Of course, Xiao Yu had not directly observed that gamma-ray burst from five million years ago in the Androda Galaxy. While in the Androda Galaxy, Xiao Yu had once arrived at the ruins left behind after those neutron stars collided. The collision of the two neutron stars had ford a black hole, and around that black hole there was also so matter that had been flung out during the collision process, forming an accretion disk orbiting the black hole. Through analysis of these ruins, Xiao Yu determined what had happened there several million years ago, confird that a gamma-ray burst had once occurred there, and even asured the intensity of that gamma-ray burst.

This was sothing that should have existed only in deduction. It should not have been sothing Xiao Yu could actually asure in reality. Yet now, Xiao Yu had truly observed this gamma-ray burst, and all of the data from this burst was exactly identical to the burst Xiao Yu had deduced. Such a coincidence was basically impossible.

Xiao Yu once again fell into inexplicable shock. So Xiao Yu imdiately began further observations of the Androda Galaxy. As the extragalactic galaxy closest to his ho, ever since Xiao Yu gained the ability to voyage through the universe, he had never once relaxed his observation of it. Over the past one hundred thousand years, Xiao Yu had accumulated a trendous amount of information on the Androda Galaxy. And now, since the light carrying this gamma-ray burst had already been observed by Xiao Yu, that ant the light carrying information about other changes had also reached the Milky Way.

After observing the Androda Galaxy for one month, Xiao Yu beca completely certain of the matter, confirming that the Androda Galaxy had likewise truly undergone a ti reversal event.

“What does this an? Why did the Milky Way change after I left it, and why did the Androda Galaxy also change after I left the Androda Galaxy?” Xiao Yu thought silently. “There seems to be so kind of pattern in these events. These changes seem to be following in my footsteps.”

“Then, according to common sense, the Large Magellanic Cloud, the Small Magellanic Cloud, and the Ursa Major Dwarf Galaxy should also have changed, because I reached those places as well.”

So Xiao Yu imdiately shifted the focus of his observations and directed a large number of high-precision long-range observation devices toward these three dim satellite galaxies of the Milky Way in the celestial sphere. But the data from the observations once again exceeded Xiao Yu’s expectations.

Among these three satellite galaxies of the Milky Way, the Small Magellanic Cloud and the Ursa Major Dwarf Galaxy had not changed. On the contrary, the Large Magellanic Cloud had undergone so changes. Xiao Yu observed that the volu of the Large Magellanic Cloud had shrunk considerably, and its mass had decreased by at least sixty percent.

“It is still understandable that the Small Magellanic Cloud and the Ursa Major Dwarf Galaxy have not changed. At most, it ans these changes have not yet spread to them, or that they simply never underwent any changes at all. But how is the Large Magellanic Cloud to be explained?” Xiao Yu’s mind was now filled with fog.

After thinking for a mont, Xiao Yu made a decision. He sent out dozens of long-voyage fleets toward dozens of the Milky Way’s satellite galaxies. Xiao Yu decided to search these satellite galaxies for traces of the Pegasus Civilization. During the ti since he left, it was unlikely that the Pegasus Civilization had made a technological leap, which ant there was a high chance they were still at the Level 6 Civilization stage. And as long as they were still at the Level 6 Civilization stage, they basically would not have the ability to travel between galaxies, and could only move about within the Milky Way and its satellite galaxies. While searching for the Pegasus Civilization, these long-voyage fleets also bore the task of exploring those satellite galaxies.

Xiao Yu’s vast reach had now extended in all directions, searching for every piece of information that might help resolve the current predicant.

Before the fleets heading toward the Milky Way’s satellite galaxies had reached their destinations, the exploration fleets within the Milky Way had already reached their respective targets. The main targets of this round of exploration were the various high-level civilization ruins Xiao Yu knew to be hidden within the Milky Way.

The first place Xiao Yu explored was the ruin of that Level 7 Civilization of the chanical direction, located around the Galactic Center. This ruin of the chanical direction Level 7 Civilization had been hidden with extrely ingenious use of space technology, but Xiao Yu was now also a Level 7 Civilization, so naturally he possessed the ability to find it.

Xiao Yu carefully asured the space curvature and fluctuation levels in all the regions around the Galactic Center. After exploring for more than ten years, the final result was nothing at all. Based on the intelligence from the last ti he had co to the Galactic Center, Xiao Yu was certain that if that Level 7 Civilization ruin were still here, then under a search of this intensity, he would certainly have been able to find it. But now the result was nothing, which was highly thought-provoking.

