Yang Tian casually picked up a wooden arrow, nocked it onto the bowstring, and sent it flying!

"Watch out for the roar!"

Before them, amidst the Ghost Path army, three monstrous roars resounded, followed by the collapse of three demon beasts.

"Such impressive Ten-Star ranks!"

Looking at Yang Tian again, one could see the incredible ingenuity behind the concept of Ten-Star Arrows. The boy’s face lit up with excitent as he hastily grabbed three wooden arrows and exclaid, "Out! You handle the shooting—I’ll supply the arrows. That’ll make it more efficient!"

Yang Tian took three wooden arrows handed to him, lightly furrowing his brow. He placed them on the bowstring yet didn’t imdiately release them. Instead, he glanced back at the boy.

Seeing Yang Tian hesitate, the boy quickly urged, "What are you waiting for? Hurry up!"

"Not enough," Yang Tian murmured softly.

"Not enough? What do you an?" the boy asked, visibly perplexed.

Just then, they saw Yang Tian reach into his quiver, pulling out an additional seven arrows. He placed all ten on the bowstring—three in front—and let them loose with precision.

Ah!

In an instant, the ten wooden arrows spread out like a fan. Before anyone could react, they watched as a wave of demons fell before Yang Qian. So monsters were even pinned directly to the ground by single arrows.

Witnessing this, the boy’s jaw dropped, his pupils narrowing in disbelief. He had already thought the three-arrow technique was extraordinary, but who could have imagined that Yang Ri would execute a flawless ten-arrow salvo, with double the impact!

It was said that Yang Tian’s command of the bow was unparalleled, sweeping demons aside like a scythe through wheat. His efficiency was terrifying!

And it wasn’t only the boy who noticed—others atop the wooden walls quickly recognized the marvel. Almost simultaneously, ten demons dropped in unison wherever Yang Tian’s arrows struck. The defenders stared at him in awe, nearly forgetting to return fire themselves.

Fearing that this montary distraction might lead the demon beast tide straight to the wooden walls, soone yelled a tily warning, urging the defenders to stay focused.

"Zhou Xing! Did you see that just now?"

After rallying the troops again, the commander turned to a nearby man, raising his voice to ask.

The previously confident boy now stuttered in awe, pointing a trembling finger toward Yang Tian. "It was him! I... I’m not sure I’d believe my own eyes!"

"Him? A newcor?"

The commander hadn’t expected much from Yang Tian. But after quick deliberation, he gestured toward Zhou Xingzhong and barked, "You three! Stop shooting. Your job is to supply him with arrows!"

Without another word, the commander turned to Yang Tian with sharp, assessing eyes. His voice was cold as he added, "I want ten arrows per volley!"

"Understood!"

Zhou Xingtong and the others obeyed without hesitation, rushing to Yang Tian’s side with armfuls of arrows ready to reload.

Yang Tian accepted the arrows without a hint of politeness. Grabbing those held by his three attendants, he nocked them onto his bowstring and unleashed another devastating volley.

Swish! Swish!

Arrow after arrow flew in rapid bursts, and Yang Tian’s efficiency was truly peerless. Within monts, ten more demon beasts collapsed into the dirt, lifeless.

Witnessing Yang Tian’s heroic valor, the defenders’ previous tension abated. Even their hit rates rose noticeably just from the morale boost.

For a brief mont, the overwhelming tide of demon beasts was suppressed, unable to move even an inch against the defenders’ renewed resolve!

"Well played! Well done! Seems like we might actually hold them at the wooden walls this ti—hahaha!"

Seeing the demon horde and wild beasts stalemated, the defenders cheered in waves of elation.

Yet amidst the collective excitent was a seasoned warrior, his face weathered by countless battles, who muttered grimly to himself, "It’s not over yet. Stay vigilant."

For both man and beast, the drive behind this siege was no accident of nature, but a sinister orchestration rooted within the Demon Clan hierarchy.

In their ranks, the lowest among them were Demon Warriors, their appearances reflecting primal chaos and malevolent essence.

Above them were demon soldiers, ranging upwards in title: Greater Demons, Demon Corps, Demon Child, Demon Master, Demon King, Demon Emperor, and finally, the Great Saint Disciple.

The Demon King, a figure of imasurable power, was akin to the embodint of all terror within the Nine Great Ghost Paths!

But truthfully, Demon Kings weren’t the entities most feared by seasoned defenders. In the Dead Zone, rank alone ant nothing.

Even the might of Heaven’s Rule could falter before a Demon King leading its horde.

What truly unnerved the defenders was the realization that the very presence of a Demon King galvanized the beasts into fanatical frenzy—a primal instinct to serve and obey their emperor!

Now, amidst this seemingly eternal tide of enemies, the ominous shadow of such a monstrously commanding figure lood over them.

"Quick! Hurry! There’s bound to be a Monster King among this horde. We’re all going to die—move faster!"

In a cruel twist of fate, celebratory cheers turned into anguish. A collective despair hung in the air as so fighters collapsed to their knees, too paralyzed by fear to act.

"Damn it! Stand up! Keep fighting—you want to die sitting there?!"

The commander, seeing the terror take hold, began berating those frozen in fear. His voice thundered as he attempted to rouse them back to action.

Yet the dread wrought by the Demon King was overwhelming. Fear sealed their ears and chained their souls, leaving them unwilling to wield their weapons any longer.

"No more stalling!"

The commander, frustrated beyond asure, threw down his own bow, grabbed a smaller one nearby, and started firing himself.

Not long ago, their collective might had stymied the enemy’s advance, but now it seed pitiful scattered attacks could do little to stem the tide. His eyes grew dim—overco with the grim reality of the situation.

As sobody tasked with commanding the defenders atop the wooden walls, he understood all too well: should the demon beasts breach, they’d be the first slaughtered in battle!

"Isn’t there sothing else I can do?!"

He loosed arrow after desperate arrow, retreating slightly as he looked to his left.

It was then that he thought of Yang Tian again.

Not because he believed Yang Tian could suddenly turn the tide, but because in his heart, he felt duty-bound to protect such a soldier at all costs, even if everyone else perished.

After all, Yang Tian’s incredible Ten-Star Arrow Technique had been their beacon of hope. So long as Yang Tian survived, there was hope for the next siege.

But in that mont, his thoughts scattered as he witnessed an astonishing scene before his eyes. A lone figure leaped from the wooden walls, soaring into the battlefield amidst the demon horde.

Who was that?

Was it suicide? Had soone gone mad?

The commander’s shout broke through the haze, and Zhou Xingsheng’s voice answered imdiately.

"It’s... it’s that kid! He went down—he jumped in! Oh, heavens!"

What courage!

The commander whipped his head around and saw Zhou Xingsheng staring in disbelief at the wall’s edge, the figure already gone.

It was Yang Tian!

Realizing this, anger surged in the commander’s chest, twisting his features into sothing ghastly.

He had just vowed to ensure the boy’s survival, and now Yang Tian had recklessly thrown himself into the depths of danger!

"Damn it! What is he trying to pull? Courting death?!"

Fury consud him, but so too did desperation. The commander’s gaze shot downward, searching for Yang Tian amidst the sea of chaos.

Below the wooden walls, Yang Tian charged headlong into the horde. Without a trace of hesitation, he vaulted into the fray, ard with nothing but unmatched resolve.

In that mont, none could deny the harsh truth: a lone figure diving into the devilish swarm was a sight that offered little hope for survival.
