After the four single-entity civilizations opened the curtain on encircling the Sweepers Civilization and the Neutron War Star, the three technological civilizations also joined the battle. Xiao Yu saw that although Technology Taihao still had not brought out the conventional forces he had guessed at, its flagship, the son spaceship, began flying toward the Neutron War Star. Even along its course forward, patches of space began to collapse, turning pitch-black like black holes, and countless pitch-black shadows rushed toward the Neutron War Star at hundreds of tis the speed of light.
Xiao Yu knew this was Technology Taihao’s unique spatial attack weapon, space collapse.
The performance of the Guardian Civilization, however, was not particularly brilliant. Xiao Yu saw that roughly more than thirty million Guardian Civilization ships ford tidy battle formations and charged forward. Countless crisscrossing spatial rifts, along with various forms of conventional attacks, began striking at the Neutron War Star.
As for Xiao Yu, after leaving a little over fifteen million escort ships to guard the Earth Planet-Class warship, he dispatched all the remaining more than thirty million ships to attack the Neutron War Star.
At this mont, Xiao Yu actually preferred to sit on the mountain and watch the tigers fight, to stand aside and observe these formidable existences battle each other. But he had to consider one point. Now that all present had begun attacking the Sweepers Civilization, if he chose neutrality, would he beco a target for these existences to strike? At this ti, Xiao Yu had to show a certain inclination to make his stance clear. Here, there was no so-called neutrality. One was either an ally or an enemy.
Therefore, whether for the sake of his inner anger, to display his stance, or to truly exchange blows with the Sweepers Civilization and obtain so intelligence on the Neutron War Star, Xiao Yu had to act, and the intensity of his attack could not be too weak.
In such circumstances, nearly seventy million warships of technological civilizations, together with the four single-entity civilizations, jointly launched an attack on the Sweepers Civilization’s Neutron War Star. And at this mont, from the Neutron War Star’s arrival and shattering of the cuboid, to the spatter of roughly a dozen geotric bodies being seized by its gravity, to the formation of the situation where seven civilizations jointly encircled the Neutron War Star, only a dozen seconds had passed.
The Neutron War Star was still rapidly closing with those geotric bodies. Behind those geotric bodies were the four ferociously pursuing Alien Beast Civilizations, as well as more than seventy million technological-civilization warships. Of course, of these more than seventy million warships, the vast majority belonged to Xiao Yu and the Guardian Civilization, because up to now Technology Taihao had only brought out a single flagship, that is, its son spaceship.
At this mont, the Neutron War Star made a move. Xiao Yu seed to see it move slightly, and then an annihilating aura spread out. For so unknown reason, the space in front of the Neutron War Star suddenly disappeared. When a region of space disappears, the surrounding space naturally fills it, just like water flowing in to fill what has been ladled from a bucket. But matter exists attached to space, and when space flows, the matter within it naturally flows as well.
Because for so unknown reason a large patch of space between the Neutron War Star and those geotric bodies had vanished, the distance between the two naturally closed again. The Neutron War Star was now only a short distance from those geotric bodies.
“Using space-slicing to pull your distance to the target closer? This ability is formidable, but nothing surprising.” Xiao Yu murmured. Although the situation was now extrely critical, so critical that the energy and effort he had expended during this period might be entirely wasted and he might gain nothing, not even a single geotric body, Xiao Yu’s heart was still calm.
Xiao Yu believed there was nothing unusual about this thod. He himself could do it, although he could not do it without external instrunts as the Sweepers Civilization could. But in the next instant, Xiao Yu knew he was wrong, very wrong, utterly and completely wrong.
Because in the very next instant, after that large patch of space vanished, Xiao Yu detected an energy fluctuation that was violent to the extre and ferocious to the extre. Vaguely, he even felt that this energy fluctuation could rival events as intense as supernova explosions or even neutron star collisions.
At the sa ti, for so reason, the type of this energy felt extrely familiar to Xiao Yu.
In just an instant, Xiao Yu understood. In his heart a shock surged like stormy waves.
“Could this be the ordinary mode of attack of the Neutron War Star?” Xiao Yu thought in utter astonishnt.
