The Four Immortals glared at Yang Tian’s offensive and roared as they dove down. Almost simultaneously, they clashed with Yang Tian again. You co and go, exchanging blows. Each strike of theirs was far more powerful than those focused rely on defense or offense.
At this mont, staring at Yang Tian battling the Four Immortal Souls alone, Su Youu was montarily stunned!
This ti, Yang Tian’s attacks were no longer the sa as the day before. They were incomparably fierce. Even the enduring immortal lonely souls of the mortal world couldn’t remain unaffected. Although the damage was slight, Su Youu could sense it—every punch, every palm strike of Yang Tian’s brought pain and destruction to these wandering spirits.
"What are you so stunned about?!"
As Su E stood frozen, De Hai suddenly took out a jade talisman and tossed it directly into Su E’s hands, shouting at her.
Hearing this, Su Youu’s expression shifted to one of sudden excitent. "Master, is this...?"
"Set up the disruptive array for your Teacher!"
De Hai said, pulling out another similar jade talisman. He began explaining the array formation, "God’s power has greatly increased; controlling four immortals at once is no an feat. But if you want to fully defeat four foes at the sa ti, it’ll take far too long! We’ll seize this opportunity to deliver a crushing defeat in honor of the Heavenly Country!"
"Support them?"
Su Youu’s eyes lit up as realization dawned. Finally, he understood De Hai’s intention.
From their previous battles, it was evident that these immortals had long lost the wisdom they possessed in life. They relied solely on their immortal instincts to attack, unable to truly harness their power.
That’s why even the simplest of traps could ensnare them with ease!
Su Youu imdiately pointed this out, the truth crystalizing in his mind, and quickly began sketching formations onto Pu Yu’s surface.
Monts later, De Hai and Su Youu completed their inscriptions. They started channeling Pu Yu’s energy using a precise thodical rhythm.
In the blink of an eye, a thin layer of mist began to rise all around. Clearly, the maze was now in place.
Upon seeing this, Su Youu exclaid joyfully, gazing skyward. "It’s done! The maze has been deployed!"
Seeing these changes, Yang Tian imdiately grinned and charged straight into the labyrinth.
The four solitary immortal souls on the ground, seeing Yang Tian abandon the clash and retreat, were unwilling to let him go. With surging immortal power, they delivered a flurry of blows, but Yang Tian, guarded by the overwhelming defensive might of his Devil’s Golden Body, pressed forward effortlessly, unhard, and entered the maze’s core.
"Once you’ve poured every last truth into the Emperor’s Immortal Battle Robe, resist the attacks of the Mortal World’s Lonely Souls!"
Yang Tian shouted as he dove into the chaos while simultaneously slaying four immortals outright.
De Hai and Su E, witnessing this, dared not neglect their next steps. They imdiately focused, channeling Yuan Kuang’s imnse energy into the Emperor’s Immortal Battle Robe, igniting a golden brilliance.
Boom!
The radiant golden light surged onto the Emperor’s Immortal Battle Robe. The four immortals struck again fiercely with their attacks, but they only managed to scatter golden waves into the air around De Hai and Su Youu without truly landing a blow.
Only an elite primordial brigade could withstand such an assault as De Hai and neutralize it so effectively.
"Have they... been vanquished?"
Staring at the solitary immortal souls, lifeless and devoid of divinity as they fell to the ground, Su E was dumbstruck!
After all, these were the ghosts of immortals!
What was a lonely soul?
These were remnants of Upper Realm Immortals who had fallen on this ancient battlefield eons ago. Through tens of thousands of years of evolution, they had transford into zombie-like entities with neither rationality nor magic—yet still wielding imnse immortal power!
Ordinary cultivators, even those in their robbery periods, let alone lesser tribulation cultivators, wouldn’t dare claim to be capable of killing them outright.
But Yang Tian, who was still only advancing through the latter stages of his robbery, had single-handedly slaughtered them. His strength was more dreadful than natural disasters—more terrifying than heaven’s wrath!
