The Microscopic Civilization’s evolutionary direction was not the enhancent of its own combat power. Although they were a Level 7 Civilization, they did not possess combat strength that matched that level. If the one opposing Xiao Yu this ti had been a Level 7 Civilization in the extre stellar body direction, space direction, chanical direction, or any other war related field, Xiao Yu would most likely have had no choice but to swallow this loss in silence.
Even if the Microscopic Civilization was not specialized in warfare, any Level 7 Civilization was not to be taken lightly. Xiao Yu had to exert his full power in order to fend off their attack.
Before Mars, within the protective shield, the fierce battle was still going on. Xiao Yu stood there quietly, staring blankly at a point a hundred ters away. The space shield there was constantly flashing with firelight and ripples.
“A Level 7 Civilization that has chosen hobbies and interests as its developntal focus is utterly useless in war. You have no idea how far those war oriented civilizations have progressed in the art of warfare. Just because you are Level 7, you think you have nothing to fear?” Xiao Yu shook his head slightly and issued a new order.
The Microscopic Civilization’s war literacy was not even on par with that of an ordinary Level 5 Civilization in the Milky Way Galaxy. In the previous battles they had already made many mistakes. For instance, they could not take Xiao Yu down even with a concentrated full scale attack, yet they still chose to divide their forces, sending part of their strength to seize control of Xiao Yu’s warships.
With such poor tactics, how could they possibly be a match for an old hand like Xiao Yu?
The enormous cluster of instrunts buried beneath the mountain began running at full power. The space shield started undergoing faint, nearly imperceptible changes. It was like water at ninety nine degrees Celsius compared to water at zero degrees. There was no visible difference on the surface, but if you added just a bit more heat to the ninety nine degree water, it would suddenly boil.
The changes in the space shield could not be discerned from the outside, but so energy was quietly gathering in the dark, waiting for the final transformation.
“Perhaps in other galaxies the universe is even more empty than the Milky Way Galaxy. There might be only a single civilization in an entire galaxy, and over billions of years it slowly evolves into a Level 7 Civilization. Such a civilization may never have clashed with others, never experienced the cruelty of war, so their art of warfare must be extrely backward. These are flowers grown in a greenhouse. War is no ga…” Xiao Yu sighed inwardly.
The Microscopic Civilization seed completely unaware of the dangerous energy building up within the space shield. They were still trying every possible thod they could think of to break through the barrier. Xiao Yu calmly watched the energy readings, and when the numbers reached a certain threshold, he issued another command.
The space shield, originally a faint red, suddenly deepened in color, like the blood of an intelligent being. The space shield covered the ground. From Xiao Yu’s vantage point, it looked as if the entire sky had turned blood red. This red glow dyed the rocks, trees, and weeds on the mountaintop in the sa hue. For a mont, heaven and earth were shrouded in desolation, slaughter, blood, and the aura of death.
Faced with this overwhelming force of heaven and earth, the Arrow Beasts trembled like quails under a thunderstorm with roaring wind and lightning. Zhang Shengya still managed to maintain basic composure, but her constantly shaking hands betrayed her inner fear. She clung tightly to Xiao Yu, not daring to loosen her grip for a second. Xiao Yu’s projected image stood quietly, expressionless.
At this mont, the Microscopic Civilization finally sensed the danger. In an instant, countless points of light fled from the blood red space shield, desperately trying to escape into the void of space. But it was too late. Xiao Yu had already completed the energy buildup long ago. Now that the process had been set in motion, no one could reverse it.
The entire space shield suddenly shattered. It was like a mirror breaking into dust so fine it could not be broken down any further. Violent energy filled heaven and earth. Mars’s atmosphere was completely torn apart by this terrifying force. An unprecedented gigantic hurricane ford out of nowhere, spreading to an unknown distance. This raging storm of energy, carrying an unstoppable montum, surged toward Xiao Yu not far away. Yet when it ca within less than fifty ters of him, another space shield lit up and completely blocked the violent force.
Outside, heaven and earth were turned upside down. Inside, the hem of Xiao Yu’s clothes did not even flutter. It was still tranquil and calm. Insects chirped. The large trees swayed lazily in the breeze. A gentle cooling wind blew past, carrying a pleasant floral scent.
The inside and outside of the space shield had beco two completely different worlds. Just beyond the shield, countless points of light were scattering in all directions like headless flies, and only after several minutes did they finally calm down and once again gather into a sphere. This ti, however, the spherical mass ford by the Microscopic Civilization was noticeably smaller than before. By Xiao Yu’s estimation, at least more than thirteen billion of their microscopic warships had been destroyed in that violent explosion.
