Alia was the original sister of the two siblings we're replacing. She was the sister of the "Maria" I have beco, whose true na I don't even know, and also of the "Arthur" my brother beca, which is the sa anyway.
We don't really know what their original nas at all were, honestly, but it makes sad to think about it even more, these people are dead now, but she doesn't know, and she's living with us, thinking we are her siblings.
Once things are over, I wonder if this illusion will break. Will people realize we are not who they thought we were, or will they remain under the spell no matter what?
It's kind of worrying to think about it, but honestly, maybe that would be for the better. The people that died must not be forgotten, and these people have the right to mourn for them.
And maybe hate us for replacing them…
I wonder what Sofia, Emily, and Alma will even think about once the truth is revealed, if this ever happens to begin with.
Will they hate ? Will they find creepy being a stranger?
Although I've only spent five days with them, I've already grown rather attached to them, and it makes feel kind of sad if I'll really be forgotten.
But… as I thought before, it is their right to know the truth, and hiding it is simply wrong as well.
More than anything, I'll be happy if they're happy and their world remains.
Yeah, let's think about that.
As we finished eating breakfast, we helped Alia wash the dishes while we talked to her about everything that happened.
Yesterday when we returned quite late, she was still awake and looked worried about what happened, it seed the news about the attack on the students was well known.
She was very worried and even cried but she looked calr now, relieved we were alive…
"I-It's so terrible what happened… I wonder if classes will even continue as normal? If sothing happens please co back ho, alright? I-I don't really want to even imagine sothing happening to you two…" She muttered. "This world is dangerous… I know that very well, so please be careful."
"I know, I know, don't worry," I nodded. "We'll be fine, and we'll co back, right Arthur?"
"Yeah, no worries," Arthur nodded. "We're pretty strong ourselves, big sis. But I presu classes might be cancelled, a lot of stuff has already happened after all. Continuing classes after all of that would be just distasteful for the victims…"
"Well I sure hope so, but that school is rather strict, and they're still a school producing Dream Warriors, the guardians of humanity and whatnot, so they might feel obligated to continue," Alia explained. "Anyway, take care! Please bring these cookies I prepared; you should share them with your friends."
"Ahh, thanks! They're the best!" I said happily, grabbing the small steel box.
As we left the house, she slowly closed the door and then we moved out of the house's garden, opening the tallic door and walking out, not before closing with the key.
"Alright, all done, let's get going then Arthur," I said. "Hm, any news?"
"Mostly what happened yesterday," he said. "It seems to have spread everywhere now… I guess it makes sense, it was a terrible tragedy. A lot of other students died…"
"H-how many? I didn't really pay attention; I was still processing everything…" I sighed.
"Roughly… twelve students," he muttered. "It's definitely a huge loss again… They're doing an event today after the morning's classes where they'll honor the loss of these students, a small event to rember them."
"I see, so I guess that's what we'll be doing today…" I nodded. "Ah, there they are."
As we walked around, we saw Lucifer and Nyx coming towards us. Then, from another side of the streets, Eraldine with Partner, and from another, Nia and Celes.
Lastly, Jonathan appeared from behind, walking from another farther away area of the city, everyone lived in their own houses designed since we got here.
I can tell it might've been a pain for everyone except Arthur and , we've been pretty happy just living in that manor, and Alia is such a sweetheart as well.
"Mama! Good morning! I missed you!"
Nyx flew to my side, quickly leaping into my arms.
"Hehe, good morning dear. You only slept in another house, and you missed ? You can't be this spoiled! What will happen once you grow up?"
"Growing up doesn't an I'll be separated from mama though?"
"Hahah! I guess you're not wrong."
I kissed her forehead, nose, and her little cheeks, and she kissed my cheek back.
She was so cute as always, and I would literally hug her and carry her around like this everywhere if I could.
"She moved a lot of last night, she wouldn't let sleep because she kept kicking …" Lucifer sighed.
"I-I already said I was sorry daddy…" Nyx felt embarrassed.
"Kicking? But why?" I wondered.
"She ate too much and was full of energy even when sleeping, go figures," Lucifer smiled.
"Oh that's why, haha, well I suppose she couldn't help it!" I giggled.
"Maria! Good morning!"
"Master, did you sleep well?"
Eraldine and Partner quickly caught in their arms, hugging from both sides.
"Good morning to you two, and yes I slept quite fine I think," I nodded. "I'm surprised, I was sure I would get so weird nightmare or sothing, but nothing of the sort."
"Well you're definitely above having nightmares…" I saw a little black cat appear and walk by my side, Beatriz. "Probably nightmares fear ever entering your dreams, to be honest."
"Aha, good morning miss grumpy whiskers," I said.
"W-What?! Don't call like that!" She complained angrily.
"Nyx! Good morning!" Celes greeted Nyx.
"Ah Celes! Hi!" Nyx greeted him back.
"Ah, we barely made it," Nia walked to my side, she looked gorgeous in her school uniform, just like Partner and Eraldine. "Good morning dear."
She ended kissing my lips unlike the others, almost by reflex.
"A-Ah! S-Sorry, I didn't an to- I know we have to pretend that…!"
"I-It's fine, nobody we know saw it so relax… Haha, anyway, let's get going to school, or we're going to get late."
