"Well now! Thank you for all the gifts!" Maria laughed, spreading her arms wide. Black portals erupted from her shadows, and hundreds of weapons poured out—the sa golden armants once stored in the Heavenly Emperor’s treasury, now twisted by her nightmare powers into temporary Nightmare Weapons.
"T-THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING! WHY AM I SO POWERLESS?! I AM THE KING OF THIS WORLD! THE EMPEROR OF HEAVEN!"
The Emperor stepped forward. The heavens around him shuddered, coiling into thousands of colossal hands that thundered downward. They battered Maria’s army and family aside while straining to crush the towering Pagoda.
Yet Maria swiftly pulled her allies back. They charged again. Her disciples and family carved through his followers, while Lucifer pumled the Emperor’s face and Partner drove her spears into his flesh. Eraldine relentlessly showered him with hundreds of arrows.
"Yeah, yeah, we get it," Maria mocked, her aura surging with even greater fury. Giant fists of void and shadow erupted from it, smashing against the Heavenly Emperor’s Heaven Dominion. "You’re a pathetic loser, a bum, and a fraud. Okay."
He gritted his teeth, enduring the onslaught with desperate resolve. Then four radiant figures descended from the skies. His expression of despair twisted into fleeting hope.
"YES! THEY’RE HERE! RELEASE THEM AND ATTACK!"
The four remaining Heavenly Saints plunged downward, summoning four imnse monsters brimming with the raw power of Sins fused into their cores.
The Four Calamities of Murim, commanded by the Golden Dragon Emperor!
The Azure Qilin Sovereign charged, unleashing gales of wind and ice that froze everything in its path.
The Heavenly Red Tiger roared, blanketing the battlefield in infernal flas.
The Abyssal Tomb Tortoise advanced slowly, spreading waves of Nether and Death Ki while raising hundreds of undead beasts to fight.
Finally, the Heavenly Thunder Phoenix shrieked, its wings unleashing storms of lightning and heavenly thunder that ravaged the palace.
"Oh! Now these are so nice catches, Heavenly Emperor! Everyone, handle them!"
Maria swiftly assigned mbers of her family to intercept the beasts.
"On it!"
Nia barreled into the Heavenly Thunder Phoenix, grappling it barehanded and slamming it to the ground in a thunderous explosion. She followed with dozens of spear thrusts in rapid succession.
Completely immune to its elents—thanks to the Heavenly Thunderstorm Physique she had refined alongside her Wind and Thunder affinities after ascending to Immortality—the phoenix struggled helplessly beneath her.
"This should be easy!"
"Okay, let’s go!"
Celes grinned with confidence, joining Alma against the massive Qilin. They absorbed its frost energies, halting the spread of ice. Celes struck with his mighty trident while Alma restrained it with her own freezing waters.
Their elental affinities and matching physiques nullified the Qilin’s attacks entirely.
"Hehehe, you’re mine, big turtle!"
Nyx giggled gleefully, overpowering the tortoise in an instant. She flipped it onto its back and shattered its armor with relentless punches. The undead it summoned were instantly tad, turning against the Immortals as her new allies.
The tortoise coughed blood, its insides ravaged as Nyx unleashed her full power in her crimson form. She beca the first to slay a Calamity, devouring its organs in seconds like the dragon she was.
"Flas, huh? This won’t be too hard!"
Jonathan led a cadre of blazing warriors—including the Sunlight Blade Damsel, the Sunshine Empress, and Diodes—against the Heavenly Red Tiger. They absorbed its flas into their weapons, then unleashed countless slashing strikes that carved deep wounds across its body. Jonathan hamred its face and claws, forcing it back from the others.
"A-AAHHH! THE CALAMITIES?! They’re being overpowered—did that dragon just kill the tortoise?!" the Heavenly Emperor scread, horror overtaking him as his prized beasts fell in monts.
"Yeah, she was hungry!" Lucifer roared, driving another fist into his face.
"DAMN BASTARD! DON’T TOUCH WITH YOUR FILTHY HANDS!"
The Emperor bellowed, kicking and punching Lucifer away. Yet hundreds of arrows slamd into his back once more, forcing a pained groan. Through the smoke, Partner erged, her twin spears slashing toward his throat and piercing it repeatedly, blood spraying everywhere.
"GAAAAAHHHH!"
In his agony, his six Celestial Martial Souls unleashed their ultimate power. Six explosions of differing elents erupted, hurling Lucifer and Partner backward amid devastating blasts that shook the crumbling Heavenly Palace.
"I must secure the dinsion where he is! She couldn’t absorb it!"
The Heavenly Emperor transford into a blazing golden thunderbolt, streaking toward his throne room to reach the prisoner he guarded.
"Aaaaggh!"
"Heavenly Emperor!"
"Your Majesty, help!"
"How can they be so strong? AAACK!"
His Heavenly Saints cried out for aid as Arthur, Arachne, and Maria’s three "recruited" Saints slaughtered them. His face contorted with rage and frustration, yet he ignored their pleas and raced onward.
"You useless tools! You can’t do anything right! Everything is falling apart, and you can’t even hold them back?! Where are those damned Vampires?!"
He reached the gate to the hidden dinsion, kicking it open.
"Heh! You cannot follow here. This space is powered by a Vampiric Artifact!"
The Heavenly Emperor sneered as he stepped inside, only for the world to drench in crimson. Shadows spread rapidly across every surface.
"H-Huh?"
His eyes widened in shock. A gigantic crimson manor smashed through the dinsional ceiling a mont later, fracturing reality with a deafening crash.
CRAAASH!
"What is the aning of this?! Who—AH!"
Three overwhelming presences surged from the manor. Its gates swung open, revealing shadowy figures whose cruel smiles savored his ruin.
"Good morning, Heavenly Emperor."
"Xarion?! What are you doing here?! Why aren’t you helping ?!"
"After a brief discussion, we decided to claim Murim now that your rule is collapsing. We’ll take the source of that exquisite blood first—the Heavenly Demon."
"W-WHAT?! YOU’RE BETRAYING ?! XARION! YOU BASTARD!!!"
As the Heavenly Emperor scread in utter despair, two figures stepped forward, their auras radiating overwhelming might.
They were the other Family Heads of the Crimson Order, invited by Xarion himself.
"Fufufu! So this is the pathetic ’Heavenly Emperor’ you ntioned, Xarion?"
Lady Mireth Orraveth.
"I haven’t tasted it yet, but perhaps it might be worth sampling. Shall we all have a taste?"
And Lord Orren Sarnovelle.
