Chapter 1778: Chapter 26: Settling the Score

This Earth-level City Lord just realized that the terrifying army they thought Fairy City couldn’t resist is nothing compared to the rubbish in front of Lord Jia Yan; it can be easily dealt with using only Brainwave Power.

After Jia Yan did these things, it was as if he had done sothing extrely simple and turned his head to the outside of the house.

He looked up at the sky. Although others couldn’t see anything in the sky, he fixed his eyes on a certain spot.

“If you want to fight, just start; what’s the point of playing these little tricks? Divine Spirit!”

Jia Yan shouted loudly, and in the sky there, sothing twisted seed to quickly leave, not daring to et his gaze.

“Divine Spirit?!”

The City Lord inside, along with their subordinates, were dumbfounded. Such a small Fairy City battle had actually attracted a Divine Spirit? And moreover, this Divine Spirit was scared away by Lord Jia Yan with just one sentence…

It was like suddenly witnessing a fantasy story. Wasn’t Lord Jia Yan clearly a Saint Level? Why was he suddenly clashing with a Divine Spirit, and moreover, even the Divine Spirit seed to fear him?!

This was too shocking, and the two City Lords looked at each other in dismay.

For the mont, no one dared to disturb Jia Yan.

However, another small figure was different.

“Wuwuwu, Big Lord!”

A little girl leapt into Jia Yan’s arms, scaring a group of adults out of their wits. To know that a scary powerhouse like him had reached an unknown level, and yet i Ping dared to offend him?!

“i Ping.” i Ping’s father, seeing this scene from afar, turned pale instantly.

But what shocked the people around even more was that the black-haired, black-eyed Lord Jia Yan didn’t dodge or use energy to keep her away when i Ping lunged forward; instead, he allowed her to embrace him.

“Hehe, did you get scared? Don’t worry.” Jia Yan smiled, and under the incredulous gazes of a group of creatures, he actually picked up the little girl.

“Oh my goodness, what did I just see?”

“Lord Jia Yan, Lord Jia Yan, actually treats my daughter so kindly? Although I already knew he had taught i Ping, I never expected that he would have such a good relationship with i Ping.”

i Ping’s father and another Earth-level City Lord exchanged a glance, and at that mont, their minds were blown.

They’re not foolish people either, quickly realizing that the reason Jia Yan appeared to help them was likely due to i Ping. Otherwise, why would soone of such existence care about the fate of a city with no deep connections?

After exchanging a glance, they deeply felt that this relationship would be useful in the future. Even if they didn’t trouble Lord Jia Yan again, just ntioning that i Ping was under his protection would be enough to deter any alien or human forces with intentions against Fairy City from making a move.

And today’s events serve as a precedent.

This ti, passing through Fairy City, or rather things his avatar casually discovered, restored the precarious Fairy City to great prestige. Even though a massacre occurred, leaving only one-tenth of the population, Fairy City’s status beca more solidified. Furthermore, due to the deaths of many who opposed the currently weak City Lords, those City Lords’ power would beco more stable. After all, among the deceased were many of their opposers.

On top of Jia Yan’s connection, any beings daring to overthrow them would need to think carefully if they hadn’t reached the Divine Spirit level.

But none of these were matters Jia Yan was waiting to see.

For him, a small city like this was long out of his sight.

After resolving the Fairy City incident, he continued on his way.

i Ping clamored to follow, but her City Lord father held her back.

Jia Yan didn’t decline taking little i Ping with him, but after thinking about it, he realized that if he did take her, she would be in greater danger. After all, people would only think Jia Yan lent a hand to help a friendly human race city in trouble, but if he showed a deliberate close relationship with i Ping, it would attract the attention of those with ulterior motives, putting i Ping in danger.

So Jia Yan also persuaded i Ping, then took off, this ti heading for the true territory of Flower God!

Flower God’s territory is located within a district, covering a modest area of just over a thousand square kiloters, even smaller than the Huaxia on Earth. But in such a small domain, a Divine Spirit Level powerhouse resides.

And this Divine Spirit Level being, who seed to wander outside for quite so ti, found upon return that other God Systems had already subtly extended their reach into this place.

Of course, since Flower God returned, generally friendly God Systems wouldn’t be too overbearing in their actions.

“Divine Sovereign, outside there’s a creature from the human race who claims to be Jia Yan asking to see you.”

Suddenly, one day within Flower God’s territory, a servant of the Divine Spirit approached Flower God, who was recovering and resting, and knelt in respect, saying.

“I know, let him in.” The Flower God’s eyebrows raised slightly, and she said helplessly.

