Chapter 1348: Chapter 1 Death! [Subscribe to the genuine version]

Among the audience, the tide of public opinion had unknowingly shifted. Originally unfavorable toward Jia Yan, the crowd now voiced great admiration for him.

Especially seeing him confront an Outsider now, everyone imdiately began to support Jia Yan wholeheartedly.

After all, the matter of the Genius Battlefield was completely different when compared to external challengers. Internal disputes were one thing, but when outsiders insult the Genius Battlefield, naturally everyone unites to face the external threat.

However, the two gigantic monsters in the sky seed indifferent to the army of monsters below them.

“Jia Yan, who would’ve thought you’d be so popular in this backward place.”

The Two-headed Monster seed disdainful of Jia Yan’s reputation among these ordinary creatures. In their view, a truly powerful genius should exist on a level unreachable by common beings, with a life far removed from theirs. By mingling with these weaker beings, Jia Yan seed unworthy to be called a genius alongside them.

“Just a small amount of fa, nothing much to speak of. Enough talk, let’s fight.”

After his words, Jia Yan slowly ascended toward the Two-headed Monster.

The creature nodded slightly, and from its uneven, rough body erupted waves of shifting, volcanic power. It moved forward to et Jia Yan at the sa pace.

The two Strong Ones, like the calm before the storm, flew toward each other unhurriedly without unleashing their powers prematurely.

At a distance of five hundred ters, Jia Yan could now clearly see the sickening appearance of the opposing monster’s body.

Simultaneously, the opponent took in the sight of Jia Yan’s mosquito-like fra.

“As the first Genius from the Genius Battlefield to challenge , Jia Yan, I promise to ensure you die in a fitting manner.”

The Two-headed Monster, nad Ma Qi, scrutinized Jia Yan closely. Sensing the latter had only recently stepped into the late stage of the Honored One’s rank, Ma Qi revealed a confident smirk.

After all, for geniuses, even the slightest difference in Brainwave Power could result in an insurmountable gap. Genius Strong Ones have the ability to utilize every ounce of their strength to its fullest.

Jia Yan ignored Ma Qi.

High in the heavens, he extended a forelimb.

Poof!

In the distant space a kiloter away, Jia Yan abruptly entered Subspace.

“So, he’s a Space Talent Strong One,” Ma Qi remarked, entirely unimpressed by Jia Yan’s ability.

Upon seeing Jia Yan enter the Subspace Area, Ma Qi moved lazily, letting his uneven body shift slightly, easily dodging a forelimb attack that erged from Jia Yan’s direction.

“Jia Yan, I must say, your attacks are rather disappointing.”

Ma Qi returned fire with an almost mocking strike.

“How fast!”

Jia Yan’s heart tightened. To his shock, this genius, comparable in strength to him, had a speed exceeding several Semi-permanent Star Level geniuses he had fought before.

Yet, his expression remained composed. As Ma Qi’s strike approached, a forelimb rose in defense, clashing directly with the opponent’s attack.

The collision created what felt like a planetary explosion across the Universe Starry Sky, igniting a brilliant display of light.

The sheer force of their confrontation burst forth like a thunderous storm, crafting an awe-inspiring, man-made starry sky phenonon.

This magnificent display of power was utterly terrifying.

What shocked the audience most was that under such imnse force, both Respect-level geniuses managed to maintain control of their bodies.

After exchanging such blows, Jia Yan imdiately understood that Ma Qi’s strength was certainly not to be underestimated.

Especially within Ma Qi’s body, Jia Yan sensed a deeply horrifying force that had deflected his forelimb attack.

Ma Qi, too, viewed Jia Yan’s forelimb attack with a newfound sense of seriousness.

“His azure forelimb possesses an astonishing sharpness that even I find intimidating. If I hadn’t used force to deflect that limb earlier, I might’ve been injured.”

Ma Qi assessed Jia Yan’s forelimb with unease, his confidence in victory now shaken.

Both continued their duel.

Jia Yan’s attacks, to Ma Qi, were straightforward and predictable, entirely physical in nature.

Yet Ma Qi’s techniques left Jia Yan with a profound sense of realization.

Jia Yan, who had long been regarded as unrivaled in his tier, now encountered a foe of equal caliber. Naturally, he ticulously observed Ma Qi’s offense and defense.

Through this careful study, Jia Yan discerned that Ma Qi’s technical mastery greatly surpassed his own.

“Ah, I see… His thod of deflecting my attacks involves a combination of prediction and reflex. Clearly, his foundational skills far exceed mine.”

Jia Yan had finally grasped the strengths and weaknesses of his opponent.

Between geniuses, advantages and disadvantages are starkly visible. Jia Yan’s edge lay in his ferocity during combat. As soone who often fought adversaries stronger than himself, his offensive and defensive style leaned heavily on brute force, a perfectly natural outco.