This was the trap Xiao Yu had laid for the Microscopic Civilization by turning their own sche against them. He had already basically mastered the mysteries of conversion between space and energy. The explosion just now had drawn its energy from space itself. In the instant when the Microscopic Civilization had all entered the space shield and were trying to break through it, the entire region, shield and all, had exploded, producing these consequences.
“You ca looking for trouble. This is the price. The first ti, I did not resist you and let you rescue the Guardian Civilization. This ti, not only will you fail to rescue the Sweepers Civilization, you will not be allowed to walk away without leaving sothing behind.”
The most intense phase of the explosion had passed. The spherical aggregation of the Microscopic Civilization still floated outside the shield, rising and falling with the turbulent currents. They knew that they were out of options now. Any further attack would be futile, so they no longer ca to harass Xiao Yu. They simply stayed there in silence, as if contemplating sothing.
“What you cannot achieve, do not waste your efforts on. The Sweepers Civilization must be exterminated by my hand. Unless a war oriented Level 7 Civilization cos, no one can stop .” Xiao Yu said. “I do not have the ability to wipe you out completely, and you cannot do anything to either. So now, you should leave. Do not linger here any longer.”
“You are right. We do not have the ability to stop you from annihilating the Sweepers Civilization. Then we will go. Farewell.”
The Microscopic Civilization sent that ssage, and then hundreds of billions of their microscopic warships once again turned into a multicolored ribbon and rushed out beyond Xiao Yu’s small universe, leaving the area in an instant.
Before they left, one last ssage drifted in. “You have cost us one hundred and thirty seven billion lives. We will rember this loss. When we gain the power to deal with you, we will return.”
“Do not let delay you.” Xiao Yu snorted inwardly.
“I have not even fully beco a Level 7 Civilization, and you are already no match for . Once I fully ascend to Level 7, destroying you will be effortless. Microscopic Civilization, do not let run into you again.”
“It is over, Aya.” Xiao Yu gently patted Zhang Shengya’s shoulder and spoke softly.
The space shield was not taken down. Xiao Yu could not be certain whether the Microscopic Civilization had truly left or was feigning retreat. At such a ti, a bit of caution would do no harm.
In the main universe, inside the space laboratory, the Neutron War Star was still spinning, with matter constantly turning into space and dissipating from its body. Nearly three hours had passed. The Neutron War Star was standing at the brink of destruction. At this point it had already suffered irreversible damage. Even if Xiao Yu released it, it was unlikely that it could ever again display the fearso majesty of the Neutron War Star. In fact, Xiao Yu suspected that it had already completely lost its curvature flight capability. Without curvature flight, the Neutron War Star was nothing but scrap.
“Sweepers Civilization, farewell. Neutron War Star, farewell.” Xiao Yu shook his head slightly as he looked at the powerful entity he had once revered as a god. He did not know what he was feeling in that mont.
After tens of millions of years rampaging across the Milky Way Galaxy without a single defeat, the myth was about to end in his hands. From this mont on, the Neutron War Star would beco history. New civilizations would never again have the chance to experience its power and dominance.
The Neutron War Star never sent any ssage. It did not beg Xiao Yu for rcy, nor did it utter any declarations of preferring death to surrender. Perhaps in the eyes of the Sweepers Civilization, silence was also a kind of stance. Of course, Xiao Yu had no intention of saying anything to them either.
“Farewell.” Xiao Yu spoke the word in his heart. In the very next instant after he did, the Neutron War Star’s mass reached its critical point. Its own gravity could no longer sustain such an ultra compact structure. Its volu began to expand rapidly. This was an explosion, one no less violent than a supernova.
Xiao Yu’s fleet had already withdrawn before this final mont arrived. When the explosion erupted, the space laboratory, which had remained intact even under the Microscopic Civilization’s assault, was like a plastic toy in the grip of a giant hand, instantly swallowed by an endless flood of light. Within that flood of light was an unimaginably vast cloud of hydrogen gas. Of course, not all of it was hydrogen anymore. Under such an imnse energy outburst, uncontrolled nuclear reactions would continuously occur. Every elent on the periodic table would be forged in that instant, then scattered into the universe.
“It is finally over.” Xiao Yu took Zhang Shengya’s hand. A small spaceship was parked before him.
“Let us go.” Xiao Yu said.
