"Li, Li, Immortal Master Li?"
Hearing Li Chen’s voice, Lady Rose trembled, startled by fear.
"Tell what I want to know, and I might spare your life. That’s enough idle talk, start talking!"
Li Chen finished speaking and no longer paid attention to Lady Rose, instead savoring his wine on his own.
Lady Rose hesitated for a mont, but ultimately chose her life over loyalty.
"Fine, I’ll tell you. What would you like to know?"
Seeing Lady Rose so understanding, Li Chen smiled knowingly and inquired about all the crucial information regarding Overseas Hongn, such as numbers and equipnt configuration, among other things.
Lady Rose answered all of his questions, one by one.
After hearing her answers, even Li Chen was startled by them.
An Overseas Hongn, with tens of thousands of mbers. Just the headquarters alone has eight thousand fully ard disciples, and is equipped with a series of new weapons, many of which are high-end items from Europe and Arica. This military force, even the entire Philippines could hardly match.
"I’ve told you everything that needs to be said. Can you let go now?"
Lady Rose looked pitifully at Li Chen, like a prisoner awaiting the judge’s verdict.
Li Chen did not directly answer her question but instead pointed to the wine glass in front of him and said, "Your blood rose, is it missing sothing?"
Lady Rose didn’t know why Li Chen would suddenly ask such an irrelevant question and was startled.
She steadied herself and stamred uneasily, "It shouldn’t be?"
Li Chen smiled and shook his head, "How could a blood rose possibly be without Lady Rose’s blood?"
Hearing that, Lady Rose was terrified to the core and instinctively thought of jumping out of the window to escape.
However, she was too late!
Just as she moved, she suddenly felt a bloody hole appear in her chest. Blood flowed down, dri(n/k)ing right into the wine glass.
Li Chen gently swirled the wine glass, and the blood diffused, forming a delicate and tantalizing red rose.
"This is the truly deserving blood rose!"
After saying that, he tilted his head slightly and drained the wine mingled with blood in one gulp.
By this ti, Lady Rose had already collapsed into a pool of blood, her body convulsing in pain, her eyes filled with resentful glares at Li Chen.
"Immortal Master Li, you broke your word. Didn’t you say that as long as I told you everything you wanted to know, you wouldn’t kill ?"
Li Chen shrugged and said, "I did say I wouldn’t kill you, and I haven’t. Otherwise, how could you still be talking to ?"
"You, pfft..."
Overco with rage, Lady Rose managed to say one word before spitting out another mouthful of blood.
Li Chen coldly smiled, "If I were you, I’d keep quiet to avoid dying in agony before the ambulance arrives."
With that, he dusted off his clothes, turned around with flair, and strode out of the bar.
Two days later, Li Chen’s figure appeared at the headquarters of Overseas Hongn on Palm Island.
The palm is a type of tall tree, typically growing over ten ters tall, sotis even higher.
The island is primarily covered with these trees, lush and giving an impression reminiscent of a tropical rainforest.
Hidden under these tall plants are nurous buildings and various military bunkers.
Most of these structures have only one-third above ground, with two-thirds below.
Besides the eight thousand fully ard Hongn disciples, the island is equipped with armored vehicles, mountain guns, and even high-tech gear like drones, helicopters, and underwater submarines, warships, and dense torpedoes.
If one were to try and take over this island, it would take at least five divisions like India’s Mountain Division. Even the United States Marine Corps would need to deploy a division, and conquering it would likely cost as heavily as the Battle of Midway.
However, Li Chen ca alone!
"Stop, this is a critical area of Hongn, outsiders are not allowed to enter!"
So Hongn disciples had never seen the true face of Li Chen. When they saw a young man entering the forbidden area, they stepped forward to scold him.
Li Chen smiled politely and said, "I’m here to find your Great Dragon Head, Yuann Jinxiong. Is he currently on the island?"
Upon hearing Li Chen’s words, the expressions of these patrolling disciples froze.
A squad leader eyed Li Chen warily and demanded, "Who are you and what do you want with our Great Dragon Head?"
"Kill him!"
Li Chen spoke casually, as casually as a normal greeting.
To the Hongn disciples, it was as if they had been struck by lightning.
However, before they could react, they were shocked to find a terrifying bloody hole in their throats.
The squad leader, as he bled his last drop, fired a shot into the sky to sound the alarm.
The gunshot shattered the silence of the entire island!
Hundreds of Hongn experts rushed over at top speed.
At the sa ti, they also rushed headlong into hell.
Soon, the news of Immortal Master Li’s arrival reached Yuann Jinxiong’s ears.
Compared to last year, he had aged at least twenty years, looking entirely like a dying old man.
He suddenly raised his palm and smashed a thick stone table into powder.
"Damn it, this Immortal Master Li is too bullying. Issue the order, use all firepower available to bombard him!"
Accompanied by Yuann Jinxiong’s roar, the entire Overseas Hongn, like a lion awakened from its slumber, bared its sharp claws and teeth.
The disciples lurking on the island, carrying large swords and long spears, rushed towards Li Chen like a rising tide.
Heavy machine guns in the bunkers spewed flas like venomous snakes, madly belching fire.
Various mountain guns, automatic cannons, armored vehicles, and tanks also turned their barrels and bombarded Li Chen in unison.
Li Chen smiled coldly and summoned the Human Demon Puppet and the Eighteen Copper n.
The Human Demon Puppet cleared the way, and the Eighteen Copper n, grouped in sixes, ford a ’品’ shaped attack formation. Li Chen walked in the middle, commanding with ease.
Bullets rained down like a storm on the Human Demon Puppet and Copper n, leaving clattering sounds.
But to the well-forged Copper n and Human Demon Puppet, it was rely a drizzle, utterly unable to stop their advance.
Seeing such a terrifying scene, everyone present was dumbfounded, their mouths agape with incredulity.
A commander bellowed desperately, "Artillery, ready!"
"Fire!"
In an instant, hundreds of shells, trailing long plus of white smoke like the scythe of the Death God, covered Li Chen.
"Boom, Boom!"
The shells exploded incessantly. Tall palm trees, dark rocks, and various unknown flowers, plants, birds, and animals were all blasted into powder.
Mountains crumbled, smoke billowed. The sun was obscured, like the judgnt day!
"With such fierce firepower, he must be blown to death this ti, right?"
The commander muttered to himself as he watched the rolling smoke.
However, before his words could settle, the Human Demon Puppet and the Eighteen Copper n, like Satan and devils, reappeared in their sight.
"These are heavy cannons, how is it possible they didn’t kill them?"
