From Li Chen’s tone, Lian Hongshang sensed that he didn’t treat Jiao Long rely as a Beast Pet, but as a friend. Whether to go or stay was entirely up to it.

Li Chen nodded and said, "Yeah, let’s go ask whether it wants to leave or stay."
Inside the main peak of the Azure Dragon Tribe, Jiao Long was coiled amidst a pile of food, its eyes shining bright.
It first grabbed a rhino leg and gnawed on it fiercely, but finding the taste unimpressive, it threw it away.

Jiao Long sniffed a familiar scent, lifted its head, and saw Li Chen and Lian Hongshang walking towards it.
It instantly sprang up, its huge tail sweeping across to protect all of the food, mumbling sothing inarticulate.
Lian Hongshang, failing to understand Jiao Long’s mutterings, instinctively looked towards Li Chen with a puzzled gaze.
Li Chen placed a hand to his forehead with an exasperated look, his face lined with a mix of frustration.
"This dope is guarding its food, afraid that we’re here to snatch it!"
"Uh?"
Upon hearing Li Chen’s explanation, Lian Hongshang also felt a bit embarrassed.
"Chen, with such a foodie, how do you plan to take it away?"
Li Chen shrugged indifferently and quickly walked over.
"Hey, we’re leaving this place, do you want to co with?"
Hearing Li Chen’s words, Jiao Long looked sowhat confused. It glanced left and right at the mountains of food, lifted the half-eaten lamb in its hand, and began to mutter unintelligibly.
Lian Hongshang looked completely clueless and curiously asked, "Chen, what’s it saying now?"
Li Chen explained, "This foodie is asking if the food here is not plentiful enough, or if it doesn’t taste good enough for us to want to leave."
After explaining, Li Chen looked at Jiao Long and held up two fingers, saying, "You have two choices: either co with us or stay here and continue being the emperor."
Jiao Long seed conflicted, even forgetting to nibble at the lamb.
It looked reluctantly at the piles of food, then at Li Chen, and began to mumble again.
Lian Hongshang, still looking puzzled, turned her inquisitive gaze towards Li Chen.
Li Chen pointed at the food and explained, "This dope says it’s okay to leave, but we have to take all this stuff with us for it to eat on the road!"
Lian Hongshang, her face filled with embarrassnt, said with a sigh, "Alright, it really is a foodie!"
This request was not difficult to fulfill. With a sufficiently large storage ring, all these items could be packed and taken away.
After sorting this out, Li Chen announced to the Barbarians that their Totem was entering seclusion to advance, and no one was allowed to disturb it.
To make the act more convincing, Li Chen even had Jiao Long circle around the tribe.
Jiao Long really enjoyed this adulation, acting as if it was an official visiting the countryside, stopping here and there and even nodding to the Barbarians now and then as a gesture of acknowledgnt.
So after another day of commotion, when night fell, Li Chen and Lian Hongshang quietly took Jiao Long and left.
After three days and nights of trekking through mountains and rivers, they finally reached the bank of Dragon River.
Li Chen glanced at the map of the Barbaric terrain and pointed across the river to Lian Hongshang, saying, "Once we cross Dragon River, we will enter the territory of Penglai!"
The river was so treacherous that not even a feather could float on it, and it was eight hundred li wide. With their current cultivation levels, Li Chen and Lian Hongshang were absolutely unable to cross it.
However, with Jiao Long at their side, they were not worried about the crossing.
Li Chen summoned Jiao Long, picked up Lian Hongshang in his arms, and leaped onto its back.
Though Jiao Long was only a fourth-level Demon Beast, its bloodline was dominantly powerful. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been able to strangle a Mammoth Giant Elephant, a fifth-level Demon Beast.
Thus, ordinary Demon Beasts in Dragon River fled at the first scent of Jiao Long’s powerful aura, daring not to approach and block their path.
In this way, they crossed the vast expanse of Dragon River without any danger.
On the other side of Dragon River was a place of lush green mountains and clear waters, exceedingly beautiful.

Seeing the water, Lian Hongshang’s eyes sparkled with joy, and she said cheerfully that she felt dirty and wanted to bathe.
Li Chen sniffed her and said she slled nice, asking where she found any odor?
Lian Hongshang gave him a big eye roll and playfully chided, "How annoying," before taking off her shoes and slowly walking towards the lake. The water gently rippled, creating circles of waves.
Bored, Li Chen sat on the bank, quietly admiring the beautiful scenery of spring before him.
For so reason, seeing Lian Hongshang in the lake brought to his mind the embarrassed and angry Shuanghua erging from her bath.
Lost in thought, Li Chen was suddenly splashed with a surge of water.
Startled, Li Chen looked at Lian Hongshang in confusion and asked, "Why are you splashing for no reason?"
Lian Hongshang’s eyes widened in mock anger, retorting, "How can I take a bath with you watching from the shore?"
"You do your thing; it’s not like I haven’t seen it before!"
"Hmph, you’re so obnoxious!"
Before she finished speaking, the embarrassed and angered Lian Hongshang scooped up another wave of the lake and splashed him again.
Li Chen casually blocked, deflecting the incoming water right back at her.
Imdiately after, not waiting for Lian Hongshang to make another move, he leapt into the air with a spin and plunged into the water with a "plop."
Just as Lian Hongshang had wiped the water drops from her face, she was surprised to find her waist encircled tightly by Li Chen.
"Stop it!"
Li Chen gave her cheek a soft peck and said, "I’m not fooling around; I’m dirty too, let’s bathe together!"
"I don’t want to..."
Before the word "want" could fully escape her lips, she felt her mouth sealed by Li Chen’s.
While kissing Lian Hongshang, Li Chen gently undid her robes, and her pale skin shone brilliantly under the soft sunlight, rippling with the light of spring...
