Ye Chuxue stepped forward and boldly took Li Chen’s hand.
Lan Huanxi wanted to reach out as well out of instinct but hesitated and withdrew her hand.
As she felt sowhat awkward, Ye Chuxue suddenly called out to Li Chen.

Li Chen frowned but looked at Lan Huanxi without a word and took her delicate, soft hand in his.
Lan Huanxi’s face blushed with embarrassnt, and although she wanted to say sothing, she opened her mouth but ended up saying nothing.
The three of them walked quietly, resulting in a sowhat awkward atmosphere.
Upon arrival at the school, Lan Huanxi’s face turned red as she said she forgot to feed Big Miao and had to return to the dorm to feed it.
After saying that, she broke free from Li Chen’s hand and scurried back to the dorm.
Watching Lan Huanxi’s receding figure, Ye Chuxue’s lips were slightly pursed, it was unclear whether she was talking to Li Chen or muttering to herself.
"Huanxi is a good girl!"

Li Chen felt like crying, really crying.

His eyes flicked to the sky as he suddenly pointed upwards, feigning shock and shouting: "Xue’er, look quick, what’s that in the sky?"
Ye Chuxue, unaware of the trick, instinctively looked up.
"What thing? I don’t see anything?"
Her sentence was cut short as she felt her mouth being sealed.
When their eyes t, she realized that she’d fallen for soone’s trap and had been forcefully kissed.
After Li Chen released her, she glared at him with wide eyes, pretending to be annoyed: "What are you doing? This is the school entrance, lots of people are watching!"
Li Chen looked around and declared, "What are you looking at, haven’t you ever seen a kiss?"
Ye Chuxue blushed.

She covered her face with one hand and with the other, tugged Li Chen towards a sparsely populated grove of trees.
Ye Chuxue exclaid with her eyes wide, "What are you doing? Aren’t you embarrassed?"
Li Chen shrugged his shoulders, looking innocent, "What’s wrong with kissing one’s girlfriend, it’s not illegal!"
"But you have to be mindful of the place, that was the school entrance, a lot of people were watching!"
"So where can I kiss you?"
"It should also be in a place with no one around, being seen by others is so embarrassing!"
Li Chen looked left and right and said, "It seems that there’s nobody here though!"
Ye Chuxue, surprised by his words, also looked around and indeed saw no one.