Yet, this battle revealed his own shortcomings.

“Indeed, only in a battle against a true genius can I recognize my flaws!”

With a sudden lunge of his forelimb at the Two-headed Monster, Ma Qi tilted his head to one side, evading Jia Yan’s attack.

However, this ferocious strike filled Ma Qi with a sense of dread.

“Jia Yan, you’re clearly not trained within the standard genius system. Your techniques are so wild and unrefined!”

Ma Qi’s tone contained both shock and irritation, perceiving Jia Yan as one who strayed outside the rules.

“Regardless of technique, as long as it leads to victory, isn’t that enough?”

Jia Yan replied casually.

Though Ma Qi’s technique betrayed a level of precision that far surpassed Jia Yan’s, indicative of top-tier education and training, what did it matter?

Bam!

A subtle attack landed on one of Ma Qi’s ears.

A spray of blood erupted, painting the sky. To everyone’s astonishnt, Ma Qi sustained an injury barely two minutes into the fight.

“Oh! Lord Jia Yan!”

Below, a thunderous cheer erupted from the audience. For Jia Yan to inflict a wound on a supposed top-tier genius so quickly was nothing short of exhilarating.

“Haha! When Ma Qi appeared earlier, I thought he was so big shot. Turns out he’s no match for Lord Jia Yan. A so-called top-tier genius? He isn’t even worthy to carry Lord Jia Yan’s shoes!”

“Wrong—this is all thanks to our Lord Jia Yan’s unparalleled strength!”

With a decisive strike, Jia Yan solidified his advantage. This sight thrilled not only the monsters spectating below but left newcors like the Stellar Level Monster ‘Xi Fei’ and another Supre Monster visibly displeased.

“Jia Yan’s strength is undeniable, but his lack of experience in genius-level battles ans that the balance of power will soon shift,” Xi Fei comnted, annoyed at seeing Jia Yan injure the genius he himself had brought along.

Xi Fei had assud it would take the Genius Battlefield quite so ti to find soone capable of contending with Ma Qi, requiring reinforcents.

Yet, here was Jia Yan, instantly summoned, and already having wounded Ma Qi—it was humiliating.

Indeed, as Jia Yan’s straightforward combat style beca apparent, Ma Qi began adapting. Gradually, the scales of battle tipped.

“Hmm?”

Just as Jia Yan entered Subspace, preparing to launch an attack from Ma Qi’s flank…

A forelimb shot toward Jia Yan, leveling him.

All Jia Yan could sense was a earth-shaking vibration before suffering serious damage.

“Jia Yan, your fighting style has already been dissected. It turns out you’re just an amateur!”

Ma Qi struck Jia Yan with eight-tenths of his full strength, then relentlessly pursued him.

Ma Qi felt certain that Jia Yan wouldn’t quickly recover from his last blow. As he rushed toward Jia Yan’s injured form, Ma Qi prepared a follow-up strike to end it all.

As an experienced, near-top-tier genius, Ma Qi had fought countless battles with refined geniuses from Stellar Academy.

Initially, Ma Qi was caught off guard by Jia Yan’s overwhelming ferocity—a combat style rarely seen among geniuses raised under structured systems. Jia Yan’s natural rawness contradicted the norms Ma Qi was accustod to.

But now, Ma Qi had fully acclimated to Jia Yan’s thods, and his own technical superiority was coming to light.

“This final strike will end you!”

With murderous precision, Ma Qi aid his Brainwave Power at the retreating Jia Yan before lunging forward with his front limb.

In his mind, Jia Yan’s death was inevitable.

But then, just as Ma Qi believed his prey was defenseless…

Jia Yan’s Compound Eyes glimred faintly with determination, turning to face him abruptly!

Simultaneously, those azure forelimbs shot forth violently.

A gush of blood splattered across the heavens.

“You?… How…”

Amid the airborne blood, Ma Qi’s expression was one of utter disbelief.

Despite his calculated tactics, rooted in countless battles against elite geniuses, this result defied all logic.

The blood was his. It was him who was injured.

Ma Qi’s strike had co within inches of hitting Jia Yan’s body.

But the gap, that microscopic difference, proved impossible to close.

Jia Yan’s forelimbs had already pierced through his twin skulls. Both heads were skewered, with the brain tissue completely destroyed—an injury that even the most skilled Strong Ones could not heal.

“Why?”

Jia Yan shook his head.

Before Jia Yan could speak, Xi Fei’s brought Honored-level genius Ma Qi—the centerpiece of their invasion—let his life fade in disbelief.

He died.

Jia Yan withheld his thoughts, though he fully understood. Ma Qi undoubtedly possessed trendous strength, ranking as one of the most formidable Honored Monsters Jia Yan had encountered in this Genius Battlefield.

“His fatal mistake,” Jia Yan mused with bittersweet self-deprecation, “was underestimating , the ‘Alien Species.'”
