"If you were to sell the Dream Elixirs I'm sure you would make bank," Emily nodded. "I bet you could beco so rich you could purchase the whole island, lol."
"I guess she could, yeah, an invention of that caliber, one only she can create at that, would sell for millions like hot cakes," said Alma. "Across the world there's a lot of billionaires and companies researching ways to make Dream Warriors stronger. Aside from Dream Equipnt and just Intensive Training Regis using special facilities, there isn't much more than that…"
"Yeah, sothing like a "potion" that just makes you permanently stronger is insane!" said Sofia. "I-I'm honestly flabbergasted for what the future awaits for us, Maria… What are you even going to do now? Are you keeping it a secret? Would everyone you give an elixir keep it a secret to begin with?"
"Most likely not…" Maria sighed. "But it doesn't matter, I'll make sure they drink it in front of first, then once that's done I'm good. I just don't want them to take it back ho, so they sell it or try to find the ingredients or sothing."
"Ah, true, I guess that's true," nodded Emily. "Well anyways, I guess this is amazing, I owe you one, again, Maria… Thanks."
"Sa! I-I'm sorry for being a coward…" said Alma. "I am just not confident on my strength, but you're going so far for us… . I… well, if you really think I could help, I'll assist you in anything you need!"
"A-Alma?!" Sofia gasped, as she heard the most "cowardly" of the group being the bravest now. "But whatever insane thing Maria is planning could cost our lives! Not all of us is as strong as she is and…"
"But Sofia! She has done so much for us; I just wouldn't be able to live knowing I abandoned my friend on a mission to save the world because I'm a coward…" Alma sighed. "If she's asking for my help it ans that she thinks I'm strong and I could help, right? Soone as strong as her knows these things!"
"A-Ah…" Sofia sighed. "Well, even then…"
"A-And you don't rember what happened in the Nightmare Realm you created by accident?" asked Alma. "We helped you out a lot! And without Maria well… W-Well, I think we might have died. She carried us."
"Yeah, she carried us…" Emily nodded. "We did our best but without her it would had been impossible from the beginning."
"I guess… Dammit, you're right, and you're making feel so bad now!" Sofia began biting her nails.
"Girls, girls, calm down," Maria said. "There's no point in fighting and discussing about these things. It's okay, don't feel guilty either. I understand, I'm sorry for asking even, I recognize it was kind of dumb… So let's keep going. Give it ti, I am even still trying to figure out things. I'm just grateful you… well, you accepted as your friend, that's all."
"Awww… Mariaaa!" Alma cried, coming towards Maria and hugging her tightly. "O-Of course… I'm very happy you accepted as a friend as well…!"
"A-Ahahah…" Maria giggled, feeling overwheld by Alma's cuteness. "You didn't have to hug like that…"
"Ah geez, I guess that's it, huh? I'll be definitely joining you into whatever insanity you're planning, it's decided…" Emily facepald. "You can't throw out of it now after you said all of that."
"Yeah… You've done the complete opposite now," Sofia sighed.
"I'm joining too by the by!" Martina raised her arm; she had been mostly listening without saying much. "I know I'm a newbie here, but yeah!"
"Alright, alright…" Maria nodded. "Anyways, we're finally here. Damn, we talked so much we ended taking much longer to get to the beach…"
Maria sighed in relief, walking to the beach with everyone else, carefreely looking at the water of the sea, she felt like swimming there for a while.
Although the interior of the island was weird and bizarre, the sea was strangely not affected, and the sea life was also normal, the sands were simply too, without Nightmare Beasts.
For so reason Nightmare Beasts seed to abhor the sea, and would stay away from it as much as they could, this even included the Nightmare Plants themselves as well.
"Have you ever wondered why the Nightmare Beasts hate the sea so much?" Emily wondered. "I just thought about it…"
"Yeah, sa," Maria nodded. "I don't know why either, but they seem to never get close to it."
"Maybe they're immune to the salt of the sea?" wondered Nyx. "They fear they'll get kidney stones!"
"W-Who taught you about kidney stones?!" Maria was shocked Nyx knew sothing so out of nowhere.
"Hehehe!" Nyx only giggled.
"But yeah, this is not sothing new we just discovered, there's so research going on about why the ocean is feared by Nightmares. It's not just Nightmare Beasts alone." Sofia nodded. "There aren't Nightmare Gates within the ocean either. Although islands that are large enough will still have Nightmare Realms appear sotis. So if you live in coastal regions, it's always advised to run to the ocean, the Nightmares won't get you there."
"Huh, now that's quite sothing, I might investigate it myself as well…" Maria nodded. "For now, where's that instructor? We've been walking around the beach for a while now!"
The girls were confused, they could swear the instructor was right in that place over there, behind so trees.
"Oh, I see sothing, mam- big sis!"
Nyx ran towards a silhouette she noticed, Maria following her closely by as the other girls also walked behind her.
"Instructor! We're done! Are you there?"
As Nyx walked there, she noticed an odd… thing.
"Huh?"
The Instructor's body was there, but its chest was carved open, its body was pale, lifeless, and its head was bended the other way, his pale eyes were still open, while his mouth was bleeding.
"Hey, aren't you cute? Would you like to play with too?"
Nyx glanced at the origin of that voice, the voice of…
A playful young boy.
She noticed the silhouette, the figure of so sort of Majin-like kid, sitting over the top of the tree.
He giggled, showing his sharp teeth, while devouring the instructor's Dream Heart.
"Let's play~!"
