He alone perceived what the vampires could not.

His eyes widened. Maria’s techniques and blinding speed allowed her to encircle her enemies, attacking from every direction.
She coiled around them like a massive centipede, leaving no escape, biting repeatedly and injecting deadly venom.
"What is this woman?! She’s overpowering two Vampire Family Heads in their strongest forms at once?!"
Gasping for breath, he noticed Wu Lieng rushing toward his father’s statue, pressing a black bead against it.
"Hahahah... It won’t work; you fool! Nothing surpasses the Golden Curse! All who dared defy were— Huh?!"
His arrogance vanished as the black bead began absorbing the golden layer encasing the Heavenly Demon’s body.
"W-What...! IMPOSSIBLE!"
He staggered to his feet, blood pouring from his wounds. His six Martial Souls materialized, rging into his body and forming multi-elental spiritual armor.
"STOP THAT, WU LIENG!"
He charged the old man, summoning twin elental blades intent on slicing him apart.

Before he could close the distance, a colossal dragon claw seized his head and slamd him into the floor, shattering the stone beneath.

The Heavenly Emperor whirled around to face a towering black-and-white dragon wreathed in dual flas of death and life.
"YOU!"
Fury twisted his features as he unleashed a barrage of multi-elental slashes. Explosions hurled Lucifer backward.
"Hahaha...! You’re still no match for , you lowly—!"
"That’s why he’s not alone."
"NGH?!"
The Heavenly Emperor coughed blood as twin spears pierced his back repeatedly, shattering his elental armor.
"DAMN IT!"
He swung wildly behind him, striking Partner and sending her crashing downward. She landed gracefully, bat-like wings flaring as she surged back toward him.
"Heavenly Emperor! I’m going to drink your blood! Hahaha!"
"A filthy vampire! You’re with Maria?! How and why— It doesn’t matter!"
His armor sprouted dozens of elental arms, parrying every strike from Lucifer and Partner while forcing them back.
"You’re not the only one with tricks!" Lucifer roared.
"Yeah, let’s go all out!" Partner shouted.
"What?! What do you an by— "
"MARTIAL SOUL!!!"
RUMBLE!
To his horror, Lucifer and Partner summoned their own Martial Souls.
Lucifer revealed two: a gigantic Zombie Dragon of Abyssal Death Flas and a White Dragon of purifying Void Flas. They fused with his fists, amplifying his martial arts with devastating explosive power.
Partner’s single Martial Soul erged, dwarfing both of Lucifer’s combined.
"GRAAAAHHHH!"
A colossal, ghostly crimson skeleton.
"W-WHAT ARE THESE?! MARTIAL SOULS?!"
The Heavenly Emperor could barely comprehend the onslaught of dragon fists and skeletal claws. His armor fractured as he swung desperately, yet Lucifer and Partner held firm, blood streaming from their noses, eyes burning with unyielding resolve.
"NOW, ERALDINE!!!"
At their shout, an icy chill raced down his spine. Farther away, an elven archer stood poised, her power fully charged.
Her Martial Soul appeared as a towering Dryad of spirit wood, drawing a massive bow ford from its own limb.

A colossal arrow materialized, fusing nine elental spheres into one compressed projectile before launching toward the Heavenly Emperor.
"That attack is too powerful! I must evade! I must evade now, or I’ll be crippled— Damn it! They won’t budge! Are they insane?! They’ll be hit too!"
Panic surged as the arrow struck his back, piercing lungs and heart before detonating deep within his soul.

Agony consud him as his chest erupted from within. Ribs shattered outward, followed by lungs and heart.
"AAAAAAAGH!"
He collapsed in a convulsing, bloodied heap, struggling to regenerate while Lucifer’s flas suppressed his healing.
"Stay down!"
Partner wielded his own blood against him, forging chains that bound both body and soul.
"NNGGH...! DAMN IT!"
The Heavenly Emperor watched the statue rapidly shed its golden hue.
"No, no, no! If he awakens, I’ll...! AHH...! HEH...!"
As he feigned despair, Lucifer and Partner sensed the trap.
A sinister grin spread across his face.
"YOU LOSE!"
Their gazes snapped toward Wu Lieng. One of the Heavenly Emperor’s Martial Souls hovered above, unleashing a punch that hurled the statue and the old man away in a blast of wind and fla.
BOOOM!
"No! Father!"
Wu Lieng cried out as the statue burned, the Curse Bead shattering before it could fully dispel the Golden Curse.
"Hahahaha!"
The Heavenly Emperor’s mocking laughter echoed through the palace.
