Amidst the panic and unease of everyone, a high-ranking elder of the Ancient Maya suddenly spoke:

Before leader Bruce could finish speaking, nine layers of energy defenses were laid over the experintal base’s periter.
Then, a group of warriors clad in rcury Battle Armor, wielding powerful laser guns, swiftly stepped out to face the enemy.
"Kachak!"
Li Chen swung the Seven-star Dragon Abyss sword fiercely at the Energy Defense Layer outside.
Instantly, the Energy Defense Layer vibrated violently as if water splashed by a stone.
However, it was quickly stabilized by the newly supplented energy.
Seeing this, Li Chen frowned slightly.
Nevertheless, he didn’t pay it much heed and swung the sword once more.
"Alert, alert, Energy Defense Layer is under powerful external impact!"
"Alert, the first defense layer has collapsed!"
"The second defense layer has collapsed!"

Under the terrifying Sword Intent of Li Chen, the Maya’s Energy Barrier had already collapsed through six layers, leaving only three struggling to hold.

A division of rcury-armored warriors remained as a suicide squad, tasked with delaying Li Chen.
Seeing Li Chen, they opened fire with their laser guns in a berserk salvo, creating a fierce battle scene with rocks and magma.
"Hmph, a bunch of ignorant ants!"
Li Chen disdainfully snorted, flicked his sword to unleash a Sword Rainbow, which multiplied into thousands of Sword Shadows enveloping them like a torrential downpour.
"Squelch!"

These high-tech rcury warriors of the Maya, even after countless battles, couldn’t withstand this sword strike of Li Chen.
In just a few breaths, all the high-tech equipnt on them had turned into scrap tal.
Li Chen stepped over their bodies, looked up at the tunnel, and swiftly ascended into the sky to pursue.
Four o’clock in the morning:
While Houston was still asleep, the streets were deserted, with only neon lights flickering alone.
Suddenly!
A violent shaking awakened the entire city!
Millions of residents jolted awake from their sleep.
In their blank minds, only one thought remained.
An earthquake!
Soon, before they could react, a blinding light shot up into the sky, turning the entire night into daylight.

The Mayan battleship fired super missiles as it fled Earth, trying to stop Li Chen’s relentless advance.
However, these missiles were like toys to Li Chen, rely tickling him.
Of course, this was only true for Li Chen.
To the residents of Houston and surrounding cities, it was a catastrophe.
Though most missiles were intercepted and exploded high in the sky, a few fell into the city.
Instantly, mushroom clouds blazed into the sky!
The tall buildings of Houston were utterly destroyed.
In just a few seconds, the dead and injured numbered in the hundreds of thousands.
And that number was soaring rapidly.
It was a real-life scene straight out of Hollywood’s disaster movie ’2012’.
Apocalypse had quietly arrived!
