Peter's Grill was a beautiful family restaurant that sold about everything we could have hoped to eat, there was also beer and wine for the grownups, roasted at, more refined plates, and even vegan nu for those that prefer more vegetables than at, such as Eraldine.
After those guys were spooked and ran away without paying, we made our way inside after the young man that told us there weren't any seats realized there was now a whole table with many seats ready.
We were a big group, but we fit just right. They quickly cleaned the table and brought us the nu, which was a damn code we had to scan with our phones! Like seriously?! Why can't they bring the physical nus? I rember the exact sa thing back on Earth!
"W-Wait a second how do we exactly do this? Do we scan this… this quare codu? Into the phone thing?" Partner asked while looking at the thing in her hands. "This is stupid, why can't they give us a physical nu like they do on Yggdrasil's restaurants?!"
"Because they want to save money and the hassle of making them I guess," I shrugged. "And I suppose that online nus can be edited to add new stuff or take away other things more easily than physical nus."
"That's… dumb," Partner groaned angrily. "I just want a lot of roasted at."
Among the few things Vampires ate, red at was one of their favorites, most other things that weren't at or blood didn't taste like nothing to them most of the ti.
Partner was a lucky exception as she could feel all flavors just fine, but still had a strong preference towards blood and red at.
"Um, I think I got it! I…! Eh? No? Wait, why is it saying that I need to download this? Oh? A smiley face is showing up in the screen?" Eraldine most likely clicked into so ad and downloaded a malware by accident.
"This phone thing is way too small and stupid, I don't really like it that much," Lucifer complained, his big fingers poking at his phone as he furrowed his white eyebrows angrily.
"Big sis I think they're hopeless," Arthur said.
"Yeah, just… let's see what's in the nu ourselves," I nodded.
Arthur wasn't even from Earth or an Earth-like world, he was a Yggdrasian person just like everyone here, and yet he was incredibly good at adapting to technology.
Maybe it was because he was young and young people adapted to technology very fast? Well, whatever the case, he was able to access the nu at least.
However, most of my family struggled with scanning the QR code and finding the nu online, they brought us so fresh water and a wine I asked for, alongside warm bread and so sauces to dip it into.
Once I realized they wouldn't ever get to it, I quickly sent the link of the nu to my friends, and they were able to finally access it and see what they were selling.
"Mama I want at and potatoes and… Ummm, rice! And do they have noodles with tomato sauce and cheese? I want pizza too!" Nyx constantly read the huge nu with her tiny hands moving the phone screen, she asked for every single new thing she saw. "And I want this kid's special that cos with chicken nuggets and a hamburger, and also the multi-fruit super juice!"
"Uh-huh, is that… Is that alright to order?" A young woman was already here to quickly get our order, and once my daughter told her all of that, she stared with a confused look.
"Yeah, yeah, she can eat a lot actually," I nodded. "She got the belly of a dragon, hahaha!"
"…"
The woman stared at while twitching her eyebrows.
"Sure… fine, I an, it's your money so you can spend it on whatever you want," she shrugged. "Has soone thought of what they want…?"
"I want this at over here," Partner pointed at the phone. "This one, can you get this one?"
"T-The Giant Family Grill? B-But that's for a whole family of like five… Are you sharing?" She asked.
"Maybe but I'll eat most of it," Partner nodded.
"Uuuh…" The woman looked at with a concerned look.
I an, what do you want to do? Just nod and say yes and bring us what we want!
"Yeah, that too," I said. "Um, who else wants to order sothing specific?"
"I also want what Partner is having," Lucifer said. "Also can you bring us wine? The oldest and strongest wine you have. Or I cannot really feel it."
"Huh? Okay?" the woman wondered.
"I want the Vegan Caesar Salad Bowl, with small crispy chicken bits and… A lon juice," Eraldine said with a gentle smile.
"A-Ah! Of course, finally soone asks sothing normal…" The woman nodded, sighing in relief.
"I want grilled chicken and noodles with white sauce and shrimp," Arthur said. "Oh right, and lemon soda."
"Sure thing!" she nodded.
"I want what Nyx is having!" Arachne said, sitting right at the side of Nyx.
"Ooh! Nice!" Nyx nodded.
"E-Eh? But that's… never mind," the woman sighed.
"Um, mama what do you want?" Celes asked Nia.
"I'm still thinking, don't you have curry with rice?" Wondered Nia. "Or perhaps a large grilled Desert Antlion?"
"D-Desert Antlion? We cannot cook Nightmare Beasts in this establishnt… They're still experintal dishes, and need to be purified using special magic," the woman explained. "However, we do have a small nu with curry and rice! Spicy chicken curry with rice, it also cos with so extra thing you can add, like fries and such."
"Alright, can we have two of those? With fries," nodded Nia with a smile.
"Sothing to drink?" Asked the woman.
"Orange soda!" Celes liked that one a lot.
"I'll just have so wine," Nia said.
"Good! Alright, I think we're almost done here… Sir? And Lady?" she asked and Jonathan.
"I'll have this grilled steak with roasted potatoes, and a small salad," Jonathan said. "I'll also just drink wine, yeah."
"I'll have…. Hmm, I want sothing sweet. I'll eat what everyone else orders too, but can you bring one of each of the desserts you sell?" I asked.
"E-Each one? But we sell over twenty-"
"That's fine!"
"A-Aah… okay, okay…"
As she walked away, I could hear the commotion in the kitchen.
