[Subscribe for the genuine version] Jia Yan was taken aback by the words of this giant fox monster.
He knew that coming to this rcenary Organization might not bode well, but he didn’t expect that upon just arriving in front of a Semi-permanent Star Level being, the other party would reveal hostility in just a couple of sentences.
“Are you serious, the rcenary Organization actually wants to keep ?” Jia Yan raised his gaze, looking indifferently towards the giant fox monster sitting at the head of the table.
“Of course, for the Northern Star Domain, your existence disrupts the balance too much, and don’t you think your arrival has already caused significant losses?”
The fox monster seed in no rush to control Jia Yan, but slowly stood up from its previously crouching position, casting a shadow almost enveloping Jia Yan’s entire Mosquito Body in darkness.
“My arrival disrupts the balance, but what about your organization?
Don’t you think being deed the number one organization disrupts the balance as well?” Jia Yan wasn’t intimidated by its pressure, and continued to retort.
Thud, thud!
The fox monster moved its front paws forward, nearly reaching Jia Yan in one step.
It looked down at Jia Yan from its towering height.
“The rcenary Organization is indeed a disruptor of balance, but we do not cause unpredictable damage across the Starry Sky like you have.
In less than a year since your arrival, more than fifty powers in the Northern Star Domain have been obliterated because of you, both directly and indirectly, you must be aware of this.”
“Hehe, the powers of the Northern Star Domain have always been in turmoil, what difference does it make with or without ?” Jia Yan fearlessly stared into the fox monster’s eyes.
Jia Yan felt as if his body was going to ignite, the other’s eyes subtly hinted at the glow of Fla, causing a spontaneous combustion inside his body.
“Specious argunts!”
The fox monster suddenly emitted a strange fla from its eyes!
Jia Yan’s eyes flashed with astonishnt, but he reacted swiftly, his six legs abruptly moving!
His speed had grown a lot lately, and although the other’s Brainwave Power seed to have reduced his speed significantly, he was still quick to leave his original spot.
“Yi!?” The fox monster exclaid in surprise.
And Jia Yan too, was surprised to find that the fla he had just felt released by the other seed not to appear at all; there wasn’t a trace of fla on the ground or in the air.
“Impossible, I clearly felt the fla just now…” Jia Yan turned and reached the other side of the great hall, vigilantly observing the fox monster.
“You were able to dodge my special Brainwave Power control, your power is even stronger than the rumors suggest.” The fox monster turned its eyes in surprise, speaking calmly.
“Perhaps Mister Green Earth hasn’t exerted his full strength yet?
Why not try your best?” Jia Yan stood aside, equally sharp in his retort.
His attitude and eagerness made Green Earth slightly bewildered.
Then he felt sowhat of an incredulous amusent.
“You really think that just as a Dignitary, you can compete against us at Semi-permanent Star Level?
Jia Yan, your power is indeed strong and you have plenty of confidence, but if you really think that you alone can contest with a Semi-permanent Star Level, you are gravely mistaken.”
He shook his head, seemingly finding Jia Yan’s ignorance laughable.
“Hehe, without trying, how would you know my strength cannot match yours?” Jia Yan was not defeated by his words but continued provocatively.
A glint of nace flickered through the fox monster’s eyes, and simultaneously, a power began to condense in its gaze.
Jia Yan felt a sinking feeling, then a sharp flicker in his own eyes as he stared coldly at the other’s movents.
As if a battle was about to break out!
But just as Jia Yan was waiting, the fox monster, seemingly having heard sothing, gradually regained its composure although its gaze turned even more gloomy.
“Forget it.”
He coldly asked, “Mister Jia Yan, you ca to our rcenary Organization, surely you didn’t just co to provoke this old creature here, did you?
State your purpose.”
Jia Yan paused, he had just thought his predicted battle with a Semi-permanent Star Level being was about to begin here at the headquarters of the rcenary Organization.
Even though he had so new tactics and skills from Senior Light and Shadow, being inside the enemy’s lair, and possibly with other Semi-permanent Star Level beings around, he felt uncertain about his future.
Now that the other had suddenly changed his stance, Jia Yan was more than content; he wanted to battle with a Semi-permanent Star Level being, but he didn’t want to fight in their stronghold.
“I’ve co here to inquire if within this rcenary Organization, there is a type of energy called Stellar Energy?” he ceased his counter-moves but remained alert.
“Hm?
Stellar Energy!” Upon hearing this na, the body energy within the fox monster surged again!
Jia Yan instantly reacted to the energy surge, ready to defend against an attack.
Fortunately, the other’s deanor didn’t seem to convey intentions of attack.
But at this mont, as he stared at Jia Yan, his eyes showed even more surprise.
