Xiao Yu’s detection results told him that nearly eight hundred stars had been packed into that small universe, which was constantly approaching the Divine Ark Civilization’s small universe. In order to make his reaction look more convincing, Xiao Yu also began a large scale ‘resistance’ operation. Specifically, he mobilized a fleet of a hundred million warships, began laying down a Space Bridge, attempting to link to that small universe and either destroy it or alter its orbit so that it could not approach his own small universe.
Everything unfolded exactly as Xiao Yu had anticipated. A second battlefield was opened up. Between the two small universes, another unique small-universe offensive and defensive battle erupted. The difference this ti was that on this battlefield Xiao Yu was attacking, while the Sweepers Civilization was defending. Under the protection of a massive number of warships, the Space Bridges Xiao Yu laid down were repeatedly destroyed, and large numbers of warships were constantly annihilated. Yet Xiao Yu’s ships continued to ‘fearlessly sacrifice themselves,’ attacking that small universe over and over, until that small universe finally fused with Xiao Yu’s small universe.
Looking at the nearly eight hundred stars that had appeared inside his own small universe, Xiao Yu was filled with emotion. However, his feelings did not affect his decisions.
“Destroy every warship that has invaded our small universe.” Xiao Yu ordered calmly.
The order was faithfully executed. The warriors of the biological army piloted their warships forward in a surge and instantly subrged those ships.
Spatial Starbursts had a special lethality against the Space Bridge, which was why Xiao Yu had lost so many ships in the small-universe battles and why an entire fleet of one hundred million warships still failed to take a small universe defended by only a few million ships. Now, however, the battlefield had shifted into the small universe itself, and the Sweepers Civilization’s ships no longer had any advantage. There was no suspense at all in wiping them out.
“So you have finally sent these stars to … Good.”
Xiao Yu imdiately launched the next phase of his plan. Hundreds of thousands of dedicated ships swiftly flew over and rapidly moved these stars to their designated positions. Then huge numbers of cargo ships began gathering, and large quantities of equipnt were transported out and arranged around those stars. This equipnt would extract enough energy from the stars, convert it, then pour it into the Specter companion’s body and enhance it’s abilities.
Xiao Yu was busy working at a frantic pace, and it was at this mont that, inside the Space Bridge, the most intense battle broke out in full.
Previously, inside the Space Bridge, the Neutron War Star had been the main attacking force, while the other warships rely protected it and prevented it from being sliced away. This had led to Xiao Yu’s warships suffering massive losses while the Sweepers Civilization’s ships barely took any damage. Now, however, the situation had changed.
Xiao Yu observed that at least another one hundred million Sweepers Civilization warships had joined the battle. Among those one hundred million warships were at least two hundred thousand of those spherical warships. After conversion, most of those spherical warships were equivalent only to Planet-Class and Continent-Class warships in combat power, but that was still a very formidable force, especially now that Xiao Yu’s large warships and high-end forces had been decimated while blocking the Neutron War Star.
The Sweepers Civilization’s total number of warships had already reached two hundred million. Xiao Yu’s side still had as many as eight billion warships, but that number was very inflated, since most of those eight billion warships were small ships. The large ones had already been almost completely destroyed while holding off the Neutron War Star.
The final offensive had begun. At this mont, the Sweepers Civilization had committed all of its strength to the battle. Spherical warships, conventional warships, and the Neutron War Star all pressed down on Xiao Yu’s fleets. It seed the Sweepers Civilization also knew they did not have much ti left. After all, Xiao Yu needed only a little over a year to slice those eight hundred stars out of his small universe. That ant the Neutron War Star had barely more than a year of safety. Within that year or so, the Neutron War Star had to gain entry to Xiao Yu’s small universe, or it would not be able to destroy the Divine Ark Civilization.
The most brutal battle erupted. Countless warships shuttled back and forth within the Space Bridge, vast as a universe. Flas of war burned in every direction. At every mont, innurable warships were destroyed, smashed by spherical warships, sliced out of the small universe, torn apart by spatial weapons. Every kind of destruction appeared here in turn.
Yet no matter how intense the fighting, the Neutron War Star remained the absolute overlord of this battlefield. There was nothing that could threaten it, no warship that could block its advance. If a Star-Class warship stood in front of it, it smashed the Star-Class warship. If a Planet-Class warship stood in front of it, it smashed the Planet-Class warship.
All who blocked it were crushed, unstoppable and inexorable.
“This is our last battle. I have had enough of lining up my warship to go die in front of the Neutron War Star. Now, we can finally fight the Sweepers for real.”
“Haha, so what if you are a spherical warship? You still have to die by my hand. Co on, let us see who fears whom!”

“Warriors, I need half a month. No matter what, I require you to hold the Space Gate for half a month. The Sweepers Civilization has launched a full offensive. There is no need for us to hold back either. I will put all of our Divine Ark Civilization’s remaining warship reserves at your disposal. Fight, and show the Sweepers Civilization the might of the Divine Ark Civilization.”
“Half a month. I only need half a month. These fifteen days will determine the fate of our Divine Ark Civilization. Behind you are our hos, our loved ones, our civilization. There is no place for the Sweepers Civilization’s warships in our ho. Block them there and destroy them.”
“For our civilization!”
Countless warriors roared in unison.
Xiao Yu’s warship reserves were decreasing at a frightening rate, but he did not care. This would be the final battle of this war. As long as he escaped this ti, what did it matter if his warship reserves were completely exhausted?
“Specter, are you ready… I have finished installing the equipnt.”
Within the Space Bridge, the fierce battle raged on. The atmosphere inside the small universe was just as tense. After installing the related equipnt at the fastest possible speed, Xiao Yu sent a ssage to the Specter companion.

The Specter companion’s reply was full of heroic passion. Xiao Yu silently nodded and issued the activation command.
Countless scientists remained at their posts, watching every movent here. Any slightest piece of data would be captured and analyzed, and any anomaly would be discovered and handled in the shortest possible ti. Under the joint control of Xiao Yu and these scientists, the devices positioned around the one thousand stars were activated simultaneously.

The energy from those one thousand stars was gathered together. A space base as massive as a planet took on the task of converting this energy. There, the vast stellar energy was transford into that strange soul energy, then poured into the Specter companion’s body.
At that mont, Xiao Yu heard from the depths of his soul a sound of pain and repression pushed to the extre. Xiao Yu knew this ca from the connection between himself and the Specter companion at the deepest level. Through this link he could truly feel the imnse pain and tornt the Specter companion was enduring.
“You have to hold on. The hope of our Divine Ark Civilization, the hope of our Earth Civilization, our hope, yours and mine, all rest on you alone right now. You must endure, grow strong, and keep growing strong until you are powerful enough to stand against the invincible Neutron War Star.”
Through that deepest soul connection, Xiao Yu spoke quietly, soothing the Specter companion’s frenzied, violent emotions.
“Yes… I, I will definitely hold on. I… I can definitely hold on,” the Specter companion murmured. “The truth behind Earth’s destruction, we, I, still have not un… uncovered it. I, I have not yet seen the day, the day of humanity’s re… rebirth. I, I can hold… on.”
“I am always by your side. I am always here with you.” Xiao Yu said softly.
A ferocious, utterly savage aura was continuously spreading out from the Specter companion. This soul-based energy seed to have a special psychic resonance. At this mont, every being that possessed a soul, whether that soul was perfect or imperfect, whether it was Xiao Yu or an ordinary citizen of the Divine Ark Civilization, all felt this aura.