“Yes.”

The Divine Spirit Servant Emissary was a young Human girl who, seeing her deity’s attitude, felt that the one nad Jia Yan might not be a benevolent person, and her impression of Jia Yan wasn’t very positive imdiately.

Outside the Flower God’s domain, sure enough, a black-haired Jia Yan was waiting.

“Co in with , be careful, the God dislikes dirt and disorder, make sure not to dirty anything.” The Divine Spirit Servant woman ca before Jia Yan, inviting him in.

Jia Yan smiled without arguing, just giving a slight nod.

“By the way, you must be an emissary of so Divine Spirit, huh. Even if the power of my God is weaker, it doesn’t an you can bully us. When you see my God, you better watch your words, kneel when needed, and bow accordingly.”

The woman’s words were sulky, clearly having faced such situations often recently.

“Uh…” Jia Yan was taken aback.

Kneeling and bowing, he definitely wouldn’t do, and that Flower God wouldn’t dare to ask him to do so either. What surprised him was the factional strife within the Spirit system where he thought Divine Spirits would be mutually friendly.

“All right, step aside now.”

When Jia Yan was led to the room where the Flower God was, the Flower God calmly told her to exit.

“Yes.” Though reluctant, the God’s Servant complied and stepped out.

“This place of yours is quite sothing.”

The Flower God was still the sa Flower God, as no significant changes could occur in just a few days apart.

Jia Yan was sowhat intrigued by the Flower God’s room. The place seed enormous, like a room but felt like a whole world, reaching thousands of ters in height, with giant trees resembling real ones, draped with hanging veils, making it look as beautiful as a fairyland.

The Flower God sat at the base of a giant tree, maintaining the size of an ordinary woman, though dressed in draped veils revealing a faintly suggestive figure, resembling a true goddess.

Of course, by the thods of the Realm of the Gods, she indeed was a goddess, though she differed from the goddesses Jia Yan imagined.

This didn’t diminish her beauty, as she seed like a beauty walking out from a painting.

“Hehe, Lord Jia Yan, you’re kidding, this is just a small deity’s dwelling, far more beautiful God Residences abound in the Realm of the Gods.”

The Flower God responded nonchalantly, having likely ended a period of being weakened, now regaining so of the dignity fitting a Divine Spirit.

“How is your injury?” Jia Yan didn’t follow her conversation direction but asked about her injury instead.

“Temporarily, it won’t fully recover without a substantial amount of Crystals of Belief.” The Flower God answered candidly.

“Oh…” Jia Yan was montarily speechless, as he had co to obtain Crystals of Belief, but now found she needed them too.

“Lord Jia Yan, you must have co to see for sothing, please speak. I know you probably avoided other Divine Spies, but after all, this place surrounded by a Divine Sovereign, there are many spies around, and your visit might bring so trouble.”

The Flower God’s words were straightforward since after half a year of interaction, she understood Jia Yan’s way of doing things.

“Alright, I’ll speak up then.”

Jia Yan shook his head with a wry smile and then disclosed his intentions.

“It’s like this, I just want so of your Crystals of Belief… I have a use for them.”

Upon hearing Jia Yan’s words, the Flower God’s expression froze, then she gazed deeply at Jia Yan, eventually nodding: “Alright, I’ll give you a hundred boxes, which is my maximum limit.”

Jia Yan knew that the Crystals of Belief were stored in similar boxes he used before. Previously, he got ten boxes, and now he was getting a hundred, equivalent to eighty percent of the Feathers Tribe’s entire stock, a significant amount even for the Flower God.

“That’s enough, thank you.” Jia Yan nodded in gratitude.

“No need to thank , you spared my life, and I haven’t even had a chance to thank you properly, but after this, please don’t co looking for again. If other Divine Spirits find out I’m in contact with you, it would be very difficult for to get by in this God System.”

The Flower God Luolong Silk told Jia Yan helplessly.

“Alright, I’ll leave once I get the boxes, and won’t disturb you afterward. We’ll clear our dues then.” Jia Yan nodded gravely.

More than half a day later, a stealthy figure flew out from the Flower God’s domain.

“Heh, this Flower God did pay respect. I noticed she gave seventy percent of her stock. Such generosity ans her recovery will be much slower, but a clean cut is a clean cut. With these hundred boxes, it should suffice for to enhance and absorb those Stellar-level Ghost’s Blood.”

Jia Yan watched a Star-level Scout-like creature ahead, subtly avoiding it.

Though there were mutual spies among the Spirit series, they were not too strict, allowing Jia Yan’s avatar to co and go unnoticed.
