But as he was laughing, he failed to notice a pair of cold Compound Eyes erging from a strange angle, as if boring out from a different dinsion without a trace of mundanity.
anwhile, Rzanine also managed to see clearly that there was no creature beneath his attacking weapon.
His strike had missed entirely!
Before Rzanine’s expression of shock could manifest, a surge of attacking energy fiercely burst from behind him.
A monster’s foreleg, origin unknown, shot out fiercely, directly stabbing towards his lower back and abdon.
“Not good!” A shock of alarm surged in Rzanine’s heart, and his alertness rose to the highest, for the fright was so intense that his speed unexpectedly burst forth.
His body dodged to one side.
As a Starry Sky Sovereign creature, Rzanine’s strength was naturally not to be underestimated.
Even though he seed to be caught off guard, he narrowly dodged the incoming attack just before it could pierce him.
However, his abdon still sustained a minor injury due to the insufficient evasion.
Fortunately, such a wound posed no significant threat to a Starry Sky Sovereign.
Behind Rzanine’s body, a blue creature seed to leap out from the void, and who else could it look like if not Jia Yan, whom Rzanine was supposed to have struck?!
As for the Jia Yan that Rzanine had attacked, he rely faintly disappeared from the vacuum, turning into nothingness.
“How did you do that?!”
Rzanine looked at Jia Yan with surprise and fright, his gaze no longer underestimating this peak opponent of the starry sky.

In fact, Rzanine’s attack was exceedingly terrifying.
When he attacked, he used a weapon similar to a long spear employed by humans, and considering his true body length of one hundred fifty ters, the horrifying capability of such a weapon wielded by a monster of that size was beyond a normal human concept.
The spear’s length exceeded the length of his body, and the stabbing speed reached a limit that even a cosmic-level being could barely react to.
Yet, such a strike was completely ineffective against Jia Yan at that mont!
Jia Yan once again faced Rzanine’s attack with an indifferent deanor, and then his body flashed with Brainwave Power!
The spear directly pierced through Jia Yan’s body, but at this mont, Rzanine felt no joy, but rather sensed sothing amiss.
“So it is, your body was never your True Body!”
Rzanine turned his body, redirecting his spear towards another direction.
But there was nothing there; he struck nothing.
Just as Rzanine turned to look around, a foreleg gently stepped out from the vacuum below him and then lightning-fast stabbed towards Rzanine’s vital area!
This ti, Rzanine had never expected that Jia Yan would attack from below.
He tried to dodge, but at this critical mont, he felt a paralyzing sensation from within his body!
Though this paralyzing feeling could only delay his speed for an instant, that mont was enough to seal life and death!
In a flash!
A spray of blood blossod in space!
“This this…”
Disbelievingly watching the sharp foreleg protruding through the front of his chest, Rzanine incredulously lowered his head to look at the Big Mosquito that had pierced him, the creature radiating a hateful blue light in his eyes.
“You, used poison!
Despicable…” His eyes’ light sowhat dimd, yet a relentless flicker persisted.
His resentnt stemd from his earlier injury, during which Jia Yan had used a toxin whose principle he couldn’t grasp, directly poisoning him!
While Starry Sky Monsters generally possessed incredibly strong bodies, so toxins in the universe could still poison them.
However, these toxins generally couldn’t kill them, and though so species’ strong ones had used toxic substances in attacks, encountering a master of poison was exceedingly rare.
Jia Yan had actually beco a master of poison?
As he observed the Giant Mosquito’s forelimb piercing through a body, Rzanine spotted a tint different from the profound blue, realizing it was the toxin that poisoned him!
“Despicable?
Is there such a word in the universe?” Jia Yan’s voice ca from behind him, followed by a fierce stir of his forelimb!
Blood reappeared, and Rzanine scread in agony, his gaze revealing the desperate struggle of a creature facing its imminent end!
“Run!”
The Light Shadow Monster hiding within Jia Yan’s body shouted loudly!
Jia Yan understood imdiately, and his body swiftly fled the scene.
Although a power controlling the environnt surged out of Rzanine’s body, trying to control Jia Yan completely by his side, Jia Yan had already grasped the mysteries of True Energy control over the environnt.
With a wave of True Energy, he directly blocked this controlling power.
His body shot forward with extre speed, yet Rzanine’s strike was already upon him!
This was a burst of energy that only a Cosmic level monster and especially a Respect Level monster could unleash upon death!
Knowing that he was going to die, a Respect Level monster could focus all its energy into one final, terrifying strike—with a might almost comparable to an ordinary attack by a Semi-permanent Star Level Strong One!
Of course, the power of a Semi-permanent Star Level cannot rely be quantified by amounts; comparing just physical strength would not be accurate.
Nevertheless, Rzanine’s final strike was undoubtedly terrifying.
“Watch out for his long spear!”
As Jia Yan charged headlong, the Light Shadow Monster suddenly sent a Brainwave Power ssage to him.
Jia Yan’s heart pounded alarmingly; he felt an unprecedented terrifying power locking onto him from behind.
Even using the recently perford “Illusion” maneuver couldn’t shake off the lock.
“It’s useless, you need to escape, his power is fully erupting now, nearing the Semi-permanent Star Level, your ‘Illusion’ hasn’t been mastered yet, you can’t deceive him anymore,” the Light Shadow Monster yelled inside Jia Yan’s body.
Previously, the move Jia Yan used, resembling a shadowy figure, was the “Illusion” taught by the Light Shadow Monster.
The move used distorted space to create an illusion of one’s body within the Observable Universe while the real body shifted into Subspace.
Though highly situational, this tactic proved perfect for today’s battle.
In fact, in the ever-changing combat among the Strong Ones, successfully deceiving Rzanine, a Dignitaries level, marked a huge success.
But now, with Rzanine’s sudden burst of power, the “Illusion” was no longer effective!
“Run, run, run!” Jia Yan felt the rapid escalation of Rzanine’s power behind him and a flicker of terror crossed his mind.
After all, Respect Level was still Dignitaries Level.
Although he no longer feared facing him head-on, the gap in strength was not so easily bridged.
At this mont, he respected the power of the Dignitaries Level monster even more than before the battle.
“Where will you run?
I’ll drag you with in death!”
As Jia Yan had fled about a hundred kiloters, Rzanine suddenly erupted with terrifying power and his persistent long spear was fiercely thrust forward!
The spear seed like a Strong One itself; the energy it possessed made Jia Yan’s scalp tingle, and its power exceeded Jia Yan’s imagination.
Behind him, the spear shot out, exploding in a burst of blinding light that seed to turn the entire world into a sea of light, an area almost transford into another stellar entity, all from a single shooting spear!
It chased after Jia Yan.
Although the spear hadn’t reached the maximum speed of a Battleship, its initial speed was incredibly fast, the quickest Jia Yan had ever seen.
“If it hits, certain death—escape quickly!”
Jia Yan exerted all his strength to fly faster, but the spear, as if having eyes, mimicked every turn Jia Yan made, closing the distance even faster.
Jia Yan himself didn’t know how fast he was moving anymore; he felt a trendous force from the explosive increase in speed, and his body underwent imnse pressure.
“Up ahead, a Battleship corpse, quick!”
Suddenly, the Light Shadow Monster pointed it out.
Hearing this, Jia Yan glanced quickly, catching a glimpse of tallic color, without ti to confirm, he dashed towards the location of the Battleship!
Just as he reached the Battleship, he felt the spear grazing his back.
But at that mont, Jia Yan fiercely turned around!
His body grazed past the lifeless Red Tower Alliance Battleship, so parts of his body harshly scraping against the surface of the ship, barely skimming past the body itself.