“Is it gone? True ti reversal of the Milky Way should not be like this. If this were true ti reversal, then the scene within the Milky Way should not have changed so greatly. At the very least, the Sweepers Civilization and the Guardian Civilization should still exist, and this ruin here should not have disappeared either.” Xiao Yu thought slowly. At this ti, another exploration fleet had already arrived at the Aquila Nebula.

The Aquila Nebula had been an important stop on Xiao Yu’s journey through the Milky Way. It was precisely in the Aquila Nebula that Xiao Yu had encountered the white dwarf Alien Beast nad Mirage Beast, obtained the corpse of his compatriot, the Earth girl Zhang Shengya, and, following the clues Zhang Shengya had left behind in her diary, found the thod for unifying the four fundantal forces in a multi-body system, ultimately mastering curvature flight and gaining the qualification to truly step into the vast universe.

Xiao Yu quickly found the star he had nad Aquila A, then extended outward and found the binary star system where the Mirage Beast had once dwelled.

That white dwarf Alien Beast had once said that it had been injured by the Taihao Civilization and trapped there for nearly ten million years. According to common sense, if the Milky Way’s ti had reversed by two million five hundred thousand years, then this Alien Beast should still have been staying on that white dwarf at this mont. But when Xiao Yu’s fleet arrived there, he found no trace whatsoever on that white dwarf. This white dwarf was just like the other white dwarfs in the Milky Way, quietly revolving together with its companion star around the common center of mass of the two bodies, without any abnormalities.

It was nothing more than an entirely ordinary white dwarf. Aside from having a companion star, there was nothing special about it at all. Xiao Yu did not find a powerful Alien Beast that had already beco Level 6 on it.

Xiao Yu felt a sense of emptiness and loss. He had already anticipated the situation he would encounter next, but he still set out.

This ti, the destination was an even more ordinary star system up ahead. That was the holand of the Arrow Beast Civilization. Based on Xiao Yu’s understanding of the history and evolutionary progress of the Arrow Beast Civilization, Xiao Yu knew that according to common sense, the Arrow Beast Civilization at this mont should still have been at the level of Level 2 Alien Beast Civilization, with only around ten thousand mbers in the entire group.

Xiao Yu found that planet whose ecological environnt was extrely similar to Earth’s. This planet had a great number of animals and plants, and an excellent ecological environnt, but Xiao Yu found no trace of the Arrow Beasts.

High mountains and rivers, seas and lakes, forests and deserts, this planet had all kinds of terrain. There were flying birds, running beasts, carnivores, and herbivores. Tens of millions of species were reproducing quietly on this planet. They had long since ford a stable food chain and had closely integrated with the planet’s environnt. Everything was very natural.

The scenery here was beautiful, at least in Xiao Yu’s eyes. But the robot representing Xiao Yu’s will stood amid this picturesque landscape and felt a piercing chill.

Sothing was missing here. Without the already intelligent Arrow Beast species, Xiao Yu always felt there was sothing missing here.

Here too, Xiao Yu found nothing. At the sa ti, another fleet arrived at the ruins of the Level 7 silicon-based civilization Xiao Yu had once visited. But regrettably, that place was empty as well. There was only a binary system composed of a white dwarf and an ordinary star. Within this binary system, there was also a planet orbiting them. Xiao Yu explored this planet, and as expected, those dilapidated, gigantic structures that seed to be factories of a Level 7 Civilization had also disappeared. It was completely and utterly an ordinary lifeless planet. On it there were only broad plains and mountains, and occasionally a canyon. Because activity in its core had long since ceased, it had no mountain-building movent, no volcanoes, and no earthquakes. Only the densely packed impact craters covering its surface told of the experiences of outsiders arriving there.

That damaged neutron war star of the Level 7 silicon-based civilization had naturally disappeared as well. It was as if such a thing had never existed there at all.

Xiao Yu also went to another Level 7 Civilization ruin, that Star Gate left behind by a Level 7 Civilization of the travel-direction, or perhaps even a Level 8 Civilization. It was precisely by relying on that Star Gate that Xiao Yu had been able to cross a distance of one million light years in just a few short years, yet what appeared before Xiao Yu now was only emptiness.

No one knew where that Star Gate had gone.

Xiao Yu searched frantically throughout the Milky Way. He did not let go of any place he could reach, yet he found nothing at all. Everything here was so similar to what he rembered, and yet so different. It was as if the entire Milky Way had indeed undergone ti reversal, but in the course of that ti reversal, certain things had been lost, and those things just happened to be precisely the ones most important to Xiao Yu.

Xiao Yu could not help but begin to doubt his own mory a little. “Did I really walk out from the Milky Way? In the Milky Way at this mont, there is nothing that can prove I ever existed…”