And yet, even this wasn’t his limit!
Before long, De Hai controlled the maze’s chard energy and unleashed yet another solitary earthly immortal soul.
Unlike the first soul Yang Tian had slain, this soul acted with more precision and displayed sharper attacks.
The ti it took Yang Tian to defeat the first lonely soul amounted to the length of an incense stick. But for this second one, Yang Tian needed only half that ti to shatter it!
When the relic of a third Mortal Immortal appeared, emanating its aura, Yang Tian raised the Demon Saber and unleashed its violent power. Within re monts, using a single Heaven and Earth strike, the lone spirit was cleaved rcilessly into the ground!
In that instant, Yang Tian stood tall amidst the heavens and the earth, radiating an aura so indomitable that it seed as though no one would dare challenge him as their supre commander.
"Focus!"
As Su Youu remained awestruck by Yang Tian’s overwhelming might, De Hai suddenly reminded him, "This is the last one!"
"Yes, Master!"
Hearing this, Su Youu jolted awake, quickly collecting himself to assist De Hai. Together, they prepared to manipulate the aerial labyrinth.
Under their control, the chaotic mist gradually evaporated, revealing what lay within.
It was the sole woman among the Four Immortals!
She was dressed in a light blue, wide-sleeved fairy gown, holding a water-blue ribbon that flowed like a serene river. The sight of her was undeniably extraordinary!
Upon seeing her, both De Hai and Su E instinctively activated the Emperor’s Immortal Battle Robe’s defense to its maximum potential!
This woman was the last remaining immortal, but she was also the only one among the Four Immortals to wield a magic weapon.
And that water-blue ribbon magic weapon possessed astonishing offensive power—a fact they had already learned in their prior encounter with her.
If not for Yang Tian’s assistance, they would likely have perished in pursuit of the Four Immortals back then.
So now, how could they dare to risk even the slightest mistake?
Yang Tian, too, recognized the difficulties posed by this woman. The mont the mist cleared, he raised his blade and bellowed, "Black Devil Slash!"
Crumble!
A black crescent moon surged forth from the Demon Saber, unleashed with devastating force toward the woman.
But as the woman saw this, she let out a sudden roar from her throat. Without hesitation, she hurled her water-blue ribbon magic weapon forward to et it head-on.
The ribbon surged with waves of celestial energy, encircling Yang Tian’s black crescent moon almost instantly.
In but a mont, the black crescent moon seed corroded. Its once-mighty force began to dissipate, collapsing entirely!
"This still isn’t enough?"
Witnessing this, De Haydon furrowed his brows.
In his eyes, Yang Tian’s strength had advanced enormously this ti. He had easily slain the three previous Three Immortals, but when faced with the magic weapon of this woman, it appeared as though he had fallen into a passive state.
However, just as that thought occurred, Yang Tian’s figure blurred and vanished on the spot, reappearing directly behind the woman.
"Demon Slayer Pierce the Soul!" The second form of Slaying Demons—breaking through the corrupted spirit!
While transitioning his movent, Yang Tian unleashed the first and second of the Ninth Demon Slayer’s styles with consecutive punches, landing squarely on the woman’s back with explosive bursts of dark energy.
Yet, the ribbon in the woman’s hand seed to possess its own consciousness.
After deflecting the black crescent moon, the ribbon autonomously cocooned the woman, emanating layers of water-blue light that shielded her entirely.
Neither the attacks targeting her corrupted spirit nor the explosive strikes could pierce through the radiant barrier—it rendered her utterly unhard.
"This is a guardian-level magic weapon!"
Seeing the ribbon magic weapon, Yang Tian finally understood why this woman, though now just a mindless ghost-like lonely immortal soul, could still activate its powers.
It turned out that this magic weapon had its own sentience to protect her, making it feel as if Yang Tian’s true opponent was not the woman—but the ribbon itself!
Realizing this, Yang Tian’s eyes glinted with clarity.
