Ye Fei?

Old Guo was visibly startled upon hearing the words of the elder with the surna Gu.

He was then filled with confusion.

It must be understood, the elder surnad Gu wasn’t like him, Old Guo—retired and done with everything!

Just from the way Mao Wen and Lu Chen, the two head and deputy commanders, stood respectfully behind the elder surnad Gu, it was evident that even though he wasn’t the Iron Blood division commander anymore, he still held considerable sway in the military!

But how could such a prominent figure be associated with Ye Fei?

Could it be that Ye Fei, as an Innate Martial King, had already alerted the military?

The more Old Guo pondered, the more plausible it seed, and the more unsettled he felt!

An Innate Martial King was terrifying in itself, but one who joined the military was even more fearso!

Yet, since things were still unclear, Old Guo imdiately asked out of curiosity, "Commander, why are you looking for Ye Fei?"

"Haha, judging by your response, it seems you, Old Guo, do indeed know that kid!"

The elder surnad Gu chuckled and said, "Initially, it wasn’t much—I had a friend who wasn’t feeling well, so I thought about looking up Shao Bing over in Yuntai, as his dical skills are quite good, and bringing my friend for a check-up. But before I could set out, I heard so news: Shao Bing, that kid, has actually taken a teacher who’s not even twenty years old!"

"That person is Ye Fei?" Old Guo asked.

"Haha! That’s right! Ridiculous, isn’t it?"

The elder surnad Gu went on, "At first, I treated it as a joke and casually investigated the kid. Turns out, the more I looked into it, the more shocked I beca—an Innate Martial King at seventeen or eighteen years old! Truly rare in this world!"

Hearing this, Old Guo imdiately understood that the matter wasn’t far from what he had imagined!

Innate Martial Kings themselves were already extrely rare; in all of China, you could count them on one hand.

Let alone soone like Ye Fei, an Innate Martial King at only seventeen or eighteen—this wasn’t a matter of being a genius or a prodigy; this was a miracle!

For such a miraculous young man to catch the eye of the military, it was only natural they’d want to utilize him.

Sure enough, the elder surnad Gu chuckled and said, "Old Guo! You really are too modest. With such talent, why didn’t you inform earlier? If I hadn’t stumbled upon this, we might have completely missed him!"

"Commander, you’re too kind. Mainly, I thought Ye Fei was still too young, so..."

Before Old Guo could finish, the elder surnad Gu waved his hand and said, "Age isn’t an issue—he can be trained gradually. In any case, this young man will definitely belong to East China!"

Belong to East China?

Upon hearing this, Old Guo frowned again.

Even if Ye Fei was an Innate Martial King, according to military regulations, he’d first need to undergo training at the lower levels.

But from the elder’s tone, he seed quite eager?

Clearly, the elder surnad Gu had anticipated Old Guo’s doubt. He patted Old Guo’s shoulder and said, "Old Guo! Have you forgotten what day next August is?"

"Next August? The military’s 90th anniversary?"

Old Guo imdiately realized!

The military’s 90th anniversary—it was a major event for the army!

And for every division, it was also a massive competition!

Under such circumstances, the elder’s urgency regarding Ye Fei, along with the accompanint of Mao Wen and Lu Chen, made perfect sense!

This ti, it seed East China aid to outshine other divisions and beco the military’s top division during the 90th anniversary!

Noticing Old Guo’s realization, the elder continued, "Looks like you’ve figured it out, Old Guo. Since you understand, could I trouble you to take us to et Ye Fei? I happen to know your Guo family has quite the relationship with him!"

Quite the relationship?

It was okay before—so okay that Ye Fei directly crippled Guo Tuan’s four limbs, pushing Old Guo to mobilize his entire family to demand justice from Ye Fei.

But now, having understood the elder’s intention, Old Guo imdiately abandoned his previous idea and quickly smiled, saying, "Commander, you’re too kind! I’ll take you to et Ye Fei right away!"

With that, Old Guo imdiately stood up, leading the elder surnad Gu outside.

Inside Purple Mist Mountain Villa.

Ye Fei was currently on the phone with Master Ma.

"Master, Miss Qianqian scored thirty points above last year’s university admission cutoff in her recent exam—it’s made the old master and mistress incredibly happy!" Master Ma said cheerfully on the other end of the call.

Upon hearing this, Ye Fei burst into laughter. "Looks like Qianqian is doing quite well—better than ! Let her know that once things settle down, I’ll reward her properly!"

"Understood, Master!"

Master Ma imdiately responded, then added, "By the way, the old master wanted to tell you that you don’t need to co back now; instead, he hopes you’ll visit Binjiang soon!"

"Visit Binjiang? Why does my dad want to go to Binjiang?" Ye Fei asked in curiosity.

"The old master said you need to go back to the Binjiang Ye Family. Apparently, your grandfather has arranged a marriage proposal for you!" Master Ma explained.

Grandfather?

Arranged a marriage proposal?

Upon hearing this, Ye Fei frowned deeply.

From childhood until now, he’d barely seen his grandfather a few tis. After the age of ten, he hadn’t seen him at all.

Moreover, Ye Fei’s father, Ye Zhigang, rarely ntioned his grandfather at ho, owing to the latter’s opposition to his marriage with Ye Fei’s mother. This made Ye Fei almost forget the existence of the Binjiang Ye Family his grandfather belonged to!

Why would this grandfather, who hadn’t contacted him in years, suddenly arrange a marriage proposal?

Perhaps sensing Ye Fei’s doubts or noticing his prolonged silence, Master Ma hesitated before saying, "Master, this is your family matter, and I shouldn’t interfere, but the Ye Family seems very overbearing about this!"

"Overbearing?"

Ye Fei sneered upon hearing this.

As far as he rembered, the Ye Family in Binjiang had so status and naturally held disdain for his father, the Ye Family’s outcast.

However, Ye Fei was no longer the boy he once was. These days, Ye Fei’s influence governed Su Province—he was the leader of the thirteen city bosses—and, more importantly, a mysterious Cultivator!

If the Ye Family dared to provoke him or his family, Ye Fei wouldn’t hesitate to let them experience the despair he was capable of inflicting!

Thinking this through, Ye Fei sneered and said, "I understand. Tell my father I’ll be heading over in a few days—we’ll et in Binjiang as a family. As for anything else, you should already know how to handle it!"

"Yes, Master!"

Master Ma imdiately complied and then hung up.

Ring, ring!

Just as Ye Fei was about to put down his phone and start packing, it rang again.

"Guo Can? Haha, truly a busy ti—has the Guo Family co knocking now?"

Looking at the na displayed on the screen, Ye Fei pressed the call button. Guo Can’s voice ca through.

"Ye Fei? Are you at the villa right now? My grandpa wants to bring soone to et you—is that okay?" Guo Can said over the phone.

"Bring soone?"

Ye Fei asked curiously, "Who?"

"I’m not entirely sure, but my dad said it’s soone who used to be my grandpa’s leader," Guo Can replied.