“This Jia Yan, who knows what Stellar Energy looks like, could it be true what so say about him being a mber of a distant powerful Species?
Or is it described in so relics of a Strong One he possesses?” Fox Monster began to doubt with so surprise.
Within this rcenary Organization, there was already an unfavorable opinion about Jia Yan, whose existence disturbed the atmosphere of the entire Northern Star Domain.
However, regarding the sudden ergence of Jia Yan, their investigations were cut short when he appeared out of nowhere from a piece of the starry sky in the Desolate Star System.
That could an that this guy Jia Yan didn’t originally belong to the Desolate Star System but ca from sowhere even more distant.
Therefore, the Giant Mosquito species he ntioned is sothing the Strong Ones of the Northern Star Domain must consider.
If he could co here, there’s no saying that other beings of his Giant Mosquito Species couldn’t also arrive here through spatial transfer.
Thus, dealing with this Jia Yan must be done cautiously, otherwise, if a Strong One or even a Stellar-level being cos from that possibly powerful species behind him, it would cause great chaos in the whole Northern Star Domain and even the surrounding starfields!
Now, this Jia Yan apparently even knows about ‘Stellar Energy,’ which is a high-level civilization knowledge or sothing only Strong Ones might know.
If he knows about it, the power behind him should not be underestimated.
“Stellar Energy is available in our rcenary Organization, and it is imnsely valuable—a bottle’s power is nearly equivalent to a bottle of antimatter.
What will you give in exchange for it?”
Fox Monster stated indifferently.
A bottle’s power is nearly equivalent to a bottle of antimatter?
Jia Yan was sowhat shocked when he heard this.
He knew about antimatter; on Earth, it’s already known but hard to capture, with only a few particles having been captured to this day.
Jia Yan also knew that in cosmic civilization, there aren’t many ways to capture antimatter either.
Even though so civilizations can manufacture it, the production cost is too high, coupled with extrely high transportation costs and trendous danger, the idea of using antimatter was abandoned long ago in the entire Star Domain.
But now he heard that Stellar Energy could be equivalent to the power of antimatter?
This was indeed unprecedented.
But it’s only such high-level material that could allow the Light Shadow Monster to exhibit such terrifying power.
Thinking of this, Jia Yan ca to terms.
But what could he offer in exchange?
Jia Yan pondered.
It wasn’t that he wasn’t prepared, but Jia Yan didn’t have much understanding of Stellar Energy, and the Senior Light and Shadow had been quiet recently, so he hadn’t asked in detail.
Just as Jia Yan was having difficulties, a slight tremor occurred in his body.
This tremor was extrely subtle; even the Semi-permanent Star Level beings didn’t notice!
Afterward, Jia Yan’s expression shifted directly from doubt to calmness.
“Here’s what,” he said, “I’ll offer a Stellar-level combat skill in exchange with you.”
“Huh?!
A Stellar-level combat skill?!”
The semi-permanent star-level Fox Monster looked startled, apparently very skeptical.
“Mister Jia Yan, you wouldn’t be playing , would you?
Do you know how trendously valuable a Stellar-level combat skill is?
Moreover, without the personal insights of the Strong One, even knowing the moves wouldn’t allow learning, this thing is invaluable.”
Jia Yan shook his head and then spoke.
“Don’t worry about whether I have it or not; I just want to know, if I bring out a skill, how much Stellar Energy can I exchange for it?” he asked.
“If you genuinely possess a Stellar-level combat skill,” replied the Fox Monster, seemingly thinking that Jia Yan might be a mber of a great species, “then I can decide to exchange it for three big bottles of Stellar Energy, and it’d be the highest grade.”
“Great!
Then exchange three bottles with .”
After a long discussion.
In the headquarters of this rcenary Organization, there is day and night, and when the stars of the starry sky fell from the horizon,
A black shadow slowly rose gently from the area of the headquarters of the rcenary Organization.
That was Jia Yan.
“Senior Light and Shadow, your energy is charged now, can we continue the conversation?” Just after Jia Yan observed his surroundings for a while and felt that no one was spying, he asked softly.
“Hmm, I can manage so speech now, but the quality of this Stellar Energy is not so high, not because they didn’t bring out the best, but in such a small rcenary Organization Branch, there simply isn’t better Stellar Energy available.”
An aged voice emanated from Jia Yan’s body.
“Hmm, I will definitely obtain better Stellar Energy for you in the future,” said Jia Yan.
“No need, I have already said, my lifespan is limited, not an issue of energy, but that the physical apparatus of my body has reached its end.
If you truly care, surpassing the Master in my lifeti would suffice,” said the Light Shadow Monster within Jia Yan’s body.
