The girls flew across the skies, trying to forget about all their problems, if even for a small mont. Although Francis was afraid of heights, when she jumped over Nyx's back and felt the wind, she sohow felt happy, as if she had experienced sothing similar once, sowhere.

Maybe it was because this was a dream to her, because her fantasies were finally becoming real, the fantasies that even when she was so little, would help her subrge herself in a world where things weren't so bad.

Worlds where there weren't people that mocked her so much, a world where they wouldn't always laugh at her, a world where she could see well, and wouldn't trip on the floor.

A world where they wouldn't call her dumb because of that, or because she was awkward when talking, or because she sotis beca hyperactive and did weird things or wanted to play a lot, or because she would sotis talk too much about stuff nobody cared because she was so much in love with the prince of this one certain fairy tale she loved to be told every night by her mama.

It was as if everything that made her herself… was disliked, nobody liked what she was, nobody like a single thing about her, they found her a weirdo, a creep, a stupid idiot.

It was exhausting for a little mind such as her, for soone growing, for soone that was developing, that wanted to take a place in the world.

But this?

Right now, as she felt the wind in her face…

As she saw the distant snow-capped mountains.

And as she glanced and admired the forest beneath.

She felt free.

For this very mont, perhaps only for this one minute.

She smiled, closing her eyes.

"It feels nice, Nyx! I'm… I'm so happy…"

She ended up shedding a tear, or a couple of tears at that.

"Oh…"

Nyx noticed the girl smiling and crying.

And she smiled.

"I'm glad you're enjoying it! Let's fly for a while if that makes you happy!"

"I want to go see the mountain! Can we? I've never touched snow before!"

"Sure! Let's go there then!"

Nyx descended into the nearest mountain, the snow cape was enormous, and very cold.

"Woow, real snow- Achoo!"

The mont she started running around the snow and grabbing it, Francis imdiately started sneezing.

"It's too cold for you, Francis! Here, wear this."

Nyx gave her a warm coat made of giant polar bear monster fur she used to wear when her ho was much colder.

"Oh, it's so warm and fluffy!"

Francis was happy with her big white coat, walking around while throwing snowballs.

"Heheh, catch this one!"

"Ooh! Ah!"

POOF!

Nyx ended up getting hit in the face by a big snowball!

"Hey, you little…!"

Nyx quickly created dozens of snowballs in re seconds, firing them at Francis.

"You can't catch !"

Francis jumped into the snow and rolled around, evading the snowball projectiles.

"Take this! Big snowball attack!"

She grabbed a lot of snow and threw a huge snowball.

It was huge and fell down as it flew though.

"Oh, it didn't even hit though!"

"Hahaha! I guess it didn't! Let's build a snowman now! I want to make one!"

"Really? Why?"

"Because that's what they always do in the bedti stories about Christmas! And then the snowman cos to life, did you know? Sotis with the soul of your father!"

"E-Eh? I didn't know that!"

"Yeah, so I always thought that if I build a snowman big enough, and wish for it a lot, maybe papa can co back!"

"Y-Your papa?"

"Yeah! Mama said he went away, but I'm sure he'll co back in a snowman!"

"O-oh…"

Nyx quickly learned what happened to Francis' father right there, and why she never ntioned him at all.

Of course, even for soone that ca from a Fantasy World like Yggdrasil, that your father that died long ago suddenly beca the snowman you made…

It just sounded completely crazy and impossible.

"Uh, I don't know if that would work…" said Nyx.

"What are you talking about! You're a big dragon that can fly and shoot fire! I think anything can happen now, right?" asked Francis while looking vibrantly. "I'll build a big body for papa, it will have big arms, and legs! Or not? I can't build legs, they fall…! O-Oh well, we can use these sticks as a skeleton! We gotta make him tough so he can survive the sumr!"

Nyx sighed, gripping her fists tightly.

"It won't work, Francis… that's just not going to work," said Nyx.

"E-Eh?" Francis muttered. "Why?"

"It's just fantasy… I am a dragon because I am a dragon," said Nyx. "But what you asked for that's… that's way too much…"

"…"

Francis remained in silence.

"B-But I want… I…"

"I'm sorry… I didn't know this about your dad…"

"Uuh… But am I not dreaming? Why can't… why can't I call papa then?"

Nyx sighed, what could she do?

"Oh… Nyx…" Francis said. "Then let's build two snown, alright?"

"T-Two?" Nyx asked.

"Yeah! One for my papa, and one for your dragon mama! Like that we'll be all reunited with our family!" Francis nodded.

"Oooh! Okay!" Nyx nodded, understanding the logic behind it. "Let's do that!"

As the girls nodded and started working on their masterpieces, a small crack in space opened, as two black seeds dropped from them, falling into the floor, and burying under the snow…
