He gasped, realizing we were finally here, the "walls" I was talking about were giant natural walls made of black stone and red crystals, a long mountain range surrounding the next "layer" and the last.

"Alright everyone, we’re flying!" I said. "Let’s go past that mountain, that’s where our next destination is!"

As I said that, I saw the new Nightmare Demons be inford by the previous ones I contracted about what happened, and now that they had a new master, they simply followed us.

I looked at the fortress, thinking about bringing it along... But nah, let’s leave it there for now.

"Let’s go!"

I quickly spread my shadows everywhere, over hundreds of ters, transforming the shadows into a gigantic hand.

I combined the Shadow Realm Aura with my Selene’s Palm Skill, creating a giant Palm made of stars and the shadow of the night, and moonlight.

The entire army was lifted, floating above the skies, as we reached far, far above, finally arriving over the mountain.

"Woooow! We’re going higher and higher!" Celes said. "Alma was aweso back there; mom do you think I could do what she did?"

"I believe so, dear," Nia smiled, caressing her son’s head. "But better stay sharp and prepare, okay? Whatever is coming next will be big."

"Okay!" Celes nodded, furrowing his cute eyebrows.

"Don’t worry Celes, I’ll protect you," Nyx smiled with a cute smile.

"Thanks Nyx... But I also want to protect you back!" Celes said. "Let’s watch each other’s backs."

"Sure!" Nyx nodded. "Heheh, you’ve surely grown up!"

"Y-You think so?" Celes blushed.

He had indeed grown up a lot, he was also older obviously, it has been quite so ti since our first encounter with him and his mom.

"I see! Well, that’s amazing, it ans we got a great advantage in terms of the elent of surprise," I nodded, glancing farther into the distance.

In the middle of the swamps, there was sothing that was the origin of this miasma to begin with.

It has been roughly six hours since I started evolving... I don’t know what’s exactly going on the other side, but the evolution has accelerated.

I think that there’s sothing my other self is doing, so sort of special trial, the faster it is completed, the faster I am evolving.

And I can feel it, my evolution might be soon over... I cannot sit down and wait though; these are precious hours.

If the last day is where everything ends, I have to naturally confront them earlier, a day earlier at least, to completely stop and ruin their plans.

From what I’ve learned, the wife of the Demon King is creating millions of Nightmare Demon Eggs, and then she will send all these Nightmare Demons to conquer the world through the Nightmare Demon Doors that the Castle can create, or well, the Demon King can do, I think.

So we’re stopping that from ever beginning, we’re destroying that bitch, crush all her eggs, and make sure that these bastards don’t even take a step into Earth.

And how are we doing this when they got incredible tools to travel to Earth as they please? Easy, I’ve already solved that problem days ago.

For a massive Internal Formation I had already prepared in advance inside my Shadow Realm, the sa Barrier Formation I used to protect Academy City from the doors, stopping them from appearing ever again.

A Void and Space Formation that distorts space and leaves it "glitched" making it impossible to use teleportation devices like those doors within the interior of the barrier.
