"It is as she said! She’ll never be alone anymore!"
"Sofia!"
Martina smiled happily after seeing Sofia, while the Avatar of the Original Nightmare Curse only raged, gritting his teeth. His Aura exploded as white energy was constantly released from his body.
Unlike his other uses of his powers, this was a new type of power he had designed by copying the power of Cheng Xie, an energy called "Divine Ki" produced through the modification of Dream Essence, refined through Myths.
As a monster born from Fears, he was easily capable of harnessing the Myths of pain and agony that Humans had gone through and harnessing it into a power capable of nullifying impacts and absorbing energy.
"You truly don’t know your place, don’t you?!"
With a roar, he swung both of his palms, sending Sofia and Martina flying away as the shockwaves he unleashed with his palms were simply too powerful.
TRUUUM!
Both girls flew away, landing on a nearby building and destroying its walls. The entire building trembled but barely managed not to collapse on itself.
"That guy...! What sort of power is that?!" Martina asked angrily.
"Seems he can sohow control shockwaves or sothing, but they can also absorb physical damage and force? Even energy...!" Sofia said. "He’s definitely tough too."
"Yes, that’s right, I am quite tough!"
His voice resonated above the building as the girls panicked. His golden palms dug through the skyscraper, destroying each floor one by one and reaching the girls, who leaped out of a window barely in ti. Sofia grabbed Martina and flew with her wings.
FLAAASH!
"Co here!"
The monstrous golden statue roared. As the building collapsed, he leaped off the pile of rubble, his palms charging an especially large amount of this white power. He pushed it toward the skies, creating several shockwaves that chased after the girls.
"Are you kidding ?!" Sofia asked.
"We can’t just keep running, Sofia!" Martina said. "I’ve been able to go toe-to-toe against that attack. Let charge forward while you cover !"
"But...!" Sofia doubted.
"Don’t worry, we can do this! We just have to buy ti until they take down the other one!" Martina roared.
"Fine, fine! But don’t you dare die, you hear , Martina?!" Sofia asked angrily.
"I know, I won’t die...!" Martina said, suddenly kissing Sofia’s lips. "We’ve got a whole life ahead of us, don’t we?"
"E-Eeeh?!" Sofia gasped, growing redder with every second. "M-Martina! How dare you kiss like that! T-This is...!"
"CO DOWN ALREADY, SCUM!"
The roars of the Original Nightmare Curse reverberated beneath both enamored girls, as they realized this wasn’t the ti for such things...
But even then, it did give them a nice morale boost.
No, not just morale.
Rather, a boost in power too!
FLUOSH!
"Let’s go, Sof!"
"Yeah!"
Both girls rushed down as the monstrous avatar roared. His broken and shattered parts beca like molten gold, rushing toward the girls while charged with Divine Ki.
"PERISH! YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO ESCAPE FROM THIS!"
As they descended, both girls found themselves surrounded by thousands of molten gold tentacles, overflowing with transparent energy, Divine Ki, rushing toward them from every angle.
"HAAAAH!"
Sofia roared, her chanical armor glowing brightly as she began blocking the blows from reaching Martina. anwhile, Martina swung her hamr and created her Illusory Clones, rapidly beginning to puml through all to reach the Avatar’s body.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
Blow after blow, the tentacles wouldn’t give up, coming back more and more, beginning to rapidly pierce through Sofia’s chanical armor, spreading deadly cracks through it. The girl gritted her teeth, her energy erupting with strength as her chanical armor grew a second pair of arms, larger and robust, punching through the tentacles as they got closer to the avatar and...
"FUCK YOU!"
Martina roared, her hamr growing to an imnse size of almost a hundred ters, rushing down and crushing the avatar with imnse strength. The Original Nightmare Curse groaned, pushing up with his own Divine Ki as the hamr started trembling, gaining cracks through its body, but at the sa ti, so did his hands.
Crack, crack...!
"Hahahah! Not bad! But did you think I just had two arms?! Just like that worthless human, I can do what she does, even more!"
The monster laughed as he suddenly sprouted two more pairs of arms out of his body, made of glowing gold steel and nightmare crystals. He began punching Martina’s hamr, beginning to rapidly shatter it.
CRASH! CRASH! CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!
"Now!"
However, Martina roared as a cloud of pink suddenly beca visible behind the Avatar. His eyes widened as dozens of copies of Martina erged one after another, swinging their copy hamrs at him. Each one of these copies had roughly ten percent of her Dream Weapon’s total strength, but that was more than enough to smash his armor into smithereens through a swarm of blows.
"W-WHAT...?! Where did you hide that?! I couldn’t...! How didn’t I notice?!"
He was flabbergasted. Martina’s mastery over the Elent of Illusions had sohow surpassed his own mastery over all Nightmare and Dream Energies. But what she had done was quite simple, concentrating all her clones into a single Illusory Cloud and turning it invisible, a simple task for a master of Illusion Magic.
BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!
"GAAAAHHHH!"
The monstrous avatar groaned in annoyance and pain. The hamr rushed further down, crushing his arms and flattening half of his body before completely crashing him into the ground.
BOOOMMM!!!
An explosion of pink and black flas erupted as yellow stars and a strange cartoony sound could be heard. The Avatar wasn’t dead or sothing. Martina didn’t have the power to completely destroy him but...
"What...! What’s this?! HUH?!"
She had the power to surprise him, as he suddenly found himself turned into a flattened, pancake-like form, unable to even go back to normal, walking around without balance, falling and rolling on the ground.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!"