Since he had first heard the term Neutron War Star, whether from what he had seen and heard himself or from what others had recounted, the Neutron War Star seed to have only one attack thod, which was direct impact. For example, ramming the half four-dinsional Taihao, ramming the Arboreal Race Alien Beast, ramming the spatial lifeform, and now ramming this cuboid. Although there must have been so kind of space technology blended into such impacts, otherwise the Neutron War Star could not possibly have killed the half four-dinsional Taihao or the spatial lifeform, nor shattered the cuboid in a single blow, since these three existences were all related to space.
But Xiao Yu still thought this attack thod was a bit too monotonous. The Neutron War Star could not possibly have only this one attack thod. One must know that a Level 7 Civilization in the extre stellar body direction could already remodel a neutron star. Would it be difficult to develop several conventional attack thods within the Level 7 Civilization category? Absolutely not.
In other words, the Neutron War Star definitely had other types of attack thods, rely not yet revealed. The formation of this situation could also be because the enemies the Neutron War Star faced were always powerful single-entity beings, such as the spatial lifeform, the half four-dinsional Taihao, and the Arboreal Race Alien Beast. Perhaps in the view of the Neutron War Star and the Sweepers, the most effective way to deal with single-entity civilizations was direct impact.
Now, facing the four single-entity civilizations and more than seventy million powerful warships, the Neutron War Star finally brought out another of its attack thods. Strangely, Xiao Yu felt this energy was unusually familiar.
Xiao Yu knew what this energy was, knew its source and basic principle, and at the sa ti confird a conjecture in his heart.
This energy was energy carved out from space itself. The purpose of the Neutron War Star annihilating a large swath of space before it was not only to pull itself closer to those geotric bodies. More importantly, the Neutron War Star completely annihilated that large swath of space into energy, and by borrowing that energy, attacked the many enemies before it.
The principle of this attack was like when Xiao Yu’s four-dinsional shield detonated and space fell from four dinsions to three, releasing trendous energy, or when two-dinsional weapons attacked and space and matter fell from three dinsions to two, releasing trendous energy. All signs indicated that space itself contained enormous energy. Xiao Yu even made a conjecture that using space as an energy source was very likely the energy-source thod of Level 7 or higher civilizations.
This energy-source thod was extrely convenient. Xiao Yu conjectured that Level 7 Civilizations most likely relied on this energy-source thod to complete intergalactic voyages spanning millions of light years without any mid-route resupply. The reason was simple. Between galaxies lay a vacuum. There was no matter there, but there was space. For a Level 7 Civilization that had mastered this technology, anywhere there was space, there was no worry about energy being insufficient.
Now, the Neutron War Star had transford a large swath of space ahead into energy to attack the many formidable existences before it. This completely confird Xiao Yu’s conjecture.
“Could this be the Neutron War Star’s thod of attack when facing many targets across a large area? This is far too astonishing. The Neutron War Star truly deserves its na, truly deserves to be a creation of a Level 7 Civilization.” Xiao Yu murmured in his heart, full of shock. “This attack thod should have a resounding na. It is born by borrowing space, and it can erupt with energy as powerful as a supernova explosion. Then I will na this attack thod Spatial Starburst.”
Up to now, Xiao Yu already knew of two attack thods of the Neutron War Star. One was direct impact, and one was Spatial Starburst. These two Level 7 Civilization attack thods allowed the Neutron War Star to rampage through the Milky Way without ever eting an opponent, and it had maintained this state for tens of millions of years.
“This ferocious mode of attack is not sothing I can withstand. Even if all my ships are manufactured from the flesh and blood of the Arboreal Race Alien Beast and are equipped with two-dinsional shields and four-dinsional shields, my ships still cannot withstand this attack. Retreat, retreat imdiately.” In this instant, countless thoughts flashed through Xiao Yu’s mind. At this critical mont, he swiftly issued the order to retreat.
Of course, Xiao Yu did not withdraw all his ships. Those that were already too close to the range of the Spatial Starburst could no longer escape. Even adopting curvature flight would be too late. So Xiao Yu decisively abandoned these ships, treating them as instrunts to gauge the attack intensity of the Spatial Starburst.
In the very next instant, the Spatial Starburst had already engulfed these ships.
