Now reading: Chapter 1975 - 19: Blood-Sucking, Back to My Old Trade! from Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito, a Sci-fi novel by Step leap.

However, these two people clearly have limited vision. They kept talking about so fruits in the forest or other trivial matters, never touching upon broader views of the world.

"They don’t have any useful information, I’m leaving."

Jia Yan just shook his wings, wanting to take off.

But in that instant, he saw the skin of the child in front of him...

Suddenly, Jia Yan felt a desire tickle his heart.

It was then that he suddenly rembered that he was actually a ’Mosquito,’ and mosquitoes can suck blood. In the past, Jia Yan didn’t suck blood because there weren’t suitable targets, and his previous growth didn’t require him to do such a thing.

Now it’s different. In this world, he doesn’t seem so great, and his status is hardly better than that of a tiny mosquito on Earth. In this case, if he seeks strong ans, then his blood-sucking talent might be a rather good choice.

After all, Jia Yan knows his true identity is that of an Evolutionary Creature, whose ability is to swiftly devour other energies to efficiently enhance his own strength.

Such an ability complents his blood-sucking talent perfectly. In the forr Universe, he didn’t display this energy because he couldn’t find good targets for blood-sucking, nor was there a need due to the presence of weaknesses. Under such circumstances, he didn’t suck blood.

But in this world, it’s different. The Jia Yan here isn’t considered a Strong One, and there are suitable targets for absorption...

Such as the Giant Tribe child right in front of him.

This child doesn’t appear strong, and Jia Yan knows that the child doesn’t even have a hint of alertness. Like in the previous battle, he was hurt by the Grand elder and mbers of the Monkey Monster tribe. In this case, if Jia Yan carefully approaches, sucks blood, and flees, he might have a chance to escape.

"Let’s go for it."

With a determined thought, Jia Yan directly charged at the exposed skin of the child.

Approaching the child, Jia Yan once again felt how gigantic this mber of the Giant Tribe is. Climbing to the spot of his skin took Jia Yan quite so ti.

Too large. For creatures like Jia Yan, you really can’t believe such beings exist in this world or Universe unless you see them with your own eyes.

Inside, Jia Yan also considered that this world might not necessarily exist with the forr Universe, suggesting a connection to the Twisted Territory of Subspace where he initially entered. No matter how much he thinks, he can’t figure out what this place is.

All in all, what’s crucial now is to survive properly and then find a way to return to his holand.

Of course, Jia Yan already has an idea, which is his own Subspace Talent.

Given that he can enter Subspace, and the feeling of this Subspace is not so different from the Subspace he entered before, Jia Yan might be able to perform similar maneuvers to return ho.

The only issue is that if he wants to attempt Distorted Space in places like the Sixth degree, he’ll need a transformation akin to the one that brought him into this world last ti, but what the opportunity for that transformation might be, Jia Yan doesn’t know.

He only knows that triggering such a transition would definitely require Power. If he had Power, at least he wouldn’t be so disoriented during another devouring, allowing him to record exactly what happened.

Given the need for Power, now is a great ti to try.

Jia Yan targeted the child’s neck from the Giant Tribe.

The child was playing on the ground with an enormous round stone that seed like a mountain. To them, there’s nothing else to play, so playing with such a thing brings great joy.

Yet when Jia Yan reached his neck, the child might have felt sothing, suddenly patting the back of his neck with his palm.

Luckily, Jia Yan sensed the child’s movent beforehand and quickly flew into the air.

The child didn’t hear the sound of Jia Yan flying up, and resud playing with the spherical stone.

Startled, Jia Yan flashes back to the child’s neck in his gaze.

His mouth needle searched swiftly.

For him now, the sharpest part of his body isn’t his forelimbs but his mouth needle. Even though Jia Yan hasn’t used his mouth needle much as a weapon, this mouth needle is crucial to him, functioning almost like a tool for eating. Despite knowing his needle is sharper than his forelimbs, he seldom used it for combat; he feared breaking it or offering the opponent a chance to attack his head by exploiting it.

But now it’s different; he wants to suck blood, so the mouth needle must be used.

Fortunately, the needle is sharp enough.

Poof.

Jia Yan gently pierced his mouth needle into the child’s neck.
